Best seafood and customer service place in George West,Texas!
    Jenny S.

I was in town visiting friends and was hungry for some seafood! I am picky with what I eat. We found this place and decided to give it a try. We ordered crawfish boiled with garlic sauce and it was very delicious and yet so simple. The battered shrimp and fish fillet was a great choice. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.

Rajun Cajun crab legs, wings and fried fish.

Food was delicious , great selection, we enjoyed our food. Fried Oreo's are a must, but do recommend you eat them while they are hot.

The railroad sauce is perfect for the shrimp and the onion rings. The bar needs a better liquor line up but the drinks are acceptable. This visit, there was no bar service as the liquor license is being renewed. Service is prompt and friendly. The ambiance is nice, rustic and quaint but some of the tables need a new finish. Nice place to eat. Try it.

Not a good first experience. Drove from San Antonio just to bring Mom for an early Mother's Day…read moredinner (this place came highly recommended). For starters, their menu was extremely difficult to follow, sides are not listed making it a challenge to put your dinner thoughts together (nothing like website.) I Ordered an onion ring appetizer for the table, I do expect see a little grease on onion rings BUT not so much grease that it literally took handfuls of napkins to strain all the grease. So we decided what about a salad? When it came, my wife immediately saw a long black hair on the top it, draped over the side of the salad bowl. Our meal came and we all were expecting it to be like the website photos but it was NOT! It was cold and greasy, fish had lots of bones, broccoli Coleslaw was very sweet and warm...I am terribly embarrassed that I took my mom to this place! We felt really sorry for the pleasant young lady that waited on us, she was great and did tip her well (she's not to blame for the poorly prepared and food). I thought maybe it was an off night? But every single thing that came out was horrible unfortunately. We surely will not travel all the way here again. Hope your experience was better than ours!

You can tell that the chef(s) pour their heart into eat dish prepared. My mother in law and I both ordered salads and my wife ordered the snapper tacos and we all ate every single bite! The ambiance is great for a casual family meal and there is also a bar area as well. My only suggestion is for the restaurant to please oh please put a bit into upgrading the bathrooms. It really is a disservice to the customers and experience when some of the stalls don't close and the toilets are literally falling apart and closed with plastic instead of the normal parts they should be. However, we will be back and recommend it to others for a great casual meal with excellent food, good service and reasonable prices!

The specialty meals come with salad or soup. I got the crab potato bisque. It was very tasty. My entree was Drum Parmesan. It had a pesto sauce and Parmesan cheese with 3 shrimp over rice pilaf and asparagus. I could only half and had to take the other half home. My husband ordered snapper ponchartrain. I tasted his and it was very good as well. It had a Cajun vibe, but not too spicy. It came with 3 shrimp, rice pilaf and asparagus. He had to take part of his home because we wanted to try their bread pudding with cinnamon and Caramel with a scoop of cream ice cream. I needed to walk the block after all that. It was all so delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant.
