Because of the time, I figured the desserts would have been heated. They were not. They were cut and packaged "as is" which meant the cinnamon rolls were room temp and the cake was refrigerator cold. They've really built up the area with an apartment, restaurants, nail salon, etc. There's garage, valet and street parking available. The parking garage used to be free back then. Flower & Cream has two other locations at the Post Houston downtown and Holcombe. I've also been to the Post location several times. A scoop of ice cream whether in a cup or cone (sugar or waffle) have increased in price over the years at all artisan ice cream shops. I love ice cream, even on a cold day. I've had their kiddie size, one scoop and 2 scoops in a cup. Lately, I find that the kiddie size is good enough. They pack it up and pile it high. I do love a sugar or waffle cone, but it can get messy and drip. Flower & Cream makes their waffle cones and konery cones in house. It always smells so good at the order window. I've tried a few ice cream flavors, but my absolute favorite is the Biscoff cookie butter with speculoos ice cream and pieces of Biscoff cookies. You can also be creative and add toppings for extra. They offer gluten free, vegan and dairy free options. There's something for everyone. Come check this ice cream shop out, and hang out at the park in the center!
