They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and offered great design suggestions to make the space both functional and beautiful. The crew was punctual, kept the area tidy throughout the entire project, and finished the job on time. The quality of the work is outstanding--our bathroom looks like something out of a magazine! The new shower, custom cabinetry, and modern lighting have completely transformed the space. I especially appreciated the communication; I always knew what was happening at each step of the process. If you're looking for a reliable and talented team to remodel your bathroom, I highly recommend CK Homes. We'll definitely be calling them for our next project!

To be clear, I did *not* use this company. So I cannot speak to their work. The gentleman who came…read moreout to do the estimate was kind, professional, and gracious. My issue is that their estimate (for a small ~100 -140 sf area), which was submitted and was *DOUBLE* the other 3 estimates. And for clarity, the other 3 estimates had "minimums" as well. I simply perceive that their minimum is quite high, relatively speaking. They may very well have done a good job. Again the gentleman who came to review the project certainly was a very kind, gracious, and professional. My review is only to remind you, the customer, to get *multiple* estimates.

Finally I located Ron, a referral from a local realtor. He was very professional, came out when he said he would, ensured that we were in agreement on the material and started the job very quickly. The job ended up a few hundred more than the original quote by the other person but hey, it is done and done well .

Hired RGA Construction to extend my exiting retaining wall by seven feet. They completed the job…read moreOctober 7, 2024. The new extention looked very nice and matched the old wall so we were happy with the results - until it began to rain. Water began to seep under the wall and within a few months had created a channel under the wall. Water, mud and gravel began to wash into our neighbor's yard. It has gotten worse every time it rains. I contacted the owner of RGA Construction on April 1, 2025 asking if he could look at it and let me know what might be done to remedy the problem. He replied that he would come by on Friday April 4th. He never showed up. He never contacted me. I have asked him four time since then if and when he could come have a look and he has completely ignored me. He has not responded at all. In my last message on May 12, I mentioned that I would prefer to deal directly with him and hoped that he would stand behind his work. Still, no reply at all. I finally wrote up a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. He ignored their questions as well. It is no surprise that RGA currently has just a D+ rating with the Better Business Bureau of Upstate South Carolina. RGA Construction simply does not care about the quality of their work or about customer satisfaction or about their reputation as a responsible business. It is very frustrating trying to deal with a business that just doesn't care.

At 80 years old, this was a hard endeavor for me. But when the 3 painters came the first morning, they set my mind at ease. It was like 3 angels came in and made everything okay. They laid tarps on all the floors, explained what they were going to do and set my mind at ease. Their kindness and patience with me was very much appreciated. Aside from this, their painting was beautiful and professional. Pictures were taken of the area to be painted. They moved what needed to be moved then returned to the same place according to their photo. Nothing broken and all handled with gentle respect. Everyday before they left, it was total cleanup. Leaving my home livable until they returned the next morning. I can't say enough good things about my experience and how easy it turned out to be. I'm left with a beautiful freshly painted house and all my worries put aside. Thank you to everyone at Matkins for a great experience and a beautiful looking home.

Greg and Chris did outstanding work throughout the painting process. They took a great deal of care in removing the cabinet doors and drawer faces and moving them outside for sanding and painting. They paid a lot of attention in keeping the dust to a minimum while working on the frames inside the kitchen and keeping the work area in general neat and orderly. We are very impressed with the quality of the finish on the cabinets. They really do look like new with a factory pain job. Excellent quality work. Greg and Chris kept us informed throughout the process and cleaned up before they left. Couldn't be happier with the finished product and the level service we received. Would highly recommend these guys for any kind of painting work.

We had them provide an estimate to paint window shutters on the outside of the house and decided to…read morego with them for the project. The estimate indicated that they would clean and prepare the surface of the shutters prior to painting and then paint. When I went outside to observe the work, I noticed that he was not preparing the surface prior to painting but simply applying the paint over the dirty shutters. When questioned, he indicated that he was taking a microfiber cloth and wiping the shutters prior to painting? That was not cleaning the surface at all! I anticipate that we will have to repaint the shutters again in 3-4 years due to his poor quality of work. When I informed the office manager of the dissatisfaction, she did refund 50% of the cost as compensation. I will be reluctant to call them in the future but options seem to be limited in the area.
