I did at the recommendation of a neighbor. They sent a young man the day after I called, fixed the two pipes under my sink and a leaking drain pipe under the house which came down from the toilet. John Michael was the young man who did the work. He seemed to do a good job (time will tell.) He was mannerly and professional, completed the work expeditiously - in about 45 minutes. Then he socked me with a $600 invoice. I couldn't believe my eyes. I know plumbing work is high, but I was expecting a $250 - $300 expense. I will not be calling them again.

They're good people, and that's understandable. So I found Smith Plumbing Solutions on Yelp. I called them first thing in the morning. I asked if they could come out that day. A nice lady said she thought they could, so they would call me 30 minutes before they'd arrive. I asked about their price and it sounded reasonable. Sure enough, a few hours later I got a call from one of their plumbers, Josh, who said he was on his way. Josh and Brandon were very nice young men who did an outstanding job, very quickly and in a clean manner. We couldn't have been happier with their service and the experience. It's nice to have another great plumber when we need help. PS. The office called us the day after the work was done to ensure our project went well. We appreciated that too. Nice people. Sure makes everything easier.

It was a different tech and ended up being quite a different experience. (The tech was nice, professional, and punctual.) Without typing out the whole fiasco experience, let's just say we won't be calling them back again. We were extremely disappointed since we were hoping to find a regular go to plumber for anything in the future. The problem is hopefully, permanently fixed but after we were told to buy the replacement kit/part which ended up being a faulty spigot and couldn't be returned because the technician took the box, the final 3rd trip, a $400.+ bill not counting the cost of the kit we ordered, and last but not least a very arrogant, rude co-owner who wouldn't let you get a word in.........well let's just say the pictures should speak for themselves. It was a lot of money for sloppy "shoddy" work. A spigot that's not the same as the original one we purchased/ordered, that's not flush with the tub and obviously angled down, and now 2 cutouts in the closet. Oh and look at the picture at what happened to the hot/cold plate that the Tech soldered. He never said a word about the damage. We didn't notice it right away. We had to replace it also ourselves. We can't honestly say that this was a good experience at all. A senior citizen retiree nightmare. Now we have to somehow either caulk the awkward wide gap ourselves or call a different plumber to fix this mess. We're not made of money and we sure don't think people are these days.
