Unpleasant surprise today. After 7 years of steady business with Pittman for maintenance, as well…read moreas completely new HVAC system and later a Reme Halo air purifier, got a previously undisclosed $140 evaluation fee when no repair was found to be needed on Halo unit. Was told that this fee applies to all jobs, large and small. We live less than five miles from Pittman's office, and evaluation took about 10 minutes ... but we still get the same fee as for million-dollar homes surrounding the area's posh lake communities? Does not sound reasonable or fair. Guess we need a new electrician for those annual maintenance calls and major equipment installs, since Pittman doesn't seem to care about retirees on limited budgets.

The issue I had was that Brendon was non responsive to my requests to fix the issue. Additionally, I had not received an invoice for the work completed to include receipt for the purchase of the heater. I left numerous text messages with no response and phone calls indicated my number had been blocked. Brendon answered my call when I called from a different number. Brendon was able to cash my check but was too busy to provide requested documentation of my service call. I would have paid Brendon to come back out to fix the issue with the heater but I was so disappointed in his lack of follow through and common decency in communication with a customer that I would not recommend him to anyone. This is not how you operate a business.
