I have called and texted him from when he first worked on my bmw m3. he is careless. his workers are careless. he butchered my m3 to fit a csl bumper that i had to undo to make the car oem spec and flawless again. he LOST all my OE parts and said sorry i dont know where you mint BUMPER is or all the misc parts i asked him to keep. he cost me alot of time and wasted money. if you are consider taking your precious car to him, you might as well light your car on fire. read more

if i could leave 0 stars, i would. could not agree more with the other reviews (long time major wait). originally ordered 1M front bumper for my e92 335i. car was first attempted to get delivered and has major paint imperfections and parts were not installed/aligned correctly. not all the job scoped and agreed upon was completed. second attempt i went to LA to the shop to pick up the car and Long didn't even get to the shop at the time we agreed to meet. the paint job was terrible and i ended up taping up the car to show how much imperfection is on the car. no idea why i was told my car is ready when you can tell from 10 feet away the paint job was terrible. on the third attempt my car was delivered to me in SD. had to call multiple times for an update. no proactive updates on delays and constant excuses on why the car was delayed every week. had to wait 7 months to get parts painted and installed on my bmw at the end of the day. car still had imperfect paint, front limo was was scratched, diffuser was cracked and had tape still. icing on the gap was the shop forgot to bring back all my parts as requested and swapped lug lock with a common lug. read more

LTMW = long time major wait went to get some mods done on my bimmer and was encouraged by them to get a bunch of work done. that's all fine and dandy, except I wasn't aware that it would cause even more problems and a year-long wait, for a car that was hardly worked on. when they finally obliged to finish work on it, I took home a car with a faulty alternator and no engine cover underneath it. long told me that was perfectly normal. he also told me it would be perfectly fine to put 19'' bbms on it that would rub on the fenders every time you drove over a twig. I took it with a grain of salt, and went to my neighborhood bmw shop and they promptly fixed all the issues in my car at a much lower cost, and went above and beyond what was asked of them. LTMW is basically a chop shop and seem happiest to do cosmetic work rather than mechanical work, and prioritize flamboyant and over-the-top jobs over all others. so unless you're trying to widebody your rolls royce or put suicide doors on your gtr, I'd strongly suggest a more honest and qualified establishment to fix your car. wish I had known this before I approached them. that's a year with my beloved m5 I will never get back, and hundreds upon hundreds of phone calls just begging to have them complete the already-paid-for work on my car, which instead was just parked and left aside in the blazing sun of the sgv. read more

A few months ago I purchased a painted M3 style front bumper from the LTMW website for my e92. The bumper is great but the paint quality on it is failing, I tried contacting both Long Tran and the company multiple times to hopefully work something out and never heard a word. Just broken promises to call me back. Very disappointed in the paint quality and worse the customer service. I don't drive the car that often i assumed the paint would last longer than 4 months before it started failing... WOW! I almost cried when I picked up my tc because of the great job LTMW did, they even had my car washed too! ... My car was vandalized and I needed some body work done on my hood and bumper of my 2015 Scion tc. I had a dent on my hood and some paint chipping on both the hood and bumper. I was referred to LTMW by the owner of Detail Union who works across from the shop. I quoted around different body shops but wasn't convinced until I met Brandon and his partners. They were easy to work with and were very professional and greeted me right away. The turn around time was quick as well, about 1 week. I am amazed at the quality of work that I received, it looks like the first day I bought it off the lot. They fixed the paint job on my bumper (which had previous work done by another body shop) and color matched the paint to my fender as well. Where to start... When you see the name of this company backing big name car groups and social media people, you would think this would be the most reliable source to go get a car done at. Ferrari, Lambos, RWBs, Liberty Walk, and Rocket Bunny are just seen everywhere on their page with there names plastered all over it. Unfortunately my experience with is nothing more bitter and massive headache. Came in for what I thought to be a fairly easy air suspension install. (literally the most difficult thing was to mount the air tank to the top of trunk which they said they have a custom pre-built bracket for) Did not trust myself and simply don't have the time to install this myself. I ordered a 3P Airlift suspension with 4G air tank. Asked to have my air compressors swapped to black air compressor (as I initially order chrome) and customs bracket to mount on units on top of my trunk. They said 3 days to finish my car. Day of Drop Off: Turned in my car to them as promised. Seemed pretty busy that day. Literally just left the keys and no one decides to follow up on what I wanted on my car. (whatever's its on the order) Day 2: Decided to check up- all seemed well. Day 3 (day of pick up): They said they need until the end of the day to finish. I was like no rush- I want this done right. Showed up to pick up my car. Car was still in the shop and from the looks of it- they barely just finished towards the end of there day. Calibration was barely done and just put my lugs on. Black compressors I asked for was not