Returning to the dealership, all was forgiven and a marathon phone session ensued between me, Street Cycles, my bank, and my insurance company. After struggling through paperwork and numbers and registrations and so-forth, everything was settled I knew I was going to buy the bike before I showed up, and maybe they sensed that, but it was really easy to do business with them, like falling off a log. He never called either of us back. Not once. We each called 4-5 times and were promised a call back. I grew up with BMW motorcycles and have ridden my whole life. Unfortunately, I couldn't do anything about it because they waived their "mandatory" bike inspection that they apparently perform on all motorcycles before they leave the lot (the inspections aren't free). They acted like they were doing me a huge favor when in reality, they were tricking me into signing away my right to do anything about it when I found the damage. I had even asked about the clutch lever because it seemed like it might have been bent and they assured me that it wasn't. I honestly feel like a moron for not checking the bike over more carefully. Fortunately, it was mostly stuff I wanted to replace anyway. It's just frustrating when people take advantage of you, which is exactly what happened here. They even said, "Welcome to the family!" before I drove away. Horrible people.

Adds a nice, north woods ambiance to the place! They have an extensive selection of Motorcycles, as well as clothing, boots, helmets, accessories, and more!
