Most important, he is not a "basket case" when we pick him up. Of course he is excited to see us, but he does not appear to be nervous due to the surroundings. I like both locations. Yes, they are both in "busy" areas. However, I am able to park away from other cars which allows for room and less stress for the human of a dog that pulls. Thank you! Since this was his first time and he has health issues it took a while but he feels so much better without all the hair and matting that he had. This was the best experience I have had at a groomer. Small space, not a log of dogs going nuts, as calm as a groomer's space can be. We will be back.

They seemed overworked and just not happy to see us or a big Golden-doodle. They then said that my dog's ears would have to be shaved due to mats after about two seconds of feeling them. Don't get me wrong, there were some mats but not excessive to the point of shaving. Our pup has thick beautiful hair and there was no thorough inspection done. She literally felt them for 5 seconds and said we have to shave them. #lazy We are extremely busy and don't always do a good job of brushing daily, but we do try. My wife left her there anyway but then we decided no we are not shaving her ears. So we went back to pick her up. The associate then treated my wife rudely asking well what are you going to do. She simply said I'll use a special brush and comb to fix her ears and they asked are you taking her somewhere else. My wife said yes we were taking her somewhere else. At that point they said they could do that but it would cost more and we have to pay up front. No thank you at this point. They should have inspected more closely, wanted to put in the effort to keep my dog sexy and offered that to begin with. And by the way, we were willing to pay extra for the help. We get it. But to simply say we have to shave them, no. My wife came home and spent about 30 minutes and got all mats out and she is now ready to get a wash. All I want out of a groomer is one that is happy to see us, one we can trust to make our pups look great and they try to make the dogs feel comfortable and pampered. That was not the vibe today and we will have to look for a new groomer down the road. Maybe it was due to it being late on a Friday but if that's the case they need to do a better job at booking the appointments.

Purr Luxe is a cat only pet resort - the facility is quiet, clean, reasonably priced, and in a great location. Also, very experienced with all kinds of cats as they also run a cat rescue and are familiar with giving medicine and working with difficult (feral) cats. I was really worried about leaving my 17 year old senior cat, as he has hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney disease, and arthritis. We have also never boarded him before. Purr Luxe did a great job of giving his medicine, food, him time out of his kennel, and sending me daily updates that really eased my mind. We left my cat for a whole week and I was so excited at how well everything went. Couldn't recommend Purr Luxe more!

Not only did they groom his nails, they also cleaned his face and gave him a flea dip. When brushing him she noticed a flea so they gave him another dip. We were shocked that he had fleas as he is on Frontline so she gave us some inside secrets! Their facility was extremely clean and they listened to our needs and concerns. We will be taking Rebel back to them monthly for his spa treatments and I recommend any animal lover do the same. (Oh, I forgot to mention they even found a bandanna large enough to fit is thick neck. He looks adorable and smells great.)

If your dog doesn't happen to be the social type with other dogs, they do have "solo" accommodations. My littlest dog goes here as he tends to be "high maintenance" for my neighbors and friends to watch. He LOVES the Kabana. I never feel bad about leaving him here. In fact, I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to come home. Great place! Recommended by my vet.
