Not once have I ever had a complaint or issue with this establishment's work. So you can imagine my surprise and dismay when upon looking this place up to conduct my obligatory Yelp check in, I find that they only have one star from ONE review. Yeah. Take that one with a grain of salt, because I'm about to give you guys the real skinny on Pit Stop. Pit Stop is the place you come to get your service done on the spot; get in and get out. That's it. This isn't a Firestone where you may end up dropping off your vehicle for hours at a time because the repair or service needed may require a more in-depth analysis and repair. Think of Pit Stop as....like the pit stops conducted in the Quaker State 400. They are quick, efficient, and most importantly...affordable. I've been to a similar Pit Stop in Lawton, Oklahoma and let's just say...those guys would continually try to rip me off by offering me services I didn't even need or already had done. Another Pit Stop in Fayetteville, NC caused my engine light to illuminate after conducting what was supposed to be a routine oil change. That was the last time I ever got my oil changed at that particular pseudo mechanic's garage. The Pit Stop on Viscount, however, is nothing like that. Not only are these guys honest and just plain bottom line up front (BLUF), they also offer additional services which, in turn, only aide them in bringing in even more Benjamins. Nice work, fellas! They also do windshield repair, headlight restoration, and as I just recently discovered...engine steam cleaning. Very handy if it's something you've never had done and have owned your vehicle for more than, say...4 years. This is literally the ONLY place in EP I'll go to for an oil change simply on the premise that it's quick, easy and cheap. Some may not agree with me or claim they'd rather change their own oil but...hey--I'm a computer geek, not a mechanic. I pay other people to work on The Batmobile and take no shame in admitting that. The aforementioned 1 star review ought to be filed in the archives of once disgruntled patrons who couldn't determine the difference between a socket wrench and a screwdriver, and was most likely written in a fit of rage over a one-time botched transaction when they could have just taken the vehicle back and made the mechanics do the job over again. Not one complaint about having trouble opening and shutting my oil pan from underneath my vehicle. Now 5000 miles later time for my oil change and the oil changers refused to do any work on my vehicle because it was tightend way to much. They show me right away, and I took pictures of it. The nut is obviously worn off if they tried it would break my oil pan. Again no issue was reported before hand so there should be no issue now. Oil changers was the last place to do my oil change only a month ago. I travel for work yes which shouldn't matter because I'm allowed to drive my vehicle 5000 miles and it still be OK for next oil changers. I say this because speaking to Christopher your regional manager he thinks I drove half way across the country and banged it someway and cause the nut to be worn as it is. Now I am in Water Town NY. I need an oil change. As I told you I travel for work. I need a solution to this problem. I drive a 2021 Ram Classic 5.7L, my truck sits pretty high i have side steps that would have been damaged had I ever bumped anything. And I drive for a living nationwide in one month I didn't damage my oil pan. Now after speaking to manager at store and Christopher regional manager. She invites possible customers over and does not schedule them or let anyone know to expect you after she assures you that she will. For having scriptures printed on their receipts, they are the most dishonest mechanics I have ever dealt with. I took my vehicle for a simple alignment. They charged me over $120. I get a call saying that the camber will be an additional 250+. I declined and told them to align it without the additional cost. They went out of their way to adjust the camber to an extreme degree. So much so that the front end was vibrating on the freeway after 60mph. You could actually see that the bottoms of the wheels were tucked inward about 2 inches. It has never been that way. The wheels were not straight at all. Instead of doing it right they sabotaged it to an extreme degree thinking I would come back and pay the ridiculous prices for a simple $89 alignment which should already include Camber, Caster, and Toe. Careful, they will sabotage your car if you don't agree to pay their outrageous prices. DISHONEST. Using bible scriptures on their quotes/receipts to try and convince you of their honesty. TRASH. I will tell EVERYONE I KNOW TO STAY AWAY. You have been warned.
