I would have been far more understanding had I received a phone call about the injury instead of being surprised. My puppy had to have been like that for a long time considering the eye swelling, drainage, and pawing at it. Then, hours later, when the owner contacted my husband she tried to pin the blame on "puppies will play" and blame us for accusing her staff as being inadequate. Very defensive and non-apologetic. I would much rather trust a larger, more established business than attempt to return here.

As it turned out, my two canine hooligans had pulled my original sitter to the ground and put her out of commission. I was mortified. Fortunately for me, she was very forgiving and even more fortunate was that she called Daryn into service. Initially, I was a little concerned about having someone who I had not met watch the dynamic duo. So I sent in a trusted canine advisor to check out the situation. She appraised the situation and assured me that the hounds were in very capable hands. When I got home the pups were like 'meh'. Which, as a doggie daddy was a *little* disappointing, but more importantly it told me that my Weimies were very well taken care of. This has been my experience every time that I have had Daryn take care of my two fur babies - easy peasy.

We went to Las Vegas for 3 nights and left Tango and Jack with Mike and Beth. Communication was good and Mike sent us emails with photos and even a short video. The dogs are our "babies" and although we missed them very much, it did a lot to ease our minds about the care they were receiving while we were gone. Mike was great about sending me video & picture updates while we were on our trip. He's very knowledgeable about dogs, answered all my questions and my dog, Ozzie left happy and worn out! I felt MUCH better about leaving my best buddy in Mike's hands than at a big boarding facility where there's SO many dogs, so much potential for accidents, and not personalized to your dog. Mike is also insured (for peace of mind) and understands that dogs have quirks (mine has food allergies & separation anxiety). I'd give him 10 stars, if I could! We will be back!

His normal place sent him a last minute email that they had accidentally overbooked and he would be waitlisted. By last minute, I mean 30 mins before we were going to leave and drop him off. In a panic, we found Country Acres, who was able to take him last minute. They are incredible kind and patient, despite us getting every piece of information wrong. We knew his pup was in good hands, because all of the handlers we met were so nice and understanding, and at pick up explained he had actually ran out of food in the morning and they supplemented. The facility is extremely well maintained, offers additional services to really make your furry family member feel at home or pampered.
