It's a glorified drop off location. They have no FedEx labels, no FedEx air bills for you to fill out in the event that you have a FedEx account. Fedex needs to take them off their map as far as an inside location with staff positions. The staff offered me no solutions. As I read other reviews of the printing/shipping area, it appears they lack either training or the ability to assist.

Upon walking in it took them a minute, but somebody finally asked if we needed some help. As we were talking to the lady employee about which laptop to purchase, another person randomly comes up and starts talking to the lady employee who was talking to us clearly. She continued to address the man as if we did not exist right there. It was really offensive and we end up walking away and looking at the computers ourselves. After some time went by we decided to walk out because the customer service was just absolutely dismissive. We end up leaving, but then I felt convicted because I couldn't let that type of customer "no" service slide. I end up going back in asking for a manager, and the manager told me that the person who disrespectfully inserted himself is a vendor with another company. The Best Buy managers name is Tia (who I talked to) and the vendors name is Milo. The manager said that she would have a talk with upper management to let them about the situation however I have gotten no follow up or anything! Honestly seemed like it was a way to dismiss me, because there was no additional action. No getting my contact information or anything. This place definitely needs help in the customer service department in my opinion. I see now why those reviews are rated low.

I thankfully was placed in the correct line but then it went downhill. Us in the preorder lines were standing around as all the service people were getting assistance on making appointments. No one came up to check up on us for about 20 minutes intill the guy in front of me spoke up and asked what was going on. It turns out there were some people in the preorder line that didn't preorder and needed assistance in finding the phone they want for their needs which held us up. Granted after I got to my service tech and he checked my trade in, I was able to sit somewhere as they started the transfer process. The whole experience took long over an hour and there was many upset people in line behind me saying that they needed to get back to work and chose this time because they thought this was a in and out appointment. Walter, the owner and head digital guru, not only is polite, friendly and honest, but can communicate often times complicated information in a simple and straightforward way. He isn't there to dazzle you with his knowledge (although that might happen along the way). He knows your main concerns are 1) What's wrong? and 2) How much will it cost? Not one time has he been unable to solve the problem, or given us a price that wasn't reasonable. That his shop is conveniently located near I-10 is another bonus. So before you take your computer to a big-box store or someplace you see on the street, either of which is likely to turn into a stress-fest, let CCX have a look. Chances are that the quality of work will be higher, and cost less.

When I finally called to check the status, I was told they "couldn't solder," meaning they were never capable of performing the repair in the first place. When I went to pick up my laptop, the employee actually asked if they had repaired it so he could charge me more -- even though they had already admitted they couldn't fix it. That tells you everything about the professionalism here. No transparency, no communication, and no value for the customer's time.
