Never in my life did I EVER witness this crap. I'll describe this crap in a minute. Let me tell u, before I gave this one star today I actually liked this place. I'm the one who chose to eat here this morning/afternoon. I wanted their hoagie that I could take with me to work. The food is usual so good from here like omg. I'm so upset what went down today. I'm on my break and decided to take out the hoagie. I had a bologna and American cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato. Let me add, I bought this food with my very own money. I was appalled, upset, mad, also disgusted. There was a bug sitting right in my soggy sandwich. I already didn't want it cuz it was soggy. Then I saw that. Never again will I be back. The food became trash. Why would I want anything else from them. They don't have my trust anymore.

Western Omelette

Service was really great here, she even suggested I call in beforehand instead of ordering online. Unfortunately, I really wanted home fries with my omelette but it was hash browns, which should be undated. My ham omelette was not incorporated with the ham and veggies, it was folded in the middle, which is not my preference. Maybe I'll come again but only for their lunch as I've heard better things about.

My sandwich was good ah. It reminded me of a bodega cheesesteak from when I was a kid and that's exactly the kind of sandwich I've been looking for. They use real cheese (not cheese whiz) which I appreciate. I'd be sure to ask for extra cheese next time though. I'm not sure if they cheated me with the cheese or if I just really wanted more cheese.

Good deli for great breakfast platters and big fat sandwiches at lunch time. Great onion rings and fries, huge menu just choose from. Super friendly staff and usually pretty quick once you order.

Chopped Cheese....Not bad for it not being From NY. Could've had more cheese and been better seasoned, BUT, the portion size, bread and meat quality, and overall flavor was good. Would order again definitely!

Am I too proud to admit I have eaten food from this establishment thrice in the last week? No. I am not too proud. Lucky 7 and I were introduced a week ago, at a baby shower in the conference room at work. We ordered wraps from one of the local supermarkets, but one of my coworkers, "concerned about processed meat," hahahahaha, said she was going bring some additional food, so there would be some healthy options. She said this without irony, by the way. She showed up with 30 pieces of fried chicken from Lucky 7. I grabbed a leg and after the first bite, wish that I had chosen a breast instead. While it was a reasonably small crowd at the baby shower, the fried chicken was demolished in short order. So were the wraps, but the chicken vanished first. I know you are dying to know how I wound up back here twice after the baby shower, but first allow me to describe the chicken: the skin and coating were so perfectly crunchy...a tender crunch, nicely seasoned. And the meat itself was juicy and flavorful. The baby shower was fun, and the custom cake was lovely, but everyone kept talking about the fried chicken in the days that followed. I mentioned the chicken to my son when I got home; he is picky, in case you have never read my reviews. Frustratingly so. Restaurant options are limited because of this, even among popular convenience foods. So I was surprised when he expressed an interest in trying Lucky 7's fried chicken. We headed to Lawrenceville on Sunday, and he wanted to eat there, even though the establishment itself is similar to a 7-11/Wawa with a couple of uninviting tables in the back corner. The staff members were nice and helpful, and offered advice on other food items to order, but were a little surprised to hear we wanted to eat in (part of my son's motivation was that he wanted to get ice cream at Halo Farm afterward, and didn't want the chicken to get cold in the car while we shopped). We received some napkins and plastic cutlery, but no plates. It was an uncivilized meal, but there are no regrets. We ordered an 8 piece bucket, bacon cheese fries, and wings. My growing child ate 4 pieces of bucket chicken, sampling one piece of the available anatomy. His chicken experience prior to this visit was limited to fast food nuggets, and wings, so I was impressed with his appetite. He also ate all of the wings, and most of the fries. His dad checked in while we were tearing up the chicken, and asked us to bring him a 20 piece bucket, which he loved too. On this occasional, I had a breast and thigh, and picked at the fries, and I was very happy with my meal. I would not recommend eating there, though, but that isn't a criticism: the place really isn't set up for it. There's a bathroom in back, at least, so you can hose off some of the grease and sauce when your belly is sated. Work - baby shower aside - has been exhausting and I did not feel like cooking and cleaning last night and I asked my son what he wanted, and I knew he wanted more Lucky 7. We over-ordered, but he wanted some leftovers for tonight too. He chose a half cheesesteak, more cheese fries, jalapeño poppers, and 4 pieces of chicken, a la carte: wings and legs (his favorite). The clerk on our previous visit raved about the subs, so I ordered a turkey and cheese. This was - duh - a lot of food. But even more than one might expect. The half cheesesteak was the size of a whole from other places in the area. He said it wasn't quite as good as Meatheadz (his favorite cheesesteak establishment), but he wolfed down half of his sandwich (technically a quarter) in a blink. He ate all of his chicken, some of the fries, and one popper. I ate a popper too - it was just fine, as far as poppers go. I was very impressed with my sub - I ordered the large, figuring I'd have food for a few meals. It is not only long, but it was densely packed with meat. The sandwich was $12, and weighed about the same amount of pounds, and it made me wonder how on earth anyone in NJ could ever go to Subway? My only comments would be that my sub needed more vinegar (I admittedly like a vinegary sandwich, but in this case, whatever vinegar that was added was lost in the poundage of deli meat), and cheese (same general sentiment - a bit more cheese would have balanced the meat pile). Good news is that the sandwiches can be customized, so next time I'm back I'll know to order extra vinegar and extra cheese. The bread was nice - good quality bakery loaf. And the cold cuts are top notch too - Boar's Head and Land o' Lakes. My son said the cheesesteak would have benefited with a little more cheese, as well. I didn't try it to corroborate, but I trust him. Again, we know for next time. Lucky 7 may need a bit more cheese in its offerings, but I can't complain about a place that is all about the meat! Excellent value for the price! We'll probably be back in a few days!

