Was quoted about 3 times book value as the base price for a car, plus high interest rates. This place is clearly predatory.

Fast-forward to October 2025, I got a tire pressure warning light, checked my tires, and found one still losing air after refilling to the recommended PSI. I called Tony Divino Toyota to schedule service and asked if the Platinum Tire & Wheel plan covered it--but was transferred multiple times between Service, Operator, and Warranty, even getting hung up on a few times. After several calls, I finally reached someone who understood the program and helped set up my appointment. At first, the visit went okay. Christian, the service specialist, helped me get the tire covered under the plan and order a new key I had lost. Since all my tires were low on tread, I replaced the full set and also had an oil change done. Normally I do my own oil changes, but due to personal circumstances, I couldn't this time. When I asked about torqueing the lug nuts to spec, Christian brushed it off with, "yeah, yeah, they hand-tight it." That didn't sit well with me--I take pride in keeping my vehicle in top condition, and I expect the same care from a Toyota service department. Communication afterward was poor. When I called to ask about pickup time, I kept getting transferred and the only answer I got was "We don't know." The next day I got a text saying my car was ready, and I appreciated the Uber ride they arranged for pickup. When I arrived, Stephanie was hesitant to print an invoice breakdown until another employee told her she could. After paying, I asked to have the service recorded in my Toyota account--like my previous dealership always did automatically--but it never showed up online. I also requested email copies of the invoices for my tire warranty and oil change, but weeks later, I still haven't received them. Overall, the customer service and communication were disappointing. The tone shifted once payment was made, and I found my experience matched many of the negative reviews I later read online. I really hope management invests in better communication, service training, and understanding of their own warranty programs. On a positive note, Mike, the tire specialist, deserves recognition. He was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful when I was choosing new tires. He recommended Yokohama, but after research, I went with Toyo. Mike's great attitude and service were the highlight of my visit--if it weren't for him, this would have been a one-star review.

I gave this dealership multiple chances over a 4 to 5 year period and used them as my exclusive…read moreservice provider, but over time a clear pattern of issues made it difficult to continue trusting their work. On my two most recent oil changes, my check engine light came on within 2 to 3 days afterward for emissions-related issues. The vehicle had never had a check engine light before these visits. Since I stopped taking it here, the issue has not returned, which was a major relief. After a 100,000-mile service that included a valve adjustment, I developed an oil leak from the valve cover area. Prior to that service, the vehicle had never had any oil leaks. It was frustrating to go from a properly sealed engine to dealing with a new leak immediately after a major service. There was also an issue with the serpentine belt. It was replaced during that same 100,000-mile service. Only a few months later, when my wife brought the car in for a routine visit, she was told the belt needed to be replaced again due to age and mileage, and it was replaced a second time. This was especially frustrating because it had already been recently replaced. When I followed up, the duplicate charge was converted into a service credit, but actually using it became an ongoing issue. Each visit brought a different explanation for why it could not be applied. Eventually, I was told the credit was lost due to a system change, which effectively meant I paid for the service twice without resolution. On multiple visits, the engine oil was overfilled even after specifically requesting that it not be. This happened enough times that I started checking it myself before leaving and had to ask them to correct it on the spot. Brake service was another disappointing experience. I was charged $125 for a single rotor (not including labor), which I later found selling for $25 at Walmart. The repair did not resolve the issue I was having. I ended up redoing the work myself and purchased two Brembo rotors for the rear for $120 total, which was less than what I paid here for a single rotor. While correcting it myself, I discovered that basic steps like lubrication and hardware replacement had not been done, which explained why the issue persisted until I fixed it. I was also quoted around $1,500 per axle for shock replacement using aftermarket parts, which felt significantly out of line with typical pricing, especially given the parts used were not OEM. I understand dealership service is typically more expensive, but I still expected accurate recommendations, proper workmanship, and appropriate parts for the cost. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. After multiple attempts to resolve issues directly with the service department, I did not receive meaningful resolution.

