The food was delicious. I had the Lobster Ravioli which was cooked to near perfection. The added shrimp pieces were slightly overcooked, but easy to overlook. The sauce was amazing and perfectly seasoned. Others had Chicken Capellini, Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, and Spaghetti and Sausage.. All were enjoyed. Bread rolls were really good! The Tiramisu was really good. Not too sweet like other places I've been. Service was quick and friendly. Not very attentive, but was observant when we needed something. I actually like that instead of waitstaff hovering all the time. The atmosphere was pretty loud, but not noisey. There were only 2 other parties at the time. Nicely decorated with typical Italian bistro paintings on the walls and Frank Sinatra singing on the speakers. We will definitely be coming back. We live in Tulsa and don't often get to Claremore but on our way back from being out of town we discovered Da Vinci's. We arrived for a late lunch and snuck in right under the wire before they switch to the dinner menu. Our initial impressions were very positive. The interior is quite inviting, quite spacious, with very tall ceilings. We really enjoyed the open atmosphere inside. Italian themed decor with Italian music playing in the background at a perfect level. We were seated at a booth and at the time we were there we were the only patrons. Our drink orders were taken immediately and we had time to look over the menu. We both decided to order off the lunch menu. Prior to our food being served, a plate of six warmed, very nice dinner rolls dusted with parmesian cheese were served. We loved the rolls. My wife ordered the Chicken Pomodoro. It was a very generous serving with a mild semi-creamy sauce. I ordered the Pasta Combo which consisted of a large beef filled ravioli, a generous piece of meat lasagna and a manicotti. A red sauce was over all three as well as melted cheese. It was served piping hot. We were really surprised at how large the portion size was for everything we ordered. We did wish the tomato sauce had a little more character, it was on the bland side. Both dishes were under $11 each and served with a nice basic side salad of chopped Romain with a tomato quarter. Overall we liked the restaurant and had a good experience. The prices were extremely fair and the desserts that we tried, Tiramisu and Limoncello cake, we're both quite good with the Tiramisu being the standout. Neither of the desserts we ordered are made in-house but nonetheless they were quite good. But all things considered the restaurant offers quite good food, excellent prices and a very nice comfortable atmosphere. read more

Our first time eating there today, 11am just after opening on Easter Sunday. Garlic knots gratis for the table were excellent. Wife had chicken alfredo feteccini (sp?) and I had the pasta sampler. We both really liked our meals. Her alfredo sauce was the perfect consistency, chicken was grilled and good texture, flavor profile of the dish was on the light side- which is a good trick with an otherwise usually overboard Italian staple. Wife thought the pasta was very slightly on the soft side / I thought it was perfect. My pasta sampler (ravioli, lasagna, manicotti) was delicious: the tomato sauce was perfectly seasoned and balanced with a little twang. You could actually taste the difference btw the 3 pastas / I think my fav was the manicotti, which I might get on its own next time. I spoke with the owner about traveling in Italy. I was wanting a change in the Italian food choices, and to get away from Tulsa central, so a trip to Claremore for Da Vinci's was just the ticket! The bread was oh so good, and the food was everything I wanted and more. Portion sizes were large enough for lunch the following day, but not so big that I felt I was eating from a trough. We went just before dinner rush, were seated immediately and were served with 15-20 minutes. The food was made to order and piping hot! The atmosphere wasn't necessarily cozy or romantic, but was more the comfort of being at a strangers home getting home cooked food. Actually my preference when I'm not ready to dress up, and I'm just tired from the day. Over all, a pleasant experience and food I think about often, so I need to return soon. read more

Initially I didn't think much of it since it's located in a strip mall area, but the food gave me homey Italian vibes. The midday lunch specials were such a deal. Tough to write this review... I wanted to like it so bad as it was recommended to my fiance and I to try (to potentially use them as catering for our micro-wedding). Bread was fairly good, calamari was decent, I really liked the Caesar salad... but I got the Chicken Parmesan and was disappointed. The chicken itself was very rubbery, not undercooked just... rubber. The "crust" on the outside was very soft and overly moist, when typically it should be slightly crunchy. My boyfriend had the chicken Pomadora and his was actually fairly good! I don't want to say it was a bad experience, it wasn't. But we also went early, like 5pm on Saturday night... it wasn't busy... so it wasn't like the kitchen was slammed and didn't perform their best. Might give it another shot another time, but we drove 35 min to try it and I'd give it maybe a 6/10. read more

