I…read morecan't trust most reviews because I had bad experience dealing with the companies or restaurants with high reviews. However, I highly recommend Cristian. My home gas was shut down by Peoples gas due to some leakage issue. I contacted several contractors from big companies or individual ones. Either they came to inspect and all gave me ridiculously high quote, or they gave very bad solution such as cut all pipes and replace everything, which is absolutely disaster. Some contractors won't be able to make time for me and they won't come over to look until a week later. Cristian contacted me when he saw me asking for help and quote on Yelp. Honestly in the beginning I was little hesitant about going with him because I don't see any review and I don't know much about his work. But he was very professional, telling me that he could go right away to inspect and provided me a reasonable pricing instantly. As soon as I paid the deposit, he started to work on the second day. It took him several days to finish the work but I am happy with his service. There are lots of handyman out there but honestly I don't have great experience with most of them. Some handyman intentionally rose the price because they saw where my house is located. The leakage was fixed and peoples gas pass the test; Cristian said he gives 12 months guarantee so anything related gas happens, he will come over to fix. He fixed the hole where he opened up to fix the pipe, and the wall looks the same, nothing can be noticed. I would highly recommend Cristian and I will continue to use his service if there's any issue.

It does not heat up. They have been notified and initially promised to send someone to repair it. No one came. All attempts to contact them, including the company's owner Michael Sokolovsky have since gone unanswered. The temperature has dipped to 55° in my home. I am a senior citizen who is suffering with congestive heart failure, high blood pressure atrial fibrillation as well as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and rheumatoid arthritis . It's hard for me to get around much less dealing with inadequate heat. I find their inactions incomprehensible and I can't imagine why they don't fix this. I paid $5,100 cash out of pocket thinking they'll do a great job. Quite the opposite. In fact, they did such a shoddy job of installing it that they left cracks and holes in my wall allowing outside air to flood into my home. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Illinois attorney general consumer fraud bureau. My advise is to stay as far away from them as possible.

In my case, a faulty water heater needing to be replaced. The Good: incredibly responsive, tried to troubleshoot over the phone and worked to visit the immediate next day. The (Real) Bad: they price gouged me in a time of peril. Unacceptable. Knowing I was up against the ropes, they charged me what was nearly 3.5 times a normal charge for a water heater replacement! I asked for them to be more accommodating on the quote but came back with 'nothing we can do'. I guess they assumed I'd pay that exorbinant price. I didn't. I got quotes from two other responsive plumbers which proved Plumbing Department was attempting to gouge me. I'm glad I went elsewhere. It's a shame they have such speedy, friendly initial support, but followed it with egregious quotes. Hope they can do better in the future. UPDATE: spoke with owner, Jeff, to discuss the experience. To provide further details underscoring the notable pricepoint disparity: Plumbing Department - install Bradford White water heater with licensed, bonded and insured company Other Plumber Quotes at 3-3.5x less - install a Rheems Performance water heater from licensed, bonded, and insured company. I have no qualms with how Jeff chooses to operate and appreciated their initial support, but found the pricepoints for the install, at a moment of peril, arresting and glad I didn't settle with what was clearly an elevated pricepoint.
