We came to Lucky Cat before eating at Gordan Ramsey bar and grill next door. The vibes are very different. The staff also reflected the different atmospheres. Lucky Cat is dark and upscale. The drinks are not inexpensive, even for the area. It feels like an awesome date experience for 20 and 30 something's looking for a sexy vibe for a nice night out. Compared to the same dollar for dollar experience, I prefer Gordan Ramsey bar and grill next door (especially for the service) ....but on the right occasion, this would be a perfect spot for an elevated night out or kid free date.

Not sure what happened or who dropped the ball, but we arrived early, got sat down first, and the two tables next to us ordered the same thing and they kept getting their food first. To see the other tables get almost all 10 courses before us was a bit annoying. One of the items was out because the table next to us, got their order first. It looked like the guy knew one of the cooks, so good for him. The best part of the menu was the sushi, Wagyu, and French toast. I had high hopes for the restaurant since we traveled all the way from California to try it, but was let down. We could've gone without spending $400+

I went here with a group of colleagues. They had picked the spot, and I was looking forward to trying a Gordon Ramsay restaurant since I've never went to one before. First off, this place looks posh. Dark and sleek, I admittedly felt underdressed for the occasion. The group decided to go with the signature menu. My thoughts on the menu: SALTED EDAMAME: OK. I mean, it doesn't really change no matter where you get it. YELLOWTAIL TARTARE: Very good. I was never impressed with caviar before, but this worked for me. BABY SQUID: OK. I thought they overcooked it because it was a bit chewy. Good seasoning though. SUSHI SELECTION: Good. The fish is fresh. Not sure if the rolls were expertly prepared BONITO FRIED DUCK LEG BAO: Good. Sort of a neat spin on different asian influences. MUSHROOM TEMPURA: OK. It was a bit on the tough side. SCALLOPS: Very good. I felt this was the most elegant dish of the night. Simple ingredients prepared to perfection. KOREAN SPICED BLACK COD: OK. A different take on a miso marinated black cod, but not sure if gochujang is really an improvement RIBEYE: Very good. Cooked to a perfect medium rare. EGG FRIED RICE: OK. A bit too "wet" for a fried rice. DESSERT: OK. They had run out of their original dessert, so they substituted with another apple cake dessert that was ok. Service was pretty good. Attentive and professional, so no complaints Overall, I was OK with the meal. Some dishes were more successful than others. Was it worth the cost? No, not really.

Obviously, the first attraction is the location and the view. What an incredible experience. Having watched many Gordon Ramsey shows, it was imperative that I eat at one of his establishments. If Lucky Cat is an indication of the quality and ambiance, sign me up for more of these. Everything I had on the special lunch menu was superb. See picture for my express lunch option of the salted edamame, Umi, and for dessert, mochi. Having eaten in down home to 5 star restaurants, this rates with the best.

I went on a mission to eat here, even though one exists here in Miami. With that being said, let's start with the positives; top notch customer service! The ambiance is nice to go solo, on a date or with a group. Very clean and beautiful spot that has great attention to detail. When it came to the meal, I thought it could've been more fresh as it pertains to the temperature of the meal and what you got for 35 pounds. The bento box had rice that was crunchy and soft. The edamame needed to be cooked slightly less, to add the crunch factor. The flavors were a 5/5 but the temperature lacked and that's (along with my earlier statement) why my overall review was a 4/5. I would still return. Check them out and enjoy!

I'm going to need more stars for this one. Wow! Set a reservation about two months ahead of time considering it would be Christmas / Hanukkah. We showed up about 20 min early but they were able to seat us immediately. We were created by our server for the choice of still or sparking water then immediately approached by someone else for our drinks. We ordered several items off the menu. Kyoto cucumbers, tomatoe salad, sashimi, lo lobster bster roll, egg fried rice, GFC chicken and then the ribeye. Highly recommend the sashimi. That was some of the. Est I have ever had. The tuna melted in your mouth. The egg fried rice is a must as it is one of their signature dishes. The entire meal was amazing. We topped it off with dessert as well. This is a fantastic restaurant and I would highly recommend.

What an amazing view! We ordered the signature tasting. The food was just ok...the tartare stole the show from our table(6 of us total). We do recommend the sea bass, tempura mushrooms, the rib eye was good but the sauce was not good. There was a 25 minute gap in the delivery of our food. @Gordon Ramsey not sure if the quality of the food was not to the best quality due to who seemed to be the chef visiting this table 3 times. Overall the food was not worth the price and we could have gotten the same view from the Shard!

