Great vibe! The food is good, but you go to Lucky's for the cocktails and the energy in the room. Service is excellent as well.

    Cesar salad and bread

We went to Lucky's SoHo around 6pm on Christmas Eve it was quiet at first but it filled up quickly and had a really lively atmosphere by the end of the night. The staff started us off with water and kept refilling it throughout the meal, which is always appreciated when they do not forget to do so. We also loved the complimentary bread that they happily kept bringing out. For appetizers, we ordered the Caesar salad and fried calamari. Both came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. The Caesar was super fresh with a light dressing not heavy at all and just the right amount of Parmesan. The calamari had an amazing crispy batter and came with cocktail sauce and a spicy mayo that balanced everything perfectly. For our mains, we shared the filet mignon and the half chicken. We added skinny onion rings and mashed potatoes since the entrées don't come with sides. The filet was tender and flavorful, and they even offered to slice it for us, which was a nice touch. The chicken was good, though a bit average but the shallot sauce from the steak really elevated it. The onion rings were a standout super crispy, not greasy, and a HUGE portion. The mashed potatoes were fluffy, cheesy, and comforting. For dessert, we couldn't resist the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla bean ice cream. It was incredible. Warm, melty, sugary goodness paired perfectly with the ice cream. The dark, cozy ambiance made the evening feel intimate and special, and the service was friendly and attentive. We had a great experience and would definitely come back!

so I would say this is a pretty good steakhouse. I had this steak with The Roquefort cheese. even though I ordered, medium rare, it was a little overcooked, and the taste profile wasn't great. But the bar is a fun place to sit. Very, very high price point.... The onion rings were fabulous. Very different from the norm.

"Had a wonderful experience at Lucky's Steak House! The food was absolutely delicious -- the steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The sides were fresh and tasty, and the portion sizes were great. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, perfect for a nice dinner with family or friends. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a great steak!"

Ceasar Salad, Calamari's and complementary bread with Vermont Butter

Had a great girls dinner here. Nice, elegant ambiance, attentive server, and enjoyed the food. The complementary bread was great, very soft and with the creamy Vermont butter it was delicious. Not a big fan of the Ceasar Salad (I love Ceasars and have had a million of these so I'm quite the critic when it comes to those). The sauce had an interesting after taste, and the croutons weren't as crisp as I like them. The calamaris were great. Lightly batted but very fresh and flavorful. The filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and we paired it with the bearnaise sauce which was nice and thick. The highlight of the evening was the Mac & Cheese. It was SO creamy and cheesy, definitely go for it when you come here. Then the second favorite of the evening was our dessert, the Sundae.

    The famous martini

Well, well, well... Lucky's, the iconic steakhouse from Montecito, Santa Barbara--home of Oprah, Prince Harry, and that princess-turned-duchess. It's a personal favorite, and when I found out they opened one in Soho, New York, I had to take my friends there. I got there early to enjoy their famous martini--one sip doesn't quite knock you off your chair, but trust me, after the full glass and the refill (yes, the martini comes with a little sidecar!), it'll do the trick. The New York version is a bit smaller than California's, but hey, taxes, right? My friends arrived, and we grabbed a cozy corner booth. The vibe was great--loud with a mix of birthdays and couples out on dates. I'm pretty sure one girl had the martini, too, because she could barely get out of her chair, but her date was a gentleman and helped her out. This place is perfect for date nights, groups, or whatever you're celebrating. One downside--they didn't have escargot, my personal favorite. Boo. But no worries--I'll be back, Lucky's. Get my drink ready.

    Potato skins

This place was not good. The service was so unattentive that it was frustrating, and the food was just okay. I always order my steaks medium well, and when it's done nicely it shouldn't be tough, but this petit filet was very tough. My partner's matzo ball soup was also not great. The only redeeming dish was the potato skins. Also we had no idea why other tables were told the specials but we were not.

Our favorite restaurant while visiting NY! The service was impeccable.. the food was delicious - even my 11 year old thought so - the quaint and coziness was perfect!

Reservations open 2 weeks in advance around 10am and they go super fest so I recommend you try for the day you need as for me I could only have gotten brunch on a Sunday. Those people spam the crap out of their buttons for the dinner spots and when I went I can see why. The place is brimming with old school New York charm and it's completely overwhelmingly beautiful and has an old jazzy vibe to it. It's large and spacious and they sat us in the middle of the entire restaurant. (I had a group of 6) The vibe was so good you don't really want to leave and they also don't really kick you out. I think we were the last ones to exit for brunch but they were so nice they didn't kick us out. Their espresso martinis are ok. It wasn't as amazing as a regular cocktail bar but it is just ok. We started off with a shrimp cocktail, smoked whitefish Caesar salad and the two plates of truffle monkey bread which was soooo good. I really enjoyed this as it's the main reason we came here. It's almost like a honey dinner roll with truffle. We got everything next which some people got their own and some shared. Some people got their own American breakfast platter which was some overdone eggs and a meat with gigantic toast and if you only order scrambled eggs it comes in a bowl but I would much rather order their classics like steak sandwich and the spicy shrimp was pretty good! Fries are top tier! I can see why people just come here for dinner. I would give it mostly 5 stars for the overall ambiance and environment and a few classics. I think their old fashioned is better than their espresso martinis though even though it looks so good in this type of setting! It's hard to get a reservation though so next time I'll need to try some new things if I score another!

Decor/actual restaurant: This particular location is very small and tight with limited in-store seating. The interior is cute, I like the blue color theme they have here. For a restaurant designed for to-go orders, I believe that there could be more waiting room and a couple less chairs. Service: Like many "fast food adjacent" restaurants, the people who work there have good customer service but I imagine deal with the worst. I know they're doing great with the situation they're in. Kudos to them. Food: this is probably my harshest critique. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich, and it was fine. I don't believe it was worth the $16 I spent though. The chicken was kind of bland, tasted similarly to frozen grilled chicken pieces you buy from a grocery store. I do wish there was more sauce. The pesto tasted good but overall there was too much bread. I fear you would be better off making something like this at home for a comparable price. The bread was good, just too much. I don't want to base the menu on this sandwich alone, a lot of the menu options sounded delicious, but this was just the experience I had!

Everything on display was a feast for the eye and and enhancement for one's appetite. I chose the combo meal of half Longevity Bowl (I really wanted to try their Falafel!) and soup of the day (tomato soup). Everything comes with a pile of add-ons. I don't remember them all, but whatever they suggested and gave me, the combination tasted just awesome! The soup was thick in texture, rich in flavour, crunchy with the chopped nuts and seeds, and piping hot. Every bite of the Longevity Bowl was surprisingly delightful.
