My dog was taken into the boarding area which is nice enough with heated floors. As our dog was walking through the door her little dogs came charging at him (behind fencing) and Started our dog. Then our dog was put into a kennel surrounded by 3 other kennels and my dog freaked out. So we told her this wasn't going to work and she moved him to the other side of the room which was better for him. I wasn't so sure if this was a good place for him and told her if there was any problems to call us ASAP. We called her later to check in and she said he was fine. When we returned after 7 days we found out he had been stressed all week, had diarrhea and she didn't want him back. I asked her if had had any training or any exercise outside and she said NO. I also asked her why she didn't call us because I don't want my dog going through this - she said oh I didn't think you had anyway to take him!!!! when she knew our other dog was home and we wanted Marley to come stay and get training!!! So our dog was locked up for a week - stressed out . I told her I just want my dog now - when I went in the back he was back into the kennel that was in the middle of all the other dogs - the one that he was moved out of before. I'm guessing she didn't want to walk across the room to feed him. My dog is so messed up right now due to this abuse!!!! Btw the 2 times I was there while all the dogs were stressed (due to her little dogs) she never once tried to console any of them!!! I can't imagine her being a good dog trainer seeing how she treated my dog, or the lack of empathy I saw for the other dogs there. I suppose if you just want your dogs locked in a kennel this is the place to go.

Neither of my current dogs are overly excited to go there, but one is a little princess who likes warm and comfort, and the other is a velcro dog who hates being apart from me. Neither of these things is a fault for Pet Village and once they're there, they are comfortable and happy. Our previous dog, who passed away a few years ago, got excited when we pulled up. And when he was in his final days, I brought him to Pet Village and all the staff came out to say goodbye to him. This is the best place for dogs.

They hose the floor off with water once or twice an hour. In a room of twenty dogs there are 4 dog beds, a stepped ramp and a kiddie pool. Dogs just pace back and forth while a worker stands in the room. I added on "training" thinking it would help my dogs nerves as I watched her on their webcam pace and jump up on the worker repeatedly trying to get attention or comfort. They gave her 20 minutes of "training" which doubled the cost of daycare. This is not a good environment for dogs. Also don't park anywhere near the loading dock because that is where they rinse the urine from the daycare room throughout the day. Response: As much as I appreciate a response from the owner defending their business it did not negate the reality of our experience. The pictures I posted with this review are just screen shots of the videos I recorded of my dogs experience. Maybe don't offer live webcams if you don't want people to be unhappy with the level of care and cleanliness happening in your facility.

They have a big dog room and a little dog room. My dogs are a 35-40 lbs, so they started them out in the little dog room, but now they're in the big dog room and they do great there. My only critique is I wish their webcam was better when I peak in on my dogs, but I understand that a lot of that has to do with the website's performance and really isn't up to them. It's definitely not a deal breaker though and we never have any concerns about leaving our dogs with them.

Dick was able to identify Hazel's problems immediately and right away organized a game plan to minimize her bad habits. He reiterated that training is not going to be an overnight thing, however after the first day of training , I can tell Hazel was reacting positively to the certain changes. She is still stubborn and sometimes going back to the bad habits, but I can always know that I can contact Dick if I ever need help with anything. I reached out to Dick to inform him of our loss and of Coach's subsequent problems-he got out to our new house as soon as he could, we worked him for a couple of hours this morning.
