They hose the floor off with water once or twice an hour. In a room of twenty dogs there are 4 dog beds, a stepped ramp and a kiddie pool. Dogs just pace back and forth while a worker stands in the room. I added on "training" thinking it would help my dogs nerves as I watched her on their webcam pace and jump up on the worker repeatedly trying to get attention or comfort. They gave her 20 minutes of "training" which doubled the cost of daycare. This is not a good environment for dogs. Also don't park anywhere near the loading dock because that is where they rinse the urine from the daycare room throughout the day. Response: As much as I appreciate a response from the owner defending their business it did not negate the reality of our experience. The pictures I posted with this review are just screen shots of the videos I recorded of my dogs experience. Maybe don't offer live webcams if you don't want people to be unhappy with the level of care and cleanliness happening in your facility.

" Since he seemed reluctant to schedule further training, we are seeking another trainer. One trainer I spoke to questioned whether Glen doubted he had the expertise to deal with our dog's reactivity issues?

Emily is such an enormous gift!…read more I am owner training my first ever service dog. We spent nearly a year taking constant group classes, focusing on basic obedience, novice rally and agility. I immediately task trained a couple of basics and slowly started working on public access as my puppy grew. Just prior to her one year birthday her confidence seemed to evaporate and I had no clue how to help her as I am brand new to dog training. When I reached out to Emily she responded immediately and gave me multiple options to open communication. We spoke on the phone for over 40 minutes before I ever paid a cent which really amazed me. Emily has what I would describe as a holistic approach and she is so experienced and extremely knowledgeable! Working with Emily is everything for which I hoped and more. She is very flexible working around my disabilities and we trade off handling my dog as needed. Emily explains both the body language meaning as well as how my choices are being received by my dog. She helps me understand not only what I'm doing wrong, but *why* it doesn't work and she NEVER makes me feel bad about my lack of knowledge or my mistakes. She is very encouraging and for each lesson we've talked about where my pain points are as well as when, where and how to practice plus reviewing I need to change/avoid. I've still got plenty of work to do but with Emily as a resource I'm much more confident my dog and I can get through these growing pains. Emily is extremely patient; after a spinal injury I am much slower to process new information and I have habits from decades of horse training that are coming in and are counterproductive when handling my dog. Emily shows me examples as many times as I need and always thoroughly answers *all* of my questions about what/how/when and I always feel like I not only learned a lot, but learned EXACTLY what I needed to move forward in training my dog. It's easy to see results when I apply the skills I learn from Emil resulting in drastically improved communication between myself and my dog. Emily's pricing feels extremely fair; after my first lesson I felt everything I learned was worth the price I paid for four lessons! The one on one attention and having everything catered to our needs is exactly what was necessary to help us move forward and get un-stuck with our training. It's also a huge blessing for us that Emily has so much experience with training service dogs and understands the need for my dog to know how to intelligently break commands if she needs to task. The balance between helping my puppy understand how to look to me for guidance and keeping her confident enough to task for me is tricky, particularly given my total lack of experience. Anytime I've had questions or there was a system issues she fixed it quickly with no issues. My pup Buddy absolutely loves going there. As soon as we park he gets so excited! All of the staff have been lovely to work with and seem to really enjoy the pups. I love being able to log in to my account and check the webcams and see how well Buddy is playing with his friends. Also having the report cards at the end of his time there is fabulous along with pictures of him and his friends is heart warming. He Comes home tuckered out Everytime. He could have spent half a day, a full day, or multiple days and has so much fun. He's always exhausted after his fun time at daycare. All the staff know him by name. With the pre setup appointment times it makes a very easy drop off and pick up. It is nice having a last minute option as well when a spontaneous trip comes up that he can't join us for too.

There are spots where he shaved closer than others (see pics). I would like Petco to offer some compensation, but I know I could only expect the passive, "Thanks for letting us know..." blurb. Meanwhile, I'll be finding a new groomer. I've spent all the money I'm going to spend at Petco.
