This restaurant delivered all of our Asian food cravings. It was modern, fresh, and tastefully plated. We started with the spicy tuna tots and Tokyo fried chicken. We have never had anything like the spicy tots before, they were INCREDIBLE. These things were bursting with flavor. I also want to shout out the fried chicken because it was equally as amazing. For the main dishes we got the Bukakke bowl from the oven and the tuna poke bowl. Both bowls felt carefully built. If I had to suggest one bowl to someone it would be the Bukakke bowl, because of the over easy egg, rice and pork belly were all done to perfection and paired perfectly. The food was very delicious. I got the vegetarian ramen with the egg on the side. The ramen could have probably used an additional vegetable but it came with pickled ginger, bamboo, mushrooms I added the Buffalo sriracha to my food and it was soooooooo tasty. Cannot wait to go back here! I stopped in after a hair appointment in the middle of the day for a late lunch by myself. I was the only person in the whole place which was surprising because they are always buzzing with people. It was my first time here and I was alone so I didn't order as much because I damn near wanted everything on the menu lol. I ordered the pork belly bao buns, spicy cucs, and the Brussel sprouts. The bao buns were incredible, soft and pillowing and warm like normal fresh made bao buns but also crispy on one side and brown from being cooked on a flat top. They were texturally phenomenal. The pork belly was sliced thin and crisp and the fresh pickled veggies are arguably always my favorite part. The two sauces that came on the buns were really good and my only complaint would be that I just want more of them!! So no let down here just want more!! The spicy cucs were good. I nice fresh bite to nibble on or to have as a side to a main dish, nothing special to write home about. But they were fresh and for $4 it was a generous portion. The Brussel sprouts. Stop what you're doing next time you're on Farnam in Blackstone and just do yourself a favor and get a helping of these things. If you don't like Brussel sprouts it's just because you haven't had them here yet. They were incredible. Crisp and also soft, umami from the salty brine or sauce they use. The portion was also large. The only thing it needed was maybe a spicy Mayo on top to cut through the saltiness, but these were seriously top notch. Not impressed at all. Went there on a Friday night where there was only three other tables with two guest per. We waited 45 minutes until we even started to get our order. Normally main entrees come out at the same time, not 5-10 minutes in between. One selection of warm beer since they were out of everything. To top it off, the ramen I think was made with angel hair pasta. Save your money, buy you a bowl of Machuran, at least you'll get your $0.50 worth. read more

I went here late on a weekday with a friend, and I am glad I did! I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was tender, flavorful, and looked gorgeous when served. Our waitress was the only one in the still-busy restaurant, so the service was understandably a bit slow. LT is also fairly pricey, which is to be expected out of a Blackstone restaurant, so be ready for that. I'll definitely be back! read more

I got the blackstone tonkatsu ramen which contains pickled ginger which I'm not a huge fan of and the broth was slightly oily but delicious nonetheless. First off walking in the Lucky Tiger is a nice & open feel. ( social distance responsible & very clean!!!) With the spray paint mural on the back wall it is cartoonish & a fun atmosphere. The bartender & waiter was very pleasant. He was very helpful with suggestions . My friend & I both got the bukkake bowl. Ok Ya'll, get your heads out of the gutter. I only gave a 3 star because it was lunch hour and there were only three people in the restaurant yet, service was sub par we sat down and were handed menu's and not a word said to us, didn't ask if we wanted drinks just were handed waters. Finally 6 to 10 min after we got there we were finally asked what they could get started for us. The table was sticky and not cleaned and their was food on the booth seats. What a disaster of staffing and management. I went in for a happy hour dinner and drinks. Literally the only customer in the restaurant. When I inquired, the guy who waited on me informed me that the happy hour specials are no longer printed on any menu, and are not available online. He said "fortunately I have a picture on my phone" then casually got his phone out, proceeded to say "I take way too many pictures" and eventually apparently found the one he was searching for, and then sped through 15 or so specials in rapid fire that were impossible to keep up with or even consider. I told him that approach wasn't working, that I'd look over the regular menu and see if the things that sounded good were available on the happy hour secret phone-menu. When I followed up to ask about any poke on the happy hour menu, he said "yes, but almost nobody orders the poke" there, and he wasn't sure how to put the order in for poke with happy hour pricing. He was almost pathologically bored and unhelpful, and said "yea I know it's really stupid" and "I don't make the rules". I then decided to leave rather than put up with such horrible service. This guy, or management, or both, should go. I won't be surprised to see this place fail given this truly terrible experience. Last time I went I was a little turned off because I went during happy hour and specifically ordered items off the happy hour menu and when I got the bill back they charged me full price. Table was very sticky, even after I grabbed an unattended cleaning bottle and rag and washed it myself. Seemed to have some kinda dark sticky substance all over it that wouldn't come off easily and a nearby table looked the same, so not sure what that was about. Tonkotsu ramen broth was good, though the pork belly was in strangely chewy pucks that were hard to eat, not the tender, falling apart pieces that I've enjoyed at other places. Octopus dish was also chewy, though it seems rare that places serve octopus that isn't. Hand grenades were good though (kind of like large seafood sushi rolls with a tasty sauce). Cocktails were great, if a little slow, even though they weren't that busy. In fact, service overall was kinda meh for a place that was half full on a weekend night. Don't think I'll be back, as there are better places to get Ramen. They've got a cool esthetic and idea, but they need to work on a few details (tables, pork belly, service, even the menus were pretty beat up) before they live up to their potential. read more

Awful ramen. I got the vegetarian ramen with kimchi added and the kimchi was the only part that had any flavor. They got a bowl of semi warm noodles, poured hot broth over them, and added cold toppings. The tofu was not only cold, it was raw too. The "shiitake bacon" was literally just dried shiitakes that were horribly difficult to chew. The broth was bland and the cold toppings made the whole thing lukewarm by the time it hit the table. Not to mention the raw egg whites and the somehow hard cooked egg yolk that made the whole bowl into a mess. Weird atmosphere too, and kinda sucky service. read more

Due to being short staffed, she was waiting half of the restaurant and on top of that was also bartending. I left at 9 pm, she had been there since 10-she said it was a surprise double. Because of this, our food was very late and one of the dishes we ordered was out and we were not informed until 45 minutes after ordering. However none of this is her fault. In fact, I applaud her for busting her a$$ to keep customers happy. Through all the visible stress, she was still so nice and smiled and took the time to ask about our plan for the rest of the evening. She is an exceptional person and server. It breaks my heart to see a business take such advantage of such a good, hardworking person. Clearly this company does not care about their staff. They only care about money. If you're thinking of going here, I would consider putting your money towards companies, restaurants, and services that give 2 shits about their employees.
