I had my car dropped off here to be inspected for insurance purposes, however, the insurance deemed it a total loss even though it was the exterior that needed to be fixed. Not only did they ransack my car, but they took off door handles, windows and removed my headlights and fender completely and left it looking like trash. I brought my Tesla here to fix a smashed door (got side swiped by someone while parked). Fix Auto restored my car and did great body work. They also gave an accurate estimate, kept me informed with updates along the way, and completed the work in a reasonable time frame. Corina especially always makes the not-so-pleasant process of needing to get body work done unexpectedly seamless and I would highly recommend taking your car (especially a Tesla since they're a Tesla preferred collision center) to them when body work is needed. read more

Took my Tesla here to replace the front bumper after a hit and run accident. This shop is very communicative and they worked directly with my insurance company to get the estimates in. After the estimate was approved, I called back to order the parts. The wait time and time to set up appointment was a little long (about 2 weeks), but the repair was very quick (they estimated 5-7 businesses days but it was done in 1 day!). The quality of their work was excellent and they even washed my car (exterior& interior) before I picked it up. I'm super happy with the repair and how fast they finished the job. HORRIBLE customer service! I feel so misled by the positive reviews, there must be an incentive to the high ratings. This shop has some of the most rude, unprofessional staff I have ever met. If you want your time wasted, send your car here! After I was told it would take more than half a year to get my car estimated & fixed, I decided it was not worth it. Every other auto repair shop I called and visited was able to guarantee an estimate within 2-3 days max and a repair in less than half of a year. I just wish the staff at Fix Auto in El Monte had compassion for people sending their cars here rather than just milking the system & insurance payout. Overall, this place is a fraud. Very disappointed that they are backed by insurance companies. Super negative energy in the office. No parking at all. Good luck if you decide to drop your car off here. read more

I had my Tesla dropped off to be fixed after a minor accident. They are a Tesla certified repair shop and they actually found a bit more damage that other shops missed so I went with them. The manager Tri was very helpful from getting me an estimate to communicating with me the status of the car. When returning the car the fix was pretty much impossible to notice. Was recommended to come here by my insurance. It was close by, and due to the extent of the damage, I had to tow my car here. It was quite busy and they had a full lot but they made sure I was being helped and got me through the process quickly. They said it would take 3 weeks or more to repair, but it only took 2! Update. Unfortunately I went back to this place and the second time was not a good experience. I no longer recommend this place. It took forever for my car to be fixed. Forever. I had two repairs to have completed. Rather than do both at the same time, they completed one before starting the other. ????? Then when I went to pick it up after 5-6 weeks, the guy who "helped" me was anything but helpful. The panels were not lined up, the door did not open all the way and he frankly did not care. When I told him the panels did not line up and they needed to fix it, he said "Tesla's are like that" seriously? The car had over $20,000 in repairs and when gaps existed after the parts they replaced were obvious, he blamed it on Tesla? When I refused to take the car until it was fixed, they were eventually able to do it right. After I incurred additional rental car expense for their extended time needed for a redo. I had previously recommended this place to multiple people. I will NEVER recommend this place again. read more

If I can give Fix Auto 10 million stars, I would do it instantly! Amazing work, service, and customer service all around. They are Tesla certified so a lot of Tesla owners come here to get their cars fixed if they don't want to go through Tesla Service Centers. Big shoutout to Corina who took care of me from the very beginning till the end. I've taken my Tesla Model Y to Fix Auto in Temple City for another repair and when my front windshield got shattered, that location unfortunately did not offer windshield repair service so I decided to check out this El Monte location. Although, this location did not offer windshield repair directly, they have a reliable 3rd party vendor to work on it. It was a struggle to get my insurance and their 3rd party glass vendor to agree on payment but after many calls and waiting I was able to get an appointment for the repair. Corina was there throughout this whole process and was really helpful and patient. This location itself is fairly small compared to other Fix Auto locations. Be prepared to park on the street if there's no space in the lot, but someone will eventually make space in their lot and inform you to park inside. When my car was ready for pickup, Corina was kind enough to order a Lyft for me so that I can get dropped off at the store. Overall, I had a terrific experience with Fix Auto and their service. I would definitely recommend here! read more

I came here to have my entire Tesla door repainted, and I would say the insurance process with them went fairly smoothly. However, the quality of the work is definitely not good. The door was not sanded properly, and you can find bubbles in various places. You can also spot areas where they didn't paint correctly. It looks good from a distance, but not when you see it up close. I brought the issues up to Tri, but he was somewhat dismissive. I took my car back in and pointed out the problems, but they still didn't fix everything. I eventually just gave up and didn't bother bringing it back again. read more

Had an amazing experience at Fix Auto Downtown El Monte fixing my Tesla. I had originally went to the Temple City location but they quoted me a longer repair time and weren't as helpful as they were at this location. Tri was able to write me up an estimate immediately and he was super helpful. I didn't feel judged for my idiotic accident. I went through Tesla insurance (which takes forever, btw) but once that was approved, repairing was so easy. They even provided an Uber back home for me and my car was ready within 2 weeks and looks good as new. Extra love for the girls, Corina and Eileen, that were such sweethearts! Had THE WORST experience with FixAuto. I had came to the office 3-4 months ago. Went through with insurance and everything. Finally the case got settled and insurance gave everyone the green light to start the process of getting my car fixed. They were going to send the estimate to the insurance company the next few days and inform me. However, next few days still nothing then I call them the next following week and said that they had just sent it and it's going to take a 3 day process and that they would let me know. 3 months later and I heard nothing and decided to go with another shop which took my car in the same day....
