Anyways, I have ordered an Nvidia Shield TV about 4 times from CEX online...4 times...sounds crazy right? Well it is, multiple times I have ordered online from CEX and the Shield TV was either missing a controller, broken, or they gave me the wrong controller. Now normally I would have given up, but I really didn't have anything else I wanted so I ordered an Nvidia Shield Pro 500GB model one last time and shipped by this store. Shipping notice came three days early, item didn't ship out until about three days after I got the shipping notice, a bit annoying really, but whatever. Item arrived in under a week so overall I can't complain especially for free shipping. I received the item a couple days ago. The item functions great, came complete with box, even with the original charging cable! These guys did their homework, unlike the other CEX stores I dealt with and failed, these guys got it right! I feel confident to say that any interaction with them should at least be professional and you should get what you pay for, and I imagine if not they would resolve the issue quickly. Instead of letting me simply leave them with him or restock them himself, the employee rudely insisted I go all the way to the back of the store to re-shelve them myself before he'd let me check out. This is completely unacceptable. I was ready to walk out and buy from another store, but I had no time. As a loyal customer, I expect much better. This kind of disregard for basic customer service is why Best Buy is losing business. Convenience is supposed to be the point--forcing me to restock is not my job.

She gave me her personal phone number to contact her to make sure everything was good to go before I made the drive. Friday came along (May 17, 2019), I contacted her around 10:19 AM to make sure everything was in order. She informed me that yes and that she would have the phone ready when she came into work. Then at 11:06 AM, I receive a personal text saying that now the manager informed her there is a new promotion that the device requires a port in from another carrier and started defending that she just said a new promo was starting. Bottomline, I respect her for informing me well in advance that I won't be able to get the deal I was told I was going to before I drove over an hour for this only to be disappointed once again. However, this management seriously needs to train their employees to have the correct information at all times and not to lure customers with false hope and incorrect information. They explained everything about plans thoroughly to help us switch from prepaid to post paid. They were very hospitable as well. (I'm pregnant and needed some water immediately). I asked Derek if they had water and he informed me due to COVID protocol he was not allowed to give it to me from the store. But he promptly walked all the way to the food court and got me some water on his own accord. My husband I truly appreciated that kind gesture. He wasn't required to do that. He took initiative and extra step to provide me with what I consider great customer service.
