They take 3 or 4 hours to deliver they don't give you what you ask for! I live 3 mins away make it make sense. I ask for have chicken and mushroom with jalapeños & the other half sausage I got cheese no sausage I called them the boss said he was going to get my sausage in 30 mins next thing you know it's the next day the lady calls me from a different phone number and says the phones went off smh them I told her what happened she said an hour 30 mins it don't take that long to cook a pizza and deliver it 3 mins away I also ordered fries it was a good amount but they were cold so I couldn't eat them smh I paid 40 dollars for a large pizza with a fry pizza was warm like it's been sitting. The food is delicious. Like... Greasy delicious pizza, fried chicken is good, tacos are pretty deece. The service? Imagine you went to Ed Debevic's but instead of fantastic service with some rude comments, you just get rude comments and more rude comments. And terrible service. I have to say, one of my friends and I tried this pizza on essentially a dare. Luigi's is a hole in the wall on Broadway that seriously rocks. The lady that takes orders is wonderfully polite, the prices are dirt cheap,$16 for a lg 2 topping deep dish, and $20 for a large thin supreme. The pizza is as good as you'll get in the region and holds it's own with Beggars, especially for the price. Such a disappointment, The service was horrible. We waited over 1 hour and a half for delivery and when we called they complained that they were lost and couldn't find our home. The man was upset and gave us so much attitude. When i called and told them they got our entire order wrong the lady who answered, pretty much disregarded us. THE FOOD IS DISGUSTING! Last year I was temporarily STUCK in Gary, IN for a while so ordering take-out was a nightmare because most of the restaurants around there SUCK! Even a resident of Gary told me "You can't get really good food around here" Gary, IN is run down and 1/2 abandoned, and on the verge of becoming the next Detroit, MI. Well anyway....... I'm ashamed to say I ordered from this sh*t hole. Yes SH*T HOLE. It's a seedy sh**ty dirty hole in the wall restaurant that should be closed for good. I ordered food from Luigi's several times. The cheese looked weird & translucent. I always had to put it in the oven to further cook the cheese to melt it & brown it a little. The taste was barely sub-par. I had also gotten sick from eating a super-taco from there also, I thought it was the fact that I don't eat meat often and was having a reaction...... I did order one last time from them (Again, I was stuck in this gross city & I had no choice but to order locally at times) and this time was the last straw. I ordered a veggie pizza ( mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers & spinach) They actually poured a thick layer of disgusting cooked canned spinach on to my pizza, rather then sprinkling a few leaves of fresh spinach (the same way you're supposed to do ALL the other toppings). For the first time ever, I called them & complained to the manager and spoke about how sh**ty their food was and if I had any other choice I would have stopped after the first time eating their crap. Also that this WOULD be the last time I give them my business. I'm back in IL now (thank God!) and the food is way better here. If you want good food get on the e-way and make your way here for some good pizza and stay clear of Luigi's disgusting cuisine. P.S. I'm new to Gary and Luigis isn't bad...I'm from Chicago so its nothing like Ginos East or Lou Malnatis...they can be VERY slow with delivery at times so if you want your food at 7 or 8 I suggest you order it around 5:30/6 pm...They have gyros, tacos and fried shrimp as well and those aren't too bad either. Actually they have the best tacos I've had from a pizza place. So if your from the Chi and in Gary order them just don't have high expectations lol...but they are better than Dominos or Pizza Hut.. read more

Just ordered from here and they messed up the order n gave us sausage. So I called for them to fix it and they told me that's wat I ordered which it wasn't and I even offered for them to take the whole pizza back for an exchange for the right one n they wanted me to wait until almost closing time . When I ordered at 8pm . The lady also kept hanging up on my calm boyfriend so I got on the phone n snapped off they told me tht they can only do a 5$ credit n I told them they can come get the pizza n she said no so I asked for corporates number mine you she hung up on me 3 times I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up again . When I had ask for corporates numbed she told me that they are going to make a new pizza and it will be done within 25 mins and can be dropped off I'm still waiting for that pizza with this one untouched. So if I don't receive my new pizza I will bring the pizza back up there tomorrow n ask for my money back . Ate here quite a few times but after last time, won't be going back again. Ordered wings and fries but when the delivery came, there was only fries in the box. Delivery was 11:40 pm and they close at 11:30pm, so when we called to complain, they didn't answer the phone. We called the following day, told the manager about it and she asks us to bring in the box that didn't contain the chicken so she can figure out what to do. She also offered to credit us $3.00. After her arguing about how strange it was that we didn't get the chicken but fries and saying that it was odd that I ate the fries, she refused to deliver the chicken we paid for. Our order came to $22, and I tipped the driver 2-bucks, so I'll just consider that a $24 reason to never eat here again. read more

The absolute worse experience I have had in a very long time. I have been a customer for over 30 years but the last couple years the food and service has clearly gone downhill. I ordered ribs tonight, which were clearly burned, not even edible. I called them immediately and they said they would refund my money. When I took them back they said half the food was eaten. Mind you I purchased over $60 worth of food and all I brought back was the burnt ribs, which I ate NONE off...I asked to speak to the owner and they said he did not speak ENGLISH...really!
