We tried one other that seemed ok but you know when sometimes something just feels off? So I asked & our vet recommended Silver Maple instead...best thing ever. My first glimpse of how genuinely they care for our dogs was how nicely he goes in (tail is still down but he readily goes in after being greeted like Norm from Cheers). One time he got sick just before our Xmas vacation. He had only been on his meds for 2days before I had to drop him off but they have their system down to a science. It's simple but it's one they are clear on so there are no mistakes. Pam even called me to tell me she found throw up in his crate but wondered if giving him his meds with food would be less caustic & help him feel better...thoughtful & considerate problem solver & diplomatically explained! During that same boarding we were snowed in on the mountains in CO & couldn't get back on time. Not only did Pam accommodate but she also made sure he had enough of his meds. She genuinely loves animals & will go to bat for them. Communication & planning is key. If you'll be traveling over the holidays, book early. Always pack extra food & Rx in case it gets dropped or don't pack enough food. They took a Chewy delivery of food bc I stupidly didn't count out the correct numbers of cans. Cost-wise, we have found it to be very much worthwhile bc we absolutely know he's in good hands. To Pam, Mallory, Amanda, Lindsey & all the others I've not had the pleasure of meeting, you make Silver Maple a success & I thank you for taking such loving care of our Dexter.

No customer service skills. If you don't cater to her attitude (don't ask questions or have any specific needs). Its akin to the Seinfield episode of the soup Nazi. First time there I had a BAD feeling about her and didn't listen to my gut instinct and made the MISTAKE of going back. I've had 20 dogs my whole life. Several in the last 40 years. I was told on my last visit 9/8 my groomer was fully booked, when I asked for another groomer I was told they were booked as well . The reception advised me she would check with each groomer and see if they could squeeze me in. I was never given a reason why both groomers were booked solid seven weeks from 9/8. After waiting more than 24 hours without a call back I sent a text message. I received a call 9/10 stating they had no record of a text or email from me requesting an appt. Needless to say that call was confusing, so I called the reception who was rude, sarcastic, and continuously talked over me. she finally advisedthe reason the two groomers were booked was due to one of the groomers being out on maternity leave. If I was told that up front I would have understood. Instead the receptionist continue to speak to me as rudely as possible. I ended the call and said I do not know what to say. Due to the receptionist's behavior I will not ever go back to Heritage grooming. This all could have been avoided if the receptionist had just said we are fully booked because we have a groomer out on leave. Instead she was nasty, rude, and tried making excuses for her behavior.

We humans schedule our manicures on the regular, so why shouldn't we do the same for our fur-babies. You can call and schedule a nail trim for your favorite dog. Call, schedule and while you wait in the small reception area, your dog can get a traditional nail trim, or for a few dollars more, you can have the nails done with a grinder which makes the trim smoother. My dogs have always enjoyed the spa treatment, so I go for the full experience. A refreshing bath and a manicure, is well worth it. If you have a bath and brush dog, I highly recommend Cathy. I called to talk with the owner (BETH) the next day, she apologized and said he could get a free spa treatment next time. I was under the impression that meant a free grooming. Dropped him off today expecting them to make right the huge mistake last time. WRONG......I was stilled charged $86 today and come to find out "spa package" is $10. When I got home I called to discuss my dissatisfaction.
