I called the # and to my surprise the owner Enrique picked up. He was responsive and confirmed he would be able to come today for an estimate. He arrived around 5:30pm and he and his coworker grinded straight for 2 hours. They shoveled and pick-axe'd through grass, dirt and tree roots to find the sprinkler flooding. They re-piped the damaged pipe and cleaned up the mess. They fixed the flooding and also repaired a few other broken sprinkler heads. They were efficient and the price was very competitive. We originally had recurring lawn and shrub trimming for our front yard, but due to a lack of detail and inconsistent quality, we scaled it back to lawn-only. Our shrubs were often chopped in odd ways, as if the trimmers were run through them quickly and haphazardly. We eventually decided it was better to maintain our bushes and shrubs ourselves. The lawn mowing and edging are generally good, but we were really disappointed to find that the trunks of our young perimeter shrubs had been damaged. It seems that because the mower couldn't fit, an edge trimmer was used around the trunks, but without enough care, resulting in deep nicks to the thin bark. Another example of poor attention to detail.
