I can't say enough about the outstanding service at Fix Auto Downtown El Monte. They recently handled repairs on my mom's 2023 BMW X1 after a rear-end accident, and the results were flawless. The bumper repair was done with true craftsmanship--the car looks brand new, as if the accident never happened. From start to finish, the team was professional, attentive, and kept us updated throughout the process. They clearly take pride in their work and it shows in the quality of the repair as well as the care they give to their customers. It's rare these days to find a shop that combines top-notch technical skill with excellent customer service, but Fix Auto absolutely delivered. We're beyond impressed and grateful for the job they did. If you want peace of mind and repairs done right the first time, this is the place to go. read more

Did a good job with my car. They are super busy and still provide great customer service. Will recommend to my friends.

Amazing body shop! This is my 4th time coming here (I crash my car a lot), and every single time they return my car looking brand new! Huge shout-out to David, Danny, and Corina for always taking care of me! Consistently great work. I'll definitely be back when I crash my car AGAIN! read more

The bodywork was really nice and they stayed within the quoted time frame. This seems to be a popular shop.

I brought my Tesla here for bodywork, and they restored it to brand-new condition. The service was outstanding--efficient, professional, and top-quality. Corina was very helpful along with the whole staff there. If I ever need work done on my car again, I wouldn't hesitate to return. read more

I had my car dropped off here to be inspected for insurance purposes, however, the insurance deemed it a total loss even though it was the exterior that needed to be fixed. Not only did they ransack my car, but they took off door handles, windows and removed my headlights and fender completely and left it looking like trash. I dropped it off still in drivable condition and they tore it up. Below are pictures of my car when I dropped it off and versus when I got it back. read more

I brought my Tesla here to fix a smashed door (got side swiped by someone while parked). Fix Auto restored my car and did great body work. They also gave an accurate estimate, kept me informed with updates along the way, and completed the work in a reasonable time frame. Corina especially always makes the not-so-pleasant process of needing to get body work done unexpectedly seamless and I would highly recommend taking your car (especially a Tesla since they're a Tesla preferred collision center) to them when body work is needed. read more

This body shop is very professional. The people who work here are truly client centric. Every time we encountered their reps my husband and I had a pleasant experience. Very nice and very professional! Their work is done very well too. Very detailed and through. They spoke to the insurance company directly and communicated with my accordingly. I am really pleased with their work. Thank you ! read more

Took my Tesla here to replace the front bumper after a hit and run accident. This shop is very communicative and they worked directly with my insurance company to get the estimates in. After the estimate was approved, I called back to order the parts. The wait time and time to set up appointment was a little long (about 2 weeks), but the repair was very quick (they estimated 5-7 businesses days but it was done in 1 day!). The quality of their work was excellent and they even washed my car (exterior& interior) before I picked it up. I'm super happy with the repair and how fast they finished the job. Thank you again, Corina and other folks in the shop, for your great quality of work! read more

HORRIBLE customer service! I feel so misled by the positive reviews, there must be an incentive to the high ratings. This shop has some of the most rude, unprofessional staff I have ever met. If you want your time wasted, send your car here! After I was told it would take more than half a year to get my car estimated & fixed, I decided it was not worth it. Every other auto repair shop I called and visited was able to guarantee an estimate within 2-3 days max and a repair in less than half of a year. I just wish the staff at Fix Auto in El Monte had compassion for people sending their cars here rather than just milking the system & insurance payout. Overall, this place is a fraud. Very disappointed that they are backed by insurance companies. Super negative energy in the office. No parking at all. Good luck if you decide to drop your car off here. read more

Shout out to Danille ,they fixed it in a few minutes , quick and easy .... Get your services done here

This is my second time taking my car to Fix Auto, and I want to share my experience. Unfortunately, someone bumped into my car and damaged the door, and I knew exactly where to take it: Fix Auto. I really appreciate their work - they are extremely professional, and I completely trust them with my vehicle! Corina from Fix Auto El Monte assisted me with my car rental, and Hertz was within walking distance from the shop, which is a great convenience for me. For anyone looking to get their Tesla repaired, I highly recommend going to Fix Auto! read more