When our family needs a place in town to sit a large group, Da Vinci's is usually the place. With plenty of space, great food, and centrally located, it's the meet up spot for large groups. The baked Italian roles are really good and unique. Most everything that we have had there is good and worth getting again. I personally love the Stromboli with some ranch on the side. When we first arrived albeit at 1:15ish on a Friday there were no staff in sight. We waited several minutes and then instead of leaving which I would normally do I decided to walk back to the kitchen and retrieve someone. The young lady chatting with the cook was apologetic and promptly seated us. After that it was pretty much smooth sailing with our waiter who got our drink order and food order as we knew what we wanted by that time. Not having very high expectations as this place is hidden and attached to a strip mall I went with the safe bet of chicken parm. When it arrived it was hot, fresh, the chicken was tender and moist and the whole thing including the side of spaghetti was just delicious. My oldest son ordered the lobster ravioli and I felt like it was even better than mine My youngest going rogue ordered cheese pizza and wouldn't even have tried it if he hadn't convinced my wife and son to try it and then they went on about it and they were right. You can just tell when it is all fresh and house made. They did it right. But my wife ordered the Davinci special and wow! truly one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. Near worth driving from home 2hrs to eat on the regular. Not exaggerating here it was that good to me. It'd be hard to explain really but if you like a little spicy sauce, Italian sausage, and grilled chicken pasta this one checks high. My one regret here is eating too much to try desserts but I won't make that mistake next time and we will have next times. read more

This is a rare 5 star review, at least for me. I don't give these out very often, and this one is well deserved. While taking The Kid out to see the famous Blue Whale in Catoosa, we found ourselves needing sustenance and in the Claremore area. A quick look around and we found Da Vinci's on the map. Located in the space formerly occupied by Goldie's, its tucked away back in a corner, behind the Chili's. The interior is open, spacious and neatly decorated. It manages to feel roomy and comfortable and yet quiet and cozy at the same time. Since we arrived about 3pm on a Saturday, the place was almost empty, save for one other group in a nearby booth. Our server greeted us with menus and wonderfully hot bread. Drink orders were taken and we set about deciding what to eat. Plenty of choices are available, and if you can't find something you like, you're probably too picky. The Son went with Chicken Fettucini Alfredo, and The Kid opted for a cheese pizza. The Wife, finally decided on Pomodoro over the Chicken Capellini, and I, ever the foregone conclusion, went with the Clams and Linguini, white sauce if you please. Entrees arrived in a short time, as would be expected in midafternoon. Everything looked and smelled fantastic. The Son's Alfredo was everything the dish should be. Not overly rich, but with a mellow flavor that made you just want more. The Kid's cheese pizza was also spectacular. The crust was perfect in every way, with the right amount of cheese and sauce applied. The Wife's Pomodoro was equally outstanding. While using penne pasta in a dish like this was decidedly different from most places, it worked well. The only issue she had was with chicken was overcooked. I tasted a piece, and I agree it was overly dry and a little tough. Note to the owners: Chicken THIGHS. Better than breast meat any day, and cheaper. That aside, the dish was excellent, and there wasn't any left, so that says something. My Clams and Linguini were nothing short of epic, and I don't say that lightly. The best I've ever had was from a local place on Brookside around 31st (not dropping names, but you know who it is), and Da Vinci's easily rivaled that offering. I literally used the last of the bread to wipe the plate clean. And that bread.... outstanding way to start a meal. For whatever reason, we didn't get an appetizer, so next trip back, that's on the menu, so to speak. Given our Owasso location, Da Vinci's is just a short hop away, so I expect to be a semi-regular.
