I was very disappointed with my experience. Throughout my massage, the therapist spent a large…read moreportion of the session on her phone instead of focusing on the massage. At one point, audio from what sounded like TikTok or another social media app started playing from her phone, making it obvious she was scrolling during my appointment. The massage itself felt rushed and incomplete because her attention was divided the entire time. A massage should be relaxing and professional, but this experience was anything but. To make matters worse, when the session ended, I chose not to leave a tip because I did not feel I received the service I paid for. As I was leaving, the therapist watched me from the doorway and asked why I hadn't tipped. That interaction made an already disappointing experience even more uncomfortable. Tips should reflect the quality of service, and I don't think it's appropriate to question a customer about not leaving one. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I was referred to Debi by a friend after struggling with severe hip tightness that was causing…read moreintense lower back pain. The pain was so debilitating that I couldn't even lift my laundry hamper. I was also experiencing sciatica, with pain shooting down my legs, and it had been going on for two weeks. Despite multiple visits to both a chiropractor and an acupuncturist, nothing seemed to alleviate the pain or make it even slightly more bearable. It wasn't until I visited Debi that I found real relief. She immediately noticed how tight my hips were and pinpointed issues in my posture that I hadn't even mentioned. She could even tell how I slept just by observing my posture, and she was spot on. After our session, I felt completely relaxed and, for the first time in weeks, 100% pain-free. I can't recommend Debi highly enough. If you're dealing with pain that other treatments haven't resolved, she is truly a game-changer.

Been looking all over San Diego for a massage place and I can come back to time and time again and…read moreI can confidently say that I have found it, SPECIFICALLY with a certain masseuse, Sandy. Today was my appointment with her and she is such good energy, loves her job, and has a positive attitude. Some people like to relax during their massage with no talking to fall asleep, but with the pressure I like for mine, it'd be impossible to sleep. This allowed me to have a conversation with her throughout and allowed me to get to know her. She's extremely knowledgeable and her expertise shows. I was tight around my neck, shoulders, and back and she knew exactly how to take care of me from the first touch. It's always good to have a go to person for something and I can proudly say that she will be my go to from here on out! I highly recommend and the prices are great too! Make sure to tip your masseuses well because they work hard to take care of your body.

I had airón my right heel about 7 mos ago and I told her about it before we began the massage. A few minutes into the massage, she applied waaaaaay too much pressure to my foot. So much so that I had to pull away from her. She said she forgot about my wound and apologized. I wasn't hurting too bad, so I let it slide. 2. Also prior to beginning the massage I specifically asked her to stretch my hip flexor on my left leg (over compensation from surgery on other foot). Ask me how much time she put toward what I specifically went in for...0 minutes! She was a very nice lady and I felt bad so I didn't complain, but I will never go here again and I'll tell everyone I know not to either. Honestly, the language barrier was the biggest issue. I speak 3 languages, just not hers. The least this place can do is invest in a translation app for all of their non-English speaking techs. If any one from management cares (doubt it) feel free to call me. I had the 7pm appointment on Sunday 4/19.

I decided to reach out and see if they could help with the pain and hopefully get me feeling better sooner. Going into my first appointment, I had zero expectations. I was honestly just hoping for some relief and to be able to move around without feeling like I was 90 years old . But wow, they really exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so welcoming from the moment I walked in. Dr. Jordan and Team SP took the time to listen to what happened, figure out where I was hurting, and really assess my injury. I never felt rushed or like they were just trying to get me in and out. What surprised me the most was how much better I felt after each session. I could actually feel the difference after every visit, and it gave me a lot of hope that I was finally on the right track to recovering. Because of the treatment plan they gave me, I was able to swing a golf club again and move around much more comfortably! I really appreciate how much care and attention they put into their clients. You can tell they genuinely want to help you feel better and take the time to make sure you understand what's going on. I'm really glad I decided to come here. I went in with zero expectations and ended up feeling way better than I thought I would! If you're dealing with an injury or pain and looking for a place where they actually listen to you and take the time to help, I definitely recommend coming to Sports Performance!

As a 47-year-old perimenopausal woman dealing with metabolic health issues, I came to strength…read moretraining from a very different perspective than someone who already enjoys the gym or athletics. I had never strength trained before and was honestly intimidated by the entire experience. I worried about getting injured, looking foolish because I didn't know what I was doing, and whether the effort would actually produce meaningful results. I started training with Christian in late April, and I have been genuinely surprised by the progress I've made. Physically, I've dropped a clothing size in both pants and tops, and my DEXA scans show that I've increased lean mass and bone density while losing weight in a calorie deficit, which is especially meaningful to me at this stage of life. Beyond the visible changes, I've also seen improvements in several health markers, which was one of my primary goals going into this process. For me, strength training wasn't about athletic performance--it was about improving my long-term health. One of the biggest reasons I've been successful is the coaching itself. I have low blood pressure and can become lightheaded during heavier lifts, and I also need careful attention to form and knee positioning to avoid injury while still being challenged appropriately. I don't think I would push myself safely or effectively on my own. Christian does an excellent job of finding that balance between encouragement, proper technique, and progressive overload. One of the strongest endorsements I can give is that he has developed a program tailored specifically to my goals, my health concerns, and my abilities. Over time, that has built a level of trust that allows me to focus on the work itself, knowing that each session is designed to move me safely and effectively forward. He is also genuinely passionate about what he does. Every session includes explanations about physiology, training, and conditioning, which I particularly appreciate because I came into this with almost no strength training knowledge. If you're someone who feels intimidated by the gym, is dealing with health concerns, or simply wants knowledgeable coaching that meets you where you are, I highly recommend working with Christian.