We didn't have reservations so we had drinks and apps in the bar area. The bar area itself is worth the visit. First off it had a very cool vibe, live DJ, moody feel and an Asian lounge feel. There's a small bar snack menu and full bar. We got the pea guacamole and the California roll. Both were very tasty. Our drinks included an aperol spritz and cosmopolitan. The views were spectacular, you can see all sides of the city from the bar located on the 60th floor! So happy we stopped in, a sexy, slick place for seriously good drinks and great small bites.

My boyfriend and I came to London to visit for a few days, and we were very eager to try Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. Of course, Gordon Ramsay has incredibly high standards for how a restaurant should run, so we were both curious to see what it's like. We signed up for the Omakase experience and they sat us in the appropriate section at the sushi bar. The waiter gave us menus, which confused my partner and I, and we kindly explained that we were here for the Omakase experience and probably wouldn't need a menu. She seemed confused and insisted that we look at the menu, so my partner and I ordered the Chef's Table, thinking it's as close to omakase as we can get, and we're still open for a good time. Throughout the night we both ordered drinks, and when the waiter asked if I would like another and I said yes, she came back with a drink that was clearly not the drink I ordered already. At this point my partner and I are bemused that the restaurant is messing up so badly, and another waitstaff comes over and apologizes for the incorrect drink and brings back another drink that is also, clearly, not the drink I originally ordered. The food itself was pretty good, but unfortunately not comparable in quality to the other restaurants we ate at during our trip. Two thirds of the way through our meal, a staff member who appeared to be the floor manager or a higher supervisor notices us and asks us if we're here for the omakase. We explain that we were, and he asks us if we would still like the Omakase. We politely decline because the Chefs Table is an enormous amount of food and also pretty expensive, but he tries to insist. After we decline again, he offers one free meal voucher for the next time we visit. Now, I don't know if there are other ways to compensate an incorrect meal, but my partner and I both have American accents and I can't help but wonder if he made that offer knowing we were tourists. The final critique I have is that the bathrooms are not advertised as same sex. I was really startled when my partner came over and washed his hands next to me, and I think I would've been a little nervous if it was a man I didn't know. I have no issues with same sex bathrooms, but I do wish it was advertised. There was also a restroom attendant, and from what I know they are supposed to offer you a hand towel and you tip them for their service. This attendant did not make eye contact, smile, or talk. Everyone has bad days, but I thought it was a little odd. Overall, I had a good time but only because I enjoy being anywhere with my partner. We both agreed it was a bad experience but it makes for a fun story because Gordon Ramsay is known for being so critical of restaurant management. I don't know if Lucky Cat is always like this, or if there was new staff, but the stacked mistakes and the inefficient staff seemed inappropriate for the price we paid. I hope my story helps out anyone who is interested in dining here at least!

    Wonderful wine selection

Food was incredible, service was beyond, drinks were well thought out with the Somelier... live music was well received and enjoyed by all and the server Derek was truly a gem!!!

In a related and very lovely gesture, the server brought me a complimentary mutton roll (with chilli ketchup) and said they usually send something on the house for solo diners :) The roll was delicious -- savoury mutton without a strong game-y flavour that went really nicely with the mildly spicy ketchup. I decided to have an order of the Lankan chicken kari paired with a hopper. I did not know what a hopper was before then (let alone seen one), so it was an interesting surprise when I was served this unevenly thick, bowl-shaped rice pancake. Fortunately, I did not go wrong with this choice, as the hopper was so delicious. The light rice-based flavour of the hopper paired so nicely with the rich, slightly spicy curry and the tender and savoury chicken, and I really liked the textural variety of the hopper itself (thicker, spongier base and thinner, crispier sides). The ratio of hopper to curry was not quite right, though, so I ended up ordering another roti to enjoy the remaining half of my curry and chicken. The roti was really delicious -- fluffy on the inside and perfectly crispy on the outside -- and similarly paired super well in carrying the curry flavour. All in all, price point was pretty solid for the quality and amount of food. I thought the hopper was pricier than expected, but conversely the curry was less so -- so overall it all seemed quite reasonable. I would love the chance to come visit again and try more of their deliciously fragrant curry options next time.

The place was quite busy, and interestingly, the same person taking orders was also cooking. It's a very small setup--definitely not meant for dining in. The vibe is more like "grab your food and head out." We ordered chicken egg fried rice and chicken chow mein. Watching the food being cooked right in front of us was fascinating--quick, high heat, and full of action. Once we got our order, we sat outside to eat. The first thing I noticed was that the food was quite oily. More disappointing, though, was that I couldn't find any chicken in my fried rice--even though I had paid extra for it. I went back, showed them, and asked if chicken had been added. They bluntly said "yes" and didn't bother to check further, which was frustrating That said, the food itself tasted good overall. It's just that the oiliness and the lack of proper service took away from the experience. I wouldn't say I won't visit again--it feels more like an off day--but I was definitely expecting better service.
