We received a TEXT from the owners son that stated we are getting evicted for speeding. Mind you, they accused me of this one time, and since then, I was very adament about making sure I was not speeding each time going forward because I know for sure I was not. It's very hard to go 5 mph, so trust me, I had to work to make sure I was. I asked them for the proof that I was speeding and they could not provide that. My husband called to speak to the owner since the son said she just fired him and to call her after I was just speaking to him to see what on earth is going on. She immediately started cussing my husband out and yelling at the top of her lungs at him. Started ranting about why doesn't her care that her parents dying of cancer and why would we want to stay here anyways (probably ecause we paid you already to be here). I'm not sure what that has to do with her evicting us out of no where. Not great business practice if you ask me. We decided that, if she acts like that, we never want to step foot there again and found a new place immediately. Glad I did, after calling around, I found out what kind of person she really is. A few days after we left, I got a message from her son saying if everything is picked up from lot we can have deposit back. I guess he wasn't fired after all? The owner text my husband around the same time and said thank you for cleaning your spot and I will get you your deposit back. We never responded to the texts, because frankly I really had nothing else to say to them. A few days later, at an unacceptable time of day for a business to be texting in the first place, she said No response, No deposit back! She is lost in the sauce y'all! Just letting everyone know to avoid the craziness. The place itself is decent enough. Some reviews say there is asphalt, there may have been before, but now it's mostly gravel. Some pads have concrete, but most are gravel. The spots are not even at all (and we were on a concrete pad). Takes a lot of rigging to get a decent level. Plenty of other nicer ones around though. If they have openings, I'd choose them. You will pay the same amount and have a stay at a nicer place to stay with a lot more ammenties than Broxton's offers.

I had just texted my dad for the code and the owner pulled up next to us and yelled "If you don't know the code, Then you don't enter!". They have an on-line booking but we couldn't see a place to request a pull-thru or to get any offered discounts. We made the reservation on-line after several dropped connections; unsure if it's my cell service in Lufkin or their line. We booked a back-in site since no pull-thru sites are available for our stay. The confirmation came by e-mail quickly. I searched the Garmin GPS for the address and it took awhile to find it. Try address number 10502 and street name FM 2410 in Belton TX if you also have trouble. It would have been nice if alternate directions due to construction on the Interstate were in the e-mail but we skipped a few exits and came back on the other side. Our first visual impression is positive. We checked in and one guy gave me backing up directions that got me right into the spot. This was very helpful for me since we've only been RVing for 5 weeks and prior to that I'd never towed anything. The roads are asphalt, the pads stone and the picnic table pads concrete. The picnic tables are nice. The water pipe is insulated. Wi-Fi is slow at times. There's no local road traffic noise and an occasional distant train. They have a playground, dog park, sheltered (roof and three sides) picnic area with five tables, kids pool, hot tub, some outdoor exercise equipment and Amazon Lockers. It appears they are expanding.

They also offered wood to make a fire, grills onsite, pretty landscaping, and overall good lighting at night. We couldn't hear the highway noise inside the RV and it also felt safe. Downtown Belton is only about 6 mins away and trendy town with great local places to eat and visit. The staff is excellent, welcome you with a smile and provide top-notch service.

It's a well-maintained, age 55+ property, so there were never any kids yelling or loud music blaring. It is also gated at night, and as a single female, I felt very safe there. The park is out in the country, so it is very quiet - the only sound being a rooster occasionally crowing, which was quaint. The property managers, Greg and Amy, were amazing. When I had issues, they were always available to help, even when they were off duty. The on-site shower/restroom, laundry room, and community room are always clean and inviting. The neighbors are all very friendly, and there is a large dog park your fur babies. When I moved out, they refunded my deposits promptly and in full. If you're looking for a great RV park, and you're age 55+, Central RV Park at Parkside is the park for you! I would still be living there if it weren't for my job.