I had my Tesla dropped off to be fixed after a minor accident. They are a Tesla certified repair shop and they actually found a bit more damage that other shops missed so I went with them. The manager Tri was very helpful from getting me an estimate to communicating with me the status of the car. When returning the car the fix was pretty much impossible to notice. They return the car fully cleaned and washed which is very much appreciated. The pricing is fair and they do quality work and I would bring in my car again to this shop read more

My BMW was hit from the back and these folks at Fix Auto El Monte fixed it along with making sure all little scratches and dents were removed. Nothing but OEM quality parts with the best service. I've been through a few auto shops but these guys are on top of the game. You want a no nonsense shop that will make your car look brand new this is the place to go. Dont waste your time looking at other sub-par shops out there go here now! read more

Hands down the best place to take your Tesla to get repairs. Awesome customer service, the front desk Corina is very perceptive and knows exactly what you need. I love the constant communication you get from them. My car was damage on the door side and Tri help me with the whole process from beginning to end. He is such an amazing guy, helps you feel confident that they will do a great job with your car. Even though other places told me that there is a long back order on the parts Tri got them rather quickly. My car came back better than new. Thank you for washing the car and taking such good care of it. I highly recommend this place and they don't over charge you at all. Such a well run place. read more

Recommended to come here by a friend! I took my Tesla here to fix the front bumper after a hit and run accident. This shop is very communicative and they worked directly with the insurance company to get the estimates and supplements in. They even handled most of the rental car processes. The quality of their work was excellent and they even washed my car (exterior& interior) before I picked it up. My wheels were oiled and never looked better. I'm super happy with the repair and superb service. Corina was great at communication from start to finish. Highly recommend! read more

Everything went well when requesting help from FIX Auto. Worked with Daniel & Corina, who made it easy to receive an estimate, drop off our car, keeping in contact with us in progress, and setting up the pickup of our repaired Tesla! And the repairs did not disappoint! The car looked brand new! Paint job was amazing! Thanks FIX Auto! We'll always recommend and use your services! read more

I brought my car through recommendation by my insurance carrier and Fix Auto was simply wonderful! They got me a Lyft home so I was able to drop off my car that same day (which was very kind of them!), and the turnaround time was super fast. They did an amazing job and my car feels brand new again! I highly recommend them!! read more

The service of the entire staff at Fix Auto Downtown El Monte is incredible! I brought my Tesla Model 3 in for cosmetic repairs as debris on the freeway damaged my front bumper and left headlight. Their work does not disappoint, and you would never know my car had any repairs done! Once my car was ready for pickup, they were kind enough to send me a Lyft. My car went into the shop clean (inside and out) and came out extremely clean. Thanks for the ride and wash! Bring your vehicle here if you enjoy working with compassionate and friendly folks. Was recommended to come here by my insurance. It was close by, and due to the extent of the damage, I had to tow my car here. It was quite busy and they had a full lot but they made sure I was being helped and got me through the process quickly. They said it would take 3 weeks or more to repair, but it only took 2! My car looks great, everything works perfectly and they made the process go very smoothly. Def recommend this place read more

Update. Unfortunately I went back to this place and the second time was not a good experience. I no longer recommend this place. It took forever for my car to be fixed. Forever. I had two repairs to have completed. Rather than do both at the same time, they completed one before starting the other. ????? Then when I went to pick it up after 5-6 weeks, the guy who "helped" me was anything but helpful. The panels were not lined up, the door did not open all the way and he frankly did not care. When I told him the panels did not line up and they needed to fix it, he said "Tesla's are like that" seriously? The car had over $20,000 in repairs and when gaps existed after the parts they replaced were obvious, he blamed it on Tesla? When I refused to take the car until it was fixed, they were eventually able to do it right. After I incurred additional rental car expense for their extended time needed for a redo. I had previously recommended this place to multiple people. I will NEVER recommend this place again. read more

