We ran across this restaurant online & decided to drive from Tulsa to try it. The food was AMAZING. Everything was so good!!! The rolls were fresh, light & fluffy, & each entree had a ton of flavor!! The environment was quaint. Simple, but who cares when the food is this good?! The ONLY reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was absolutely awful. We were seated & our drink order was taken promptly, drinks came right out & oil (but no bread) was left on the table. We waited 20+ minutes before we asked someone where our server was to take our order. The person we asked couldn't find her, so they took our order, refilled drinks & brought out bread. After ordering, we waited another 30-40 minutes before our food even came out. If the service had been better, this restaurant would have easily gotten 5 stars from me. Even with bad service, I do recommend trying it! read more

Went in on Sunday afternoon. Service was fine. Waitress was so fast I definitely felt rushed. They forgot our cocktail- oh well. The food was hot but tasted like salty Ragu from the jar. No authentic or rich taste. Watery cheese. Honestly it was like an order from Dominoes. Lasagna was yukky. The Italian trio was like salty sludge. Bread was good tho. My husband and I were seated quickly but then the it seemed we were forgotten. The party behind us go their drinks and food and we still hadn't been waited on. The waiter waiting on the party after us, asked if we got drinks we stated no and that we didn't have menus. The lady who seated us then took our drink orders and rushed us for our order. I perceived this situation that it was our fault that we wanted to order. We had to ask for bread despite that everyone was given bread. We asked for balsamic vinegar and there was none and it's an Italian restaurant. We had ordered the Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks and the Luigi special. This all came out at once. I loved the quickness of it however I want to be able to eat each course. The food was hands down AMAZING. When they delivered our food no one asked if we needed anything else, nor did they check on us to see how we were doing. This was the fastest we've ever been in a restaurant and it's not even fast food. My word of advice is to please make all of your customers feel welcome and not a burden. If we ever eat here again, we will be ordering out. read more

The spaghetti with the works is so delicious, the only reason i didn't give it a 5 star was because on your receipt they will round up the cents, which is only pennies but they are doing it with every customer so in my opinion it's unlawful and stealing. But food is great. read more

I like the atmosphere at this small restaurant... warm and comfortable... I had spaghetti with mushrooms, $12, and no salad... very good ... they did not offer fresh grated cheese on the top but did include a spoon... thank you! Hubby had the chicken Marcella which he also enjoyed, $14,no salad ,but we did get four nice rolls with olive oil ... I had water and he a Diet Coke... total bill $30.00 plus tip . Things there looked clean... only the women's bathroom had a toilet that was cocked left, odd, and the other stall had a lid that kept coming down on you... yes a problem. It was stocked well with soap and towels. Staff were nice. We will definitely be back. read more

I wish to begin by saying previous visits and meals have been wonderful. Today, an unfortunate, serious error diminshed our meal enjoyment, however. I ordered the Chicken Pomodoro explaining to our waitress no pasta, please as I am gluten intolerant, Celiac. I also ordered a side salad emphasizing no croutons, please. Mid-way through eating, mixed in among diced vegetables nearer the bottom of my serving plate I noticed an unusual texture in the sauce. There was a strand of cooked spaghetti, wheat and gluten bearing spaghetti. Not a big deal if one avoids gluten by 'fad diet' choice. However for a person avoiding gluten due to an auto-immune concern the gluten cross-contamination discovery is upsetting and medically concerning. We showed the spahetti strand to our waitress in an effort to advocate for Celiac awareness and educate the kitchen staff. There was no way to gain reassurance whether my plate had been filled with the usual pasta serving for this entree, until the staff Re-read 'no pasta' and dumped out the pasta --- but used the same dish for sauce, vegetables and chicken? Or did the kitchen staff provide a clean bowl and the one stray spaghetti strand was a coincidence? Who knows? Either way my meal was gluten contaminated and I didn't discover that detail until it was too late - at the half-way consumed moment I saw the spaghetti. We explained we weren't looking to have my meal comped at all, we wanted the staff to expand their awareness how severe an error like this is for those with Celiac. We paid for our meal. We half way expected a manager or a kitchen supervisor to visit our table to engage in quick conversation about this. But nobody approached us to discuss this careless error. Suffice it to say, we won't eat there again as I will always question culinary safety practices regardinv my health. If you have food alergies or sensitivities, or Celiac, this isn't a safe dining option for you. read more

The staff is always pleasant, from the time you arrive to when you're walking out the door they're so accommodating and helpful! And the food, totally drool worthy. My favorite is the chef's special. Let me first say that I never expected to get decent Italian food in Skiatook, OK. In fact, when my friend suggested we meet there for dinner I was very reluctant and dread set in as I parked out front. Now, for the review. WOW!!! Everyone at our table was blown away! I almost always go for something in red sauce if it's a new place as that is the keystone by which I judge any Italian joint. For some reason, this time I chose white sauce. I had the Chef's Special with Tortellini, Chicken, Shrimp and spicy cherry peppers in Alfredo Sauce. The chicken was pounded flat, just the way I like it and was very tender. The six large shrimp were grilled to perfection and bathed in Alfredo Sauce along with the rest. All I can say is this is truly homemade Italian. My wife had the Champagne Chicken. Both had incredible flavors. It was only the next day when my wife was eating her leftovers, and there is plenty for leftovers, did I try hers. I actually liked the Champagne Chicken better than mine. You can bet I'll be trying the red sauce next time, which won't be long in the future. read more

This is M& Cs favorite Italian restaurant we always enjoy the Food and family. Great deserts also, good salads.

Favorite dish is chicken brocoli. Dont like the bread. Prefer olive garden bread. Staff is always kind.

Wife and I ate lunch here today for our anniversary. It was recommended to us, so we thought we'd try it. Glad we did!!! We both had entrees with chicken and white wine sauce. Very delicious! My husband tried this restaurant in Lawton and really liked it, so we decided to check it our locally. There is one in skiatook and one in Bartlesville. This one was closer . I have to say that it's really good. Warm bread and olive oil dip was to die for, you fill up just on that. I got luigi's special and it was amazing, very tasty and saucy .
