My goodness! I have nothing bad to say about this thrift/antique shop! I am soooo happy I was able to stop in today. It's extremely clean and well kept. It's easy to see what's around and it feels very organized. The prices are reasonable and worth spending time to search through. You know I know there may be some decent people but really not soo many. so I ended up in Lula B's and found a cool mirror but it was heavy I asked the lady at the register if she or someone could help me get it to my car. she said no, they are short handed. I started to try and get it to the car but probably would have damaged it . So I said I will pass. She was like maybe a customer could help and I was like nope. A large antique store, although not every booth is full - YET! I am sure as the popularity and trend factor of this store grows the vendors will be lining up outside to get a spot here. There were lots of unique items in this store. My favorite aspect is the booths packed with stuff where you actually have to dig through things. Some items you might see here: vintage toys, jewelry, bug and butterfly collections, a vintage radio dealer, records, furniture, wall art, dishes, AND a basement full of really awesome vintage clothes! AND it is organized. The Play Boy booths are not my thing. In fact, if I was shopping with children there is literally one booth where they would see some nude women. This place is a dream for someone who loves vintage and retro everything. It's HUGE so much to look at so take your time and plan accordingly. Don't forget to check out the basement. So. Much. Fun. I've explored other antique malls in Denton and even gotten lost in Montgomery St Antique Mall in Fort Worth which is an antique institution. Lula B's is so much better than any other mall I've been to. It's incredibly spacious and well-lit. There aren't any cubicles filled with junk. These are all collectible, nostalgic materials. I bought some great mid century barware. I ogled all of the beautiful midcentury furniture that I'd love if I could afford it. They do offer layaway, though! It's worth the trip to OC! read more

Very interesting store to walk around and look at some antiques and waste time. The prices on the items are high though. I have been to many antique malls and this is one of the higher priced stores I have ever been in. It is fun to look and rummage though. They have lots of costume jewelry, furniture, old signs, mounted butterflies in frames, dead dried bats (lol), rolling stone magazines, quartz rocks and other odds and ends that you don't just see everywhere. Things where cramped together, like a desperate yard sale. It was a bit overwhelming. Overall, it served will for mixed selection of stuff. From clothing, shoes, accessories, to furniture, house hold items and instruments, etc... The employees, or perhaps they were some of the venders where friendly and helpful. Because of them, my friends walked out with an armful of stuff each. Prices varies, as I came across some items that where priced as if they were brand new from the store. (I.e- a bride robe marked for $24, which you can get brand new at a bridal store for the same price and style.) Four stars for selection and good service. What a cool interesting store. This store is full of smalls and great clothes. I do have to say some clothing booths here are a little much. They mix some tacky modern clothes which takes away from the cool vintage. You will find something to wear for any occasion which is why I really like it. Oh my goodness, I just LOVE this place. It is a dream store for anyone who's as obsessed with MCM furniture as I am. I happened upon this spot by chance and subsequently spent 3 hours perusing the many amazing booths. Not only did I find two Barcelona chair frames for next to nothing, I met a darling vendor who, after telling me her vintage-lover story, gave me a beautiful Mayan-style mask that now hangs on the wall of my library. I will go back as often as I can make the drive, especially now that I know they have a constantly rotating inventory. read more

Their new location is huge; the wide aisles are easy to navigate and they have nice clean restrooms near the front that are quick to locate. They have a lot of vintage items to offer on the ground level but once you get downstairs to the clothing and surplus items, it seems like an afterthought. A lot of space downstairs was still for rent so most of the items displayed weren't that interesting or severely out of style. The moment I walked in, I was transported to a land of magical nostalgia. I walked the aisles for an hour, gawking whimsically at the items for sale and could've very well took several spins around again for a multitude of hours more. My friend and I stumbled upon this place recently. We went inside to look around. The mid-century theme is super dope. As we hit the back wall, we seen a sign pointing to basement stairs that advertised clothes. We had decided to go down stairs and I was shocked as I had never seen anything similar. Many merchants leasing out space with different clothing options. Lots of affordable varsity jackets, jeans, boots, dress shoes, etc. The star of the show was the attendant "aunty" Traci. Dropped knowledge about the booths and how pricing worked. As my friend and I spoke with her more, she shared her background and best practices with navigating the professional world as young adults. While totally unrelated to clothing or anything vintage, I found the overall customer service from her to be amazing. This is super cool concept with all things vintage and retro. There are two Lula Bs locations and they are both worth going to. The West store was our favorite, just because we found more things to buy there, but the main location was great too. This location is two stories, upstairs is furniture, pottery, glassware, your normal mix of vintage and antique items. Downstairs is vintage clothing. Really cool store, staff was super friendly.