They charged me for lettuce and tomato and clearly my sandwich don't have any... not the first time..

Half of the Reuben sandwich

OMG! I got a Reuben sandwich that was the best I've ever had! The corned beef and rye bread were fresh. It must have had a pound of meat on it (the way I like it). You can barely taste the meat with other restaurants. This was outstanding! My husband had a burger and fries. Again, lots of food and very tasty. We have a new "go to" deli.

The other reviewers are right. This Lucky 7 Deli on Princeton Avenue, Lawrenceville, NJ, is more than it appears to be from the exterior. In addition to the expected convenience store, the operators have put in a small kitchen (grill) and dining area for folks who want to have a hot breakfast or lunch on the premises. It is all very basic, with industrial strength tables and chairs, but the cook seems to know what he is doing, and turns out decent grub. My sausage, egg and cheese on kaiser roll, was a double egg and sausage patty job with a single slice of American. The roll wasn't so good and lacked texture and taste, but the runny fried eggs and meat offset that shortcoming. Too, they brew New England Coffee beans - a better than average large roaster/distributer. While the joint lacks in the comfort department, my breakfast was delivered to the table by the manager/cashier with a smile, and the purpose of my visit was met satisfactorily. I wouldn't come here on a date, nor even a business meal, but a quick stop by is well within its parameters. They mention fried chicken on the outside sign, but didn't see any within to be able to evaluate its look and quality. Maybe another time.

Egg and cheese, over medium with and extra egg!

Love this place...great value for a lot of food...and the food is GOOD! The girls that work the registers in the morning are Awesome! They are friendly and know probably 80% of the people that come here by name. Lunch sandwiches and salads are HUGE and inexpensive. It is a great spot for breakfast and lunch if you are in the area, even though from the outside it may seem like just a corner store/deli it's much more inside. From what I've heard the fried chicken is supposed to be great as well...not really my favorite thing to eat, but this has been confirmed by multiple people I have spoken to about Lucky 7. Stop in for some food sometime, I don't think you will be disappointed...may want to call ahead as they get crazy busy during prime feeding times!

What a cute little deli. This is right near the Hamilton train station. If you don't know about it,…read moreyou won't even see it. My friend told me about it and we went this morning to get a sausage, egg and cheese on a Kaiser roll. It was probably one of the best sandwiches we've had. It's this quaint little deli attached to their home. I think. Think. They carry thumans deli meats. They had an amazing looking raspberry crumb cake. I just didn't have it in me to try it today. Another day. They have different types of snacks and beverages. They also carry lottery tickets. Definitely going to come here to try another one of their sandwiches and possibly the crumb cake.

I was looking at nearby places for lunch (that aren't franchise swill) and came upon this gem. A tiny little deli in a residential neighborhood. The owner, Don, was listening to baseball on the radio. I introduced myself and asked if he could make me an italian hoagie. He said "sure." Generous portions of cold cuts, fresh veggies and peppers on a good long roll. Excellent. With a drink and chips, it came to $7. Great value too. They do all your basic hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, dogs, fries and sides. They also do good old egg breakfast sandwiches. And he does a list of specials that changes every day. I held off on 5 stars since it's only my first visit. I told him I'd be back. Score!