even swapped as they just gave me chrome ones. From the surface everything seemed alright. (Major mistake since I did not know how sloppy the job was) Week 1(after pick up the car): Did an air leak check and heard banging noise from one of my struts. My rears were dropping from 70 PSI overnight to ZERO. How is that even possible? Struts I was just too afraid to tamper with anything otherwise I was afraid the shop was going to frame me for touching it. Brake line tab was broken also which I found out mid week as it was rubbing against my inner rim. Brought the car back- (please take note of this guy Van) told him my rear bags were leaking air and I hear a strange noise out of my struts. He immediately goes to the front of my car pops the hood... I just told you my rear bags are leaking...? and my rear strut section is making a funny noise. Why are you going to the front of the car? After redirecting him to actual part of issue, he begins fixing the issue. After 3 hours of just watching him tinker on the car- he claims all my problems were fixed. Ok everything looks like it checked out. Two days after that incident the banging noise was back and worse than ever. Sounded like a rhino is smashing into my rear fender every time I hit an uneven road. Had no choice to bring it to one of my trusted mechanics to put it on lift to have it inspected. We discovered both strut bolts connected to lower control arm were not even tighten down. The one was supposedly "fixed" was was not on but basically held by friction somehow. (sticking half an inch out) 3 weeks after ( I seriously did not want to have anything to do with this shop anymore) and with my luck I ran into another problem. One of the bags blew and luckily I was rolling with a few of my friends at the time so they were able to help my check it out. The bag apparently was touching the exhaust the whole time. How was this not checked? Brought my car on flat bed and talked to owner- he claims its not his problem as since I was the customer that brought him to product to install and cannot blame his workers for not checking their work. That is pretty infuriating to me when I as a customer have to run head through toe to check this shops work for a proper installation service I paid for. Let alone an extremely shoddy lack luster job. I had missing trunk liner pins and damaged rim ( Ignorant of me for not mentioning it during my first visit fixing the first problem but those were easy fix on my end) He said he would have to charge me for the bags to fix this problem and had it expressed over. I was just pretty much sick and tired of all the excuses out of this shop at this point because I just want my car working and out of this crazy place. If you have something super simple when they are not busy or just rolling in money and alot of time this is the place to go. It's the dishonesty and poor quality workmanship that makes wonder how they work on such complicated builds and I am just asking for a simple air suspension install. I went in for a wide body i guess u can also call it fender flares. I told them i wanted metal fender flares and showed them many pics of what i wanted. They were quick to say yes we can do that. The car sat for 2 months before they took a grinder and completely cut off the fender line. I was like WTF how u gonna fix that! They assured me i was gonna get was i asked for. Well car sat for another 4 months with out being touched wen i threatened to report them they finally got working on the car only to put plastic wider fenders on the car over all the car took 8 months to be completed 8 months for what could have taken 3 months. Only reason i give them 2 stars instead of 1 is because the car did look good in the end but having plastic work done to the car was absolutely not acceptable. read more

LTBMW is the place to go if you have a newer generation BMW. The owner, Long, is a VERY knowledgeable BMW enthusiast whom many watched and followed on numerous BMW forums. He started of as a regular do it yourself BMW modder on his own BMW 3 series at his own home. As he gained more knowledge, he started giving back to the community by working on other fellow enthusiasts' BMWs from his own garage. In 2010 he finally opened his own official shop and is now severing everyone. His prices are cheap and competitive. He's helpful too. He can also get you the parts you need for cheaper than most other vendors. Come by if you want fast and cheap BMW installs ranging from springs/coils to exhausts. If he doesn't do certain work, he can refer you to other guys like him too. Be sure to check out his own M3 and X5 which are usually at the shop too! As of March 2011, LTBMW has moved to a more spacious location right across from their old shop! Their new location is technically on Peck Road, but to get there, you still turn on McBean Drive and make your first left. The new place is pretty cool! There is more space for customer parking and a colorful floor-to-ceiling graffiti wall inside. The waiting area is very comfortable and you won't even notice that five hours have gone by since you first got there. I started modding my 328i back in October 2010 and I've done almost all my work through LTBMW. Their prices are good and they do exceptional work. The shop specializes in custom BMW installs, but I think they're planning to expand to other types of cars as well. In any case, so far they've helped me: -Black out the orange stripe on the headlight -Change my tail lights -Replace rear bumper -De-badge my car -Install new tires & wheels Needless to say, every time I leave the shop, I have a huge smile on my face because my car looks better and better. Their work definitely speaks for itself, especially if you actively follow car Instagrams and magazines. They've put together some crazy builds, so naturally I wanted to get something done from LTMW. I wanted an Amuse style