Marcus did a great jobs on my yard. When I initially reached out to him, I was facing a considerable issue with weeds, overgrown trees, and a substantial buildup of leaves that required attention. Marcus approached the job with remarkable skill and efficiency, performing a comprehensive cleanup that included not just collecting all the debris but also removing it. His work has genuinely changed my outdoor area, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. The price was fair as well. read more

I sent out requests to help with yard work at my parents' home and Marques came back with the best quote. We worked out a deal and I was excited to get the work done. The day came and he sent a message that he could not come over as his child was ill and his wife was out of town. OK, I understand. Next day came and no word and no show. I sent a message and he responded that he didn't have anyone to watch his son. He never reached out until I messaged him. Day three came and I messaged to ask if he was coming....no response. Appointed time arrived and no show. I am sorry but if you commit to a job, I expect you to honor your end of the arrangement. I did read the reviews and saw that others had similar concerns. I addressed this with Marques and he said he always shows up. After day three of not showing up I said I would be leaving a negative review. This was an instance of this being too good to be true. I cannot recommend his service because he didn't honor his end of the agreements read more

Would definitely use his services again! read more

5 stars and beyond. Excellent communication, came on time, super friendly and thorough. We moved into a condo with a yard that had dead flowers and tons of weeds. We kept looking at it like 'should we bother even trying?' and eventually decided on - no, we'll get a pro to do it. Marques is also knowledgeable and has great cleanup technique. He gave me some ideas on what to put in and he's affordable as well as communicative via text. Happy with the experience, plan to schedule him in the future and you should too! read more

10/10! We had a cubic yard of old landscape rock that we needed removed and he came next day and got the job done in under 2 hours. He was so helpful! read more

Let me start this one off as real as you can get. Marques quoted me a job from pictures. Was more than willing to come out and work in this inferno heat (102°) with zero complaints. The man showed up on time, was prompt, cordial, and easy to speak with. My lawn was insane (had not been mowed since January when I broke my foot) Marques jumped right into it, weed wacked it down to a low level, hit it with the mower. Then he went after the bushes hiding in the grass. Gone. Happily. Some of the heavier brush he was able to tackle and toss in my green bins. He was able to get it all chopped down and loaded up. Good guy. I will definitely be using him in the future (as soon as we get the grass seeded and growing green again read more

We are so happy we found a Gardner who did a great clean up job and we will continue to employ Marques in future. His quote was very reasonable, he communicated instead of simply not showing up on time, and was very kind even though our backyard and front looked like a jungle. He also was able to fit everything into the one green bin, I thought he was going to run out of room. He even weeded areas I didn't even ask for! It was wonderful! Thank you, for responding Marques and I appreciate your work! read more

His work is good enough, but his communication and reliability is terrible. I regularly waited 4-6 weeks between services, even though he was supposed to be coming every two weeks. The last few months I didn't hear from him unless I texted him. Then after waiting three weeks he finally let me know that he isn't going to come any more. Riverside is too far, even though it's in the area listed on Yelp. read more

After the torrential downpours the IE experienced this past winter, my front and back yards were covered with weeds. I tried to pull them myself but became overwhelmed because it seemed like every time I pulled one three more would sprout up the next day! I'm so grateful to have found Marques from Simple Lawn Care. He arrived on time and was kind and attentive to my concerns. He removed every weed from the yard and took time to spray weed killer to prevent any other weeds from sprouting up. I appreciate his work ethic and the results! I would DEFINITELY recommend this company to others in the future. read more

The job was Cleaning out the huge weeds that grew in my large back yard this winter. The estimate was a fair price and the completed work was totally terrific, including the cleanup, which in my experience, a lot of yard people fall short on. Everything was raked up and hauled away, leaving my back yard looking better than it has ever looked!! I could not be more pleased! read more

I actually didn't retain services from this business, but I would have if not for another landscaper working on a house down the street that had time to squeeze me in promptly. I was impressed by how quickly this business responded to me, it was less then two hours. I made an appointment for lawn service for a rental house in Highland. Marcus arrived and started complaining about the weeds that were under the chain-link fence. I explain to him that's why I am hiring a gardener to take care of this area and the lawn. He was saying you have weed here you have weeds there. So I asked him if you don't wanna do the job just let me know I'll get somebody else. He said he didn't want the job I said fine and he went on his way. Sometimes I don't understand people isn't that what gardeners do cut weeds and mow lawns and maintain the yards. Disappointed and surprised! read more

I highly recommend not paying people in advanced. Other reviews indicate that Marcus does a good job. And I am happy to see that, maybe old boy found Jesus. And that is a very good thing. It's good one can realized that one can make more money by actually doing consistent good work and not as some by lying, stealing, and cheating people. Like I told you before Marcus, I still will be praying for you. And it looks like it helped. Isn't God good? read more
