Terrible service, worst nail salon in the area. They don't know what customer service is and don't know how to be consistent! Have broken my nails and damaged them numerous times and I have given them many chances because of convenience but after todays experience will NEVER be going back and wouldn't even give this place one star if I didn't have to. read more

I have been going to this salon since 2011 and have never had a bad experience. When I go, I either get a gel manicure, pedicure, or eyelashes. My manicures are always nice and efficient. Unlike other places I've been to, the gel nails do not fall off nor chip even after 6+ weeks, the pedicures are a lovely experience (try the #3, Lucky Nail Pedicure, it is the BEST), & the eyelashes are wonderful, consistent, & priced very well. In the past 2 years that I have been getting my eyelashes done, I've always laid on a very comfortable padded chair that my whole body can lay on (and I'm 5'6" tall). There's a TV in the main room where you wait & get your manicure and they always play appropriate television stations & shows that make your visit that much more comfortable. In the pedicure section there is always beautiful music, you sit in massage chairs, they heat the water to your preference, and the ambiance is so peaceful and relaxing. Lastly, let me mention customer service. Everytime the phone rang last time I was there, the owner would answer it and address the caller by name. I have seen tons and tons of people who the workers know by name as well. I observe people walk in all the time that have been coming there for years and basically treat the staff like family. In situations where the salon has been super busy, the owners go out of their way to try and make things go faster and make the customer's experience as good as possible (There is complimentary coffee & a fridge full of bottles of water). I'm not saying they start rushing on the jobs they are currently working on, but they really do what they can to make sure everyone is happy, even if someone walks in 3 min before closing. Went to the salon today for eye wax and left with severe burns both eyelids. The wax was way too hot and placed way too low. Eyes are very swollen and red and painful. Plan to see urgent care doctor in the morning and tell management. read more

They do the worse eyebrows ever. I got my eyebrows waxed there once, and one was arched the other straight. I was livid. I then went a second time and one of the technician was getting her hair done in the salon and turned away customers. Completely unprofessional. The lady doing my nails did an okay job, but I didn't like how she was standing over me until I gave her a tip. Won't be going back there. read more

I walked in and then turned around and walked right back out. The chemical smell in this place was crazy overwhelming. Maybe their ventilation system was not working that day? I don't know but it was literally choking. I'm no stranger to cheap nail salons either. Crossing this off my list and sticking to Love Nails. read more

Don't bother making an appt because they don't care about appt times. I made an appt and ended up sitting waiting nearly half an hour to be seen. Other than that they did a phenomenal job on my eyebrows, were able to fix what the last salon I went to screwed up and my nails came out perfect too. I'll be going to them regularly. read more

Well, I am disappointed because the regular massage person quit and so did the wonderful manager. I had not been back for some weeks but to my dismay I found no one in charge and the nail technicians were fighting for customers. We were also treated rudely and I will never go back there again. I love this place! The staff is hard working and very accommodating. I have been going to this salon for around three years. I've tried other salons and they were either overpriced or didn't do a good job. Minh and his wife Chi are the two people I go to for my nails and they never disappoint me. It says on both their website, google maps profile, and the sign on the door that they are supposed to be open 11-4:30 on Sundays but I went up there today, Sunday, and they were closed. This has happened two weeks in a row where I've made the trip and they've been closed with no excuse. Very disappointing they really should update the hours that they advertise. Otherwise great service everyone is very nice. I don't recommend pedicures though the tools look a little sketchy, I'm not sure that they clean them regularly. read more

Waited 30 minutes for my appointment. Was with 2 other people who had to sit around 30 minutes after they were done, for me to be done. Worst gel manicure ever. Polish on cuticles, inconsistent shape, and bubbles in every nail. Got a dark color, it needed more coats. Ridiculous. Don't even bother. read more

Waited 30 minutes to get a simple underarm wax. Then once I'm in there the lady tells me that she has to charge me extra because it's "long" and after when I told her she missed a bunch of hair she said it was because it's too "short".... The service took 30 minutes!!! Basically, I waited around to throw away my money because she couldn't correct it and now I'm home tweezing the hairs myself. Waste of my time. read more