front bumper initially, but after reading many threads about aftermarket fitment issues, I decided to shell out more to get it done right with OEM fitment. I had a 1M bumper done and they offered to do the job with free installation. All in all, it was $1,450 painted and 2.5 weeks to get everything done. The website pricing isn't exactly accurate because it said I would have had to pay $1,750, so I ended up paying a lot less. They gave me a loaner bumper during the 2.5 weeks (which felt like years) and it was worth the wait. The paint matched perfectly and the fitment was on point. I cannot stop looking at my bae aka car. The only issue was communication. It was a little awkward contacting LTMW and waiting there both times. I felt like we were almost a nuisance, so I tried not to bother them too much. The incident took out my undercarriage, power steering, pulley, wheels, front bumper, suspension parts, and even cut a tire amongst other things. I was able to utilize my insurance to help me with this incident and Long had set everything up for me. Including calling Enterprise to get me inside of a rental (even on a Saturday afternoon). I just picked up my car and am thrilled with the results, it's back to 100%! His staff and himself are very careful with the customers cars and truly treat them like their own. Brought my car to Long after I was rear-ended. He was recommended by a buddy at work. Since the trunk had to be replaced anyway, I asked him if we could add a lip/spoiler to it similar to a CSL trunk. We fired links back and forth and discussed different ideas for the car. When we settled on a lip, I wasn't sure I had made the right choice. It looked a little funky in the pictures. When I saw my car myself, however, I was stunned. Not only had he repaired all the damage from the accident, the lip was molded onto the trunk beautifully, with subtle details that I hadn't even thought to ask about. LTMW is definitely the place I will think of whenever I want any body work done in the future. Oh, I almost forgot. I was looking for wheels for my car but I couldn't quite settle on anything. I liked the forgestar F14s but they did not have the paint scheme I was looking for. Black wheel with a machined face. Long sent it to a machinist to take the tinist amount off the face of the wheel, then clear coated them in his own shop to prevent corrosion. They are literally one of a kind and look fantastic. I wasn't expecting anything but Long greeted me and said it was no problem and had work started on it immediately. Daniel did the oil change and was a pleasure to chat with. The service was quick and I was in and out without any wait time except to check out the awesome Liberty Walk cars outside. Long even helped me affix my front reflector at no extra cost - he probably couldn't stand how ghetto it looked lol. Philip had helped me on the other side previously... I really don't know what happened to this shop since now it seems they hire anyone here now. Long story short, I have brought my car here almost exclusively since the beginning of 2013 for regular oil and filter changes. Everything has been fine up to till last year to now. The last few oil changes has been the most problematic. Not enough oil was added, oil leakage from parts missing or people forgetting to put back the right parts, oil spatter all over the engine bay from the same job as the oil leakage. Now the most recent is they have overtorqued and stripped the drain plugs to the oil pan and now the oil pan might be needing a replacement which is not cheap. This place was so much better back in the day when it was just BMWs. I think now since they have so many other exotic cars to work with, it just seems they have forgotten their roots in BMWs. Came here to get my fenders rolled to fit some massive wheels under the car. You would think that they would do a great job since my car is an E92 and they primarily deal with the BMW E9x series cars. By the time one fender was done, the paint was already flaking off. He had also already used a HAMMER (not rubber mallet) to hammer one side in so much that there was a visible DENT in the rear quarter panel of my car. Linh T says one of the pros is that the owner is Vietnamese. Not in my case, since I asked the guy that was rolling my fenders (not the owner) if he had a heat gun to use. I think he said yes and continued to roll the other fender. I think he also said that the dent was already there. I might have believed him if he wasn't holding a hammer in one hand when he said that. No not really, since I am the only person that ever washes the car. I engage in car washing intercourse pretty often so I would know whether or not a dent was there. So in MY situation, the fact that I wasn't Vietnamese was a huge con, and I'm sure that most people are not Vietnamese, and that this would also be a con for them. When I was looking for some place to mod my 2009 BMW and I heard a lot of hype about this place. Even though they are about 100 miles away I decided to go check out what the hype was all about. After talking to Long & Ivan and decision was made. Dropped my car off at their new location for heavy modding work including, Fully M3 body conversion, custom paint work, custom bodywork, wheels, suspension, Brembo caliper paint, few cosmetic add-ons, seats, and few other stuffs. Throughout the process, Long and Ivan updated me with progress since this wasn't just overnight modding. After 2 month, I went back to the shop to see the finished product. My jaw dropped to the floor and I don't know where my jaw went, my car transformed into something extraordinary. Custom paint work was just amazing! I was going around the car and it was just flawless. All the work they have done to my car lived upto the hype...surpassed it. Ended up being on the cover of July issue Eurotuner magazine. That shows how legit their work truly is.
