We are switching pediatricians because of it. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone to make an appointment or ask about an appointment/ meds etc. their hold machine goes for 15 min before it goes to voicemail. Then no one must check the voicemail because I've never gotten a call back. I've literally been on hold for 2 hours total yesterday, and going on a half an hour today plus a voicemail. All to make an appointment because my newborn is having diarrhea.

She has a very open and fun personality which makes it easy yo talk to her. She explains everything very well and makes sure the kids feel heard as well. She knew what was in the charts, had the history of my kids straight and was very smart about dealing with the numerous issues my older daughter developed. I can not count the times I had to contact her to get advice or help with something. She would ALWAYS answer within less then 24 hours and would have an answer ready. She would not hesitate to give assistance even when it was a lot of work to write something. She was such a pillar to lean on while my by now teenaged daughter was struggling a lot with mental health and other issues. Dr. Micky has been a strong part of our network we've built to keep our kids healthy. Unfortunately our insurance situation changed so we can't keep her any longer. I will say, I never thought we would have needed to see him for anything other than well exams, which my daughter actually looked forward to. I am happy to say that my primary care provider, Dr. Shirvanian listens and for me, that's a very important thing and something I look for when I choose a physician. She sits and spends time with me during my appointment. She asks questions, answers my questions, and offers thoughtful and helpful advice - she genuinely cares. Her nurse, is just as caring and pleasant. Other thoughts about my experience: - Provide a list of your meds if you're a new patient. - Front office reception and in-house lab are staffed with friendly, ready-to-help professionals. (They really ARE nice.) - Parking is NOT validated and is expensive; look for street parking if you have time to spare. - Online access to your records (not sure if it's ALL records) through MyChart, so you'll see your lab results, medications, have the capability to message your physician, etc. **A quick note about messaging through MyChart.
