I regret not taking any pictures but I was eager to start my massage. Everything put me at ease... the sound machine, the music, and especially the essential oils. I requested a Swedish massage because I thought the deep tissue might be too painful. At the end, Wannapa let me know that she incorporated some deep tissue pressure to help release the tension. She's a petite person with strong hands like Thanos. Her hands must possess some kind of magic because every touch hurt so damn good! The pain was so debilitating that I couldn't even lift my laundry hamper. I was also experiencing sciatica, with pain shooting down my legs, and it had been going on for two weeks. Despite multiple visits to both a chiropractor and an acupuncturist, nothing seemed to alleviate the pain or make it even slightly more bearable. It wasn't until I visited Debi that I found real relief. She immediately noticed how tight my hips were and pinpointed issues in my posture that I hadn't even mentioned. She could even tell how I slept just by observing my posture, and she was spot on. After our session, I felt completely relaxed and, for the first time in weeks, 100% pain-free. Also prior to beginning the massage I specifically asked her to stretch my hip flexor on my left leg (over compensation from surgery on other foot). As an acupuncturist, I do believe in treating your body right and giving something good back to it. This along with a good diet, exercise and perhaps some acupuncture as well, are all things that can promote good health and relaxation. Why would you want to stay stressed out? Especially at the end of the year, when things can get stressful. So if you are looking for a new place to get a massage look no further, as they do specialize in Thai style massage, but they are massage therapist, and can do all the therapeutic styles. If you are looking for more heavy and deep massage: go with Gail and Ava. The rest are less deep and heavy. The only issue i find is that the location is not so great for parking. It is metered parking, unless you are willing to walk a bit and park in the hidden parking structure across the street. But if you are ok with a little 3 minute walk out into the neighborhood, you can find some street parking.

Unfortunately, tonight's massage did not meet my expectations. My masseuse was William, and while I don't like leaving negative reviews, I did not enjoy the service. To begin with, the massage started with the blanket left over me longer than usual. The work on my back was okay at first, but as the session continued, it felt like there was little to no technique involved. Overall, it seemed more like rubbing than an actual massage. I've had many massages throughout my life, and I can tell the difference between a therapist who is experienced and one who is not. My back and shoulders were not massaged with proper technique, and there was very little attention given to my feet, arms, forearms, and hands. I was really looking forward to a full-body massage, and unfortunately, that's not what I received. I sat up, covering myself and had an awkward conversation about this and explained this should have been discussed with him before I was led to a room. I attempted to call my friend who answered but she explained she could not talk as she was at work. I showed him the form of payment and her full name on the email as this was a Birthday Gift. About 15 minutes later, after he called someone, they looked up the transaction and knew it was legitimate. It was not a comfortable experience at all. I do not recommend this place.
