My sister and I went to the terrarium class last week. I was disappointed how the owner, Brittany, made me feel. She emphasized to me that the chairs were cracked and to be very careful with them. Even going as far as to ask me if I preferred for her to switch out a sturdier chair for me. Ok, I am not a thin person, but certainly she has seen other people that are big in her lifetime. There was another big person at the class, but she only warned me about her cracked chairs. The vessels for the terrariums were really extra small. I managed to get the only normal sized bowl. My sister had to get a tiny one. For $40 the vessels should have been bigger. Or allow you to make two. Brittany asked everyone what was the first step to put together a terrarium and I said the rocks. She said no, it is the sand. The brochure she handed out at the end of the night also said to start with a base of rocks. If you want to have customers, be prepared to have all shapes, sizes and colors. If you are not open to that, do not expect return customers. I love this kind of stuff but I will not be back. Can't stop thinking how she made me feel like I was so huge, her chairs would break. I was so disappointed in the company. I planned to come last Friday with my granddaughter. I paid ahead of time and was confirmed. We drove an hour in the rain to get there and 30 minutes before it started they sent me a cancelation notice. They said they had booked a large group and forgot about it. We were in the parking lot getting ready to go in and there was no big party starting. This was my test with my granddaughter and then had planned to bring all 20 folks from my department. I go to many of these arts markets year round and especially around the holidays. They're always a good time, but I have to say this may be one of the best I've been to. Usually they are held at Summer or Winter street, and I think this one was a bit easier to navigate and had plenty of space. They had great vendors, including vegan cake I got to sample! Bravado Spice was there sampling and selling hot sauces, the music was good, vendors were super friendly and there was some impressive art! It was great to see David there passing out yelp swag . I also may have been convinced to enter my mom's old comics that she drew as a teenager in this year's Zinefest. I'll keep you all posted! read more

It was definitely worth it to swing by on a Sunday afternoon. We probably didn't spend more than 20 minutes there and we were able to walk through the entire venue. A few things caught my attention for more than a glance, but maybe you will be more pleasantly surprised than I was. This is a well worth while experience to go to. They have food, music and most importantly, amazing art. The sugar scrub and spicy mayo were pretty amazing. And also a booth for $2 photo prints is a pretty good deal. This is a good place to take artsy photos read more