If I can give Fix Auto 10 million stars, I would do it instantly! Amazing work, service, and customer service all around. They are Tesla certified so a lot of Tesla owners come here to get their cars fixed if they don't want to go through Tesla Service Centers. Big shoutout to Corina who took care of me from the very beginning till the end. I've taken my Tesla Model Y to Fix Auto in Temple City for another repair and when my front windshield got shattered, that location unfortunately did not offer windshield repair service so I decided to check out this El Monte location. Although, this location did not offer windshield repair directly, they have a reliable 3rd party vendor to work on it. It was a struggle to get my insurance and their 3rd party glass vendor to agree on payment but after many calls and waiting I was able to get an appointment for the repair. Corina was there throughout this whole process and was really helpful and patient. This location itself is fairly small compared to other Fix Auto locations. Be prepared to park on the street if there's no space in the lot, but someone will eventually make space in their lot and inform you to park inside. When my car was ready for pickup, Corina was kind enough to order a Lyft for me so that I can get dropped off at the store. Overall, I had a terrific experience with Fix Auto and their service. I would definitely recommend here! read more

5 out of 5 ! Highly recommend this location if you unfortunately had a car collision. Corina the manager is super friendly ! Would call me with updates on the status of my car. Super helpful when I needed help on my parking permit papers. Eileen she's the front office super kind friendly and always had a welcoming smile ! Helped out with paper work and walked me through the process that my car was going to go through. Daniel the estimator was super kind and the estimate was right on the dot. I knew my car was in good hands. I had a certain concern and he made sure I was 100% satisfied and I am ! Thank you again to the staff and workers at FIX AUTO . Love the outcome! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Picture don't do enough justice. Fast, efficient, friendly overall the work was PERFECT. read more

Took my tesla car here because it was Tesla Certified Bodyshop. My car was rear ended and the trunk gate, bumper, and quarter panels needed replace. Had an amazing experience at Fix Auto Downtown El Monte fixing my Tesla. I had originally went to the Temple City location but they quoted me a longer repair time and weren't as helpful as they were at this location. Tri was able to write me up an estimate immediately and he was super helpful. I didn't feel judged for my idiotic accident. I went through Tesla insurance (which takes forever, btw) but once that was approved, repairing was so easy. They even provided an Uber back home for me and my car was ready within 2 weeks and looks good as new. Extra love for the girls, Corina and Eileen, that were such sweethearts! Definitely recommend coming here to fix your Tesla. read more

I came here to have my entire Tesla door repainted, and I would say the insurance process with them went fairly smoothly. However, the quality of the work is definitely not good. The door was not sanded properly, and you can find bubbles in various places. You can also spot areas where they didn't paint correctly. It looks good from a distance, but not when you see it up close. I brought the issues up to Tri, but he was somewhat dismissive. I took my car back in and pointed out the problems, but they still didn't fix everything. I eventually just gave up and didn't bother bringing it back again. read more

Corinna was super pleasant and accommodating. I am super impressed with the service provided from customer service perspective and the quality of the work done to my car. The text updates, phone calls keeping me updated were just enough. The amount of time they took to fix my car was also impressive. Danny and Karina truly were truly helpful professional the work was great hospital I gave them thumbs up for the hard work and everything.

Let me start this review by saying I was in a unique circumstance. My car didn't need any body work but apparently a stray kitten crawled up between the bumper and engine and unfortunately died. We didn't notice until a smell and I called every local mechanic and car wash and they were not willing to help me. I didn't know what to do and being 7 months pregnant it's not like I can go under my car and do anything. The last mechanic suggested to try a body shop. So that's what I did. This was the first one I called because it was local and they seemed to have great reviews. I called and spoke to Denise, explained my situation in which she spoke to the manager David. They said to come in and they were willing to check it out and give me an estimate OMG! Willing to at least look at it?! I was so grateful because all who could, wouldn't. I drove my car there and was seen and thank the stars above they were willing to take out the animal. Robert was my worker and he went above and beyond and pressure washed the area and explained what might have happened. Corina also was there and showed me the car and just the customer service was too notch. A body shop was willing to help me even though there was no damage to my car. They also helped an expecting mother when no other place was willing to at least view the car. I can't never thank them enough to help me and they have a customer for life and would 100% recommend them on the customer service alone. read more