I love Lucky Nails Spa!! Very friendly employees and nice & clean salon! The spa was recommended to me by a friend. The nail technicians listen and understand just what I want done...I admit I'm a bit picky, but they do my nails just the way I want them too!! They do not rush either...which is very good, they take their time doing your nails!! The technicians do my nails perfect everytime!! Always leave very pleased!! I don't know about the other negative comments made about this salon. I just moved back home from Arizona, I've been to a handful of nail salons in the general area ... This is the only salon I could find that does Gel pedicures. The other salons are all too lazy to do gel pedicures or maybe they don't like doing gel pedicures because gel pedicures last over a month. They are also the one a VERY FEW nail salons that does pink and white acrylics (which is sooooooo much better then a using gel nail polish in acrylic nails). They took me as a walk in and I only waited 20 mins. Not bad. I found the salon to be very large and spacious compared to the other countless nail salons around. I'm happy to say it looked clean to me. The best part is that there was ample parking. I can't speak about the other services that they provide but as far as nails are concerned they are A ++++++++++ in my book read more

I wish I could give them 0 stars - the staff is unprofessional and rude, they make rude comments about costumers and their nail polish is trash - it peels off after 2 days ... Plus their equipment does not look sterile. The only reason I went there is because I'm new to the area and was looking for something close.. Ehh. I decided to get my eye brows waxed here. They had me lay half down on this weird half table so that only your back is supported. The eyebrow waxer's hand smelled like cigarette smoke and after he waxed my eye brows, my skin started to break out around my eyes. So gross! read more

By far the best nail salon I have ever been too! I made an appointment and when I arrived I was taking in minutes. Tio is incredible, he will have you laughing the entire time you get your nails done and my nails have never looked so amazing. He listened to exactly what I wanted and made me very happy. He is gentle with the drill but also fast. I recommend this nail salon to everyone, especially to see Tio. They also have a great reward program which they keep track of in the computer so we don't have too hold on to the cards etc. read more

They are okay and the location is excellent since I cannot travel too far because of my medical conditions. However, I was upset with them at one point when my eyelashes were done poorly and they kept redoing and/or applying gel to my natural nails w/o removing everything after 3 to 4 months. I decided to go to another establishment - a Spa located in the town of Wappingers Falls where I noticed that I was the only black in the place and they left my nails soaking for 2 hours w/o anyone checking to see where I was with the process. then a tech attempted to take off the gel to redo my nails and could not even do that. The name of this est. is Dazzles Salon & Spa--it is not intended for the minority community unless you are Beyonce coming in with Nikki Minaj forgive me for the spelling (I am not into her) and I own a successful business and have several Jumbos sitting in my savings account. I say this just to say that people should not judge a person by their appearance and whether I have a business or not/Jumbos or not, Everyone is equal and when you have the funds to spend on getting groomed in this format, it should be welcomed. Therefore I decided to go back to Lucky Nail Spa and give them another chance explaining to them what went wrong. The most import advice in this review is to SPEAK UP and TIP ACCORDINGLY-EXPLAINING WHY. If I stand corrected these techs in Lucky Nail Spa stated that they are Southern Vietnamese whom we saved from the war and have received free grant (s) to open their businesses from the USA. One more thing, I hope and pray that this review has helped someone in some type of way-that was my only intent. read more

well well well.... what can i say about this business..... um. well, let me start out by saying that i and my 2 friends went for a simple mani padi and walked out with nails that needed to be redone... thanks for the waste of my time. they were friendly enough, even one of the techs made the little flip flops fit my friends tiny feet. anyway,,,, the person who worked on me seemed to be either NOT licensed or just out of school. he would take long pauses and appear to be thinking about what step was next. i never allow cutting of my cuticles.... thank god, for the nails he worked on were uneven. the only saving grace was that they all wore gloves... this lead me to believe they knew what they were doing. the nail polish was uneven and blotchy and my friend who had "nail art" on 2 of her nails was shoddy and by the time we got home had rubbed off. i did pay the bill but didn't tip. i would never go here again and i hope that other heed this review and look up this business on the interwebs and see what others have been thru. read more