**** please ready before purchasing a used vehicle **** This…read morewas one of the worst dealership experiences I've ever had. We purchased a used truck from Young dealership in Riverdale and specifically asked multiple times for the vehicle inspection report BEFORE signing anything. We were told, "we'll get right on that," but it was never provided. I had to come back two more times, and on the third visit I finally said I wasn't leaving without the inspection report and Carfax. It took over two hours to get them. Once we finally saw the inspection report, it was clear why they avoided giving it to us. The truck had serious issues flagged, including oil leaks, bad brakes, and rotten tires--all marked as high caution. Within a day of bringing the truck home, it was actively leaking oil. We immediately reached out and were given the general sales manager's (Jason Shipley) contact. It took a full week to even get a response, and after being told we'd hear back, we were completely ignored. After two more weeks of trying, we had to go above him to the general manager (Jacob Sobers) just to get any help. We were told to bring the truck in to be fixed. We clearly explained the issues, but the service department either ignored or overlooked them and focused on other things. They claimed it was "fixed," but when we got it home, it was still leaking oil and still had engine blow-by. We took it back the very next day with the same problems. Then came the worst part--they denied the repairs. We were told every used vehicle comes with a 3-month/3,000-mile warranty, which covers any lubricated part and lubrication issues like oil leaks should absolutely be covered. Instead, they refused to honor it and would not take responsibility for a vehicle they sold in poor condition. This dealership was dishonest from the start, failed to communicate, and completely avoided accountability when serious issues came up. We were misled, ignored, and left with a vehicle that should never have been sold in that condition. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before buying from here.

They offered us 4000 for our trade in, we just spent $15000 on only 6 months prior. They wanted 6.6% interest, even though the kia sales event on their own website, and on all kia dealer sites, offers 3.99%. The salesmen was nice enough, but we new this deal was bad. On top of it all, the dealership itself gave us bad vibes. The selection of the vehicles was a lot less than others. About 1/3rd as much. The lot was dirty, a lot of cobwebs, debris on the vehicle that had caked up dust around them, etc. I'm used to new car dealers cleaning there vehicles basically every morning. To be fair it had been dusty/windy that day, but the caked dust and cobwebs suggested it had been a minute. During negotiating we said from the beginning we were just shopping and would like their best offer. They started at about $660 per month for 72 months. Offered 650, 620, i think 560 was the final offer. The manager came out to try and strong arm us "this is the best we can do" and when we still said no, they weren't rude, but were very cold about it. Boy are we sure glad we shopped around. We ended up closing at Jerry Seiner kia, for an identical vehicle, same price. Got the 3.99%, Got $9000 for the trade in Got the payment down to $450 per month. x72 months. SIGNIFICANT! To be fair, we had to negotiate at jerry as well. But while there texted the Wasatch salesmen asking if he could price match. The best they could do was $497. Still a difference of $47 mo, 3384 total. I hate that dealing with the "greasy car salesmen" is so true, and it's such a game. You really have to shop around, and negotiate. Honestly best advice, walk away, never say yes on the spot! You can always come back, they will welcome you with open arms. If you say yes on the spot, it's likely you got taken for a ride. I don't know how these people sleep at night having such a wide cushion to play with, but always trying to get every penny they can, for the exact same product...

What they didn't know is that I'm permanently disabled. I haven't been able to drive in over a year (and will never be able to again), and I had to sell my car last April. Getting this card was painful and upsetting. I called in good faith, trying to ask politely that I be removed from their system so I wouldn't receive more of these mailings. Instead of showing even a shred of sympathy, the man who sent the card kept asking me repetitive questions, like whether the number I was calling from was linked to my account -- even after I clearly explained multiple times that I don't have an account and can't drive. Then he snapped at me: "I heard you the first three times." That's how this man talks to a disabled person just asking to be left alone. There was no "I'm sorry to hear that." No "Let me make sure we take care of this for you." Just cold, robotic questions and a dismissive attitude -- and then a sharp, rude tone when I reiterated my request. I don't say this lightly: this man should not be working with customers, period. Especially not those who are grieving the loss of independence due to disability. I will never recommend this dealership as long as he remains employed there.

I was searching all day and looking at different lots, but they either didn't have what I wanted, were too pushy, or flat out wasted my time. I found them as I was traveling north up the valley and pretty much was going to give up after them if I didn't find the car I was looking for. I searched their up-to-date website that had honest pricing and no shady "call for price". I found a car I was interested in and headed there. I went in and was greeted and shown the car. I looked it over and really loved the personal touches they put on each vehicle they had (mine had a new set of rims and tires that fit perfectly with the vehicle). After test driving, rather than rush for the sale, Nate really asked questions to get to know me and explained Black Rock and their philosophy about how you should leave with a car that makes others wonder where you went, instead of a car that everyone and their mother-in-law drives (my paraphrase not his exact words). This is a small business I was glad I stumbled upon, and even happier I was able to patronize. I didn't read any of the reviews before I went in, but I wasn't surprised when I saw all the 5-stars on them. Thank you again for my Jeep, and I already have had a few people asked where I went and how did I get it at the great price I did. I definitely shared your website and will continue to do so.
