This has quickly become my go-to Italian restaurant in Graham, with Angelo's coming in at #2 and Anna Maria's at #3. We don't really have a bad Italian restaurant here - but Luigi's is definitely the tops. The former restaurant here, Pulcinella's, was excellent, with authentic food and atmosphere. When they closed and Luigi's opened, I had concerns. Over time, I've let their food convince me what type of restaurant they are, and it has convinced me that it is as good as the old Pulcinella's, if not better. The pizza is well-made and authentic NY-style. The pasta is fantastic, with well-seasoned sauces and noodles. The sandwiches are about the only knock for the food, because for some reason, the cheese just has never worked with the rest of the sandwich for me. Maybe it's just me, tho. Fortunately, they have a well-supplied salad bar with good, cold ingredients that haven't sat up under a heat lamp for hours on end. The restaurant is clean, front and back. I like the fact that you can look back into the kitchen as your food is made, and that said kitchen is very clean. The staff are extremely friendly - especially the owners/operators who are some of the nicest restaurant owners in the area. The only big problem is that the restaurant is both small and popular, which means seats get snapped up very quickly, which means you may be waiting a while. In conclusion, Luigi's is a great restaurant. It needs more space, but it's a great experience I highly recommend. read more

We love the 1 toppings special for $8.99 that Luigi's has during the week. It's perfect for a quick meal to grab on the way home. There is always ample cheese and toppings. The crust is on the thinner side which I prefer and enjoy. I love being able to get a salad to go off the salad bar. It's such a great deal. We tried Luigi's pasta lunch specials and weren't super impressed, but it was fine for the price. You get a small portion of pasta and one trip to the salad bar for less than $7. Food is fantastic! The service was great too! My glass always full, our waitress was friendly and funny. Everything was wonderful. If there was one complaint that I had, it was the fact that we left a really big tip, and before our waitress even saw it, our table was bussed and the tip was given to management to take care of. Ummmm... No! I've been to quite a few Italian ristorantes but this is almost as bad as olive garden if not worse. My shrimp scampi was lying in some sour soup, the bread, aka hot dog buns, was the salad was absolutely minimal but the service was... Good yet horrible? Like the girl that sat us down was pleasant and cute and all but she didn't listen. I told it was two of us yet she brought me one menu, asked for two waters and she brought one and had to ask for lemon twice. The waitress itself was awesome and that's why they get a 2 stars. The place was clean though a little tight but still comfy. Food was not bad... Spit out bad... Just meh, like wondering if that was what i ordered. And olive garden the food tastes good you just know it's not authentic. This was authentic just not good and that I think makes it worse than olive garden. I just had lunch here. Ordered a sub with fries. Waitress says "do you not want the salad bar....the price is the same." Made my salad...small amount of lettuce, cheese. When I went to register to pay, the (male) owner rang me up. When my co-worker (next) to pay, owner says did you not get a salad. My friend says "yes it came with it." Owner begins to argue with her. I came back to register and said "I got a salad with my sub." Owner states I owe additional $5.87. I explained that the waitress said the salad was included with my meal. Owner became very hostile, raising his voice, stating "it`s an additional charge." I opened my wallet and paid. By this time my lunch special is now $17.00 for a ham sandwich, fries, and small bowl of lettuce. Cost of a bowl of lettuce...$5.87........loss of a customer...priceless!! Visiting from out of state and saw the 3 1/2 stars so thought we'd check it out. The salad bar was pretty average. Sauces were watered down. We ordered pizza (of course). It was pretty bland. Reminded me of a kids pizza place. The waitress was friendly enough. Our son liked it. However, I would not return. I visited this establishment for a lunch date with my 2 year old son. We were seated right away and asked for our drink orders before getting to the table. I got the impression that they must have a busy lunch crowd with most guests having to return to work. (I was right, a pretty big lunch crowd with most tables full.) I decided on a small cheese pizza and small salad bar (small salad bar= one trip.) My son had a typical toddler meal of chicken tenders and fries. The salad bar wasn't very impressive with only a few topping choices besides the obvious lettuce. I definitely did not get my moneys worth for $3.99, but I did eat every bite. The pizza was delicious! The small had six slices. It had a yummy sauce and chewy, but crispy crust. I would return for the pizza! read more

If you like south jersey style cheese steaks then this place is for you. Rolls are to die for and the steak is of good quality. Hot, meaty, and tasty! The fries are good too. The pizza is okay, so I don't order it often. Haven't had anything else, so can't commit. The pricing is reasonable and the lunch specials are a great deal. The wait staff is polite and attentive and the owner is always there and seems very concerned with the customer's experience. And unlike Pulcinella's, these people are on top of things. Spending most of my collegiate years in a bigger city, I thought my palates were spoiled like the asian food available in the area. After noticing Luigi's opening in the recent weeks, I walked in on a Thursday evening. Skip the story telling, I ordered their special, a large to boot. At first glance it seemed uncooked, but I was wrong as it was delicious. Service was a bit over done but understandable as the staff was enthusiased, and as always tipped well. Comparatively I've had Fellini's and Antico from Atlanta as a taste slate in my mind, and Luigi's did not disappoint. I will be visiting again given the chance. read more

Talk about cutting your nose off despite your face. Tonight I ordered a Luigi's Special and XL Cheese to go. When I got home we realized the XL Cheese bottom was burned as well as tasting burned, it was as black as could be. I called and the owner agreed to make another, so I drove back to the restaurant. When I returned I asked if he would like to take any money off the pizza he replied "NO, I had to make another pizza" as if it were my fault. We normally eat here about twice a month on average but tonight will be our last. I have spent hundreds of dollars over the years and he wasn't willing to make things right, really! read more

For the longest time my wife used to religiously frequent this place when it was Pulcinellas. We were hesitant to try the place but are so glad we did. Food decent, waitress friendly, but odd interaction with manager or owner. We ordered thin and thick crust pizza. Both were good, nothing special, but cheese pizza rarely is! The lasagna was good, but I found it to be lacking in filling. It was mostly sauce and pasta. The bread was very good, some of the best I have had. You can't beat the lunch deal which included a salad from the bar. They give you a large plate for the salad and have a variety of items to put on your lettuce. All was well until I went to pay. I was not told to pay at the register and waited quite some time to pay the waitress who did not come back after she left the bill. When I went to pay , I assumed the man who rung my order was the manager or owner. He rung up several items and overcharged me. He seemed surprised and defensive when I questioned it. I explained that we had three items, what they were and what the total would be. After going back and forth with me as I pointed out the menu prices to him, he finally got within .50 of the correct total and I gave him my coupon at which point he seemed to blow off the fact that he was still overcharging me. He was rather rude about the situation and because of this, I don't expect that I would go back. You might want to check your bill and ask for a receipt if you visit! read more
