I contracted them to completely repaint the walls in a townhouse that was between tenants. Luis accepted the 4 day window of time and the estimate beat competitors by thousands of dollars. What I didn't expect was the exceptional preparation and repair prior to painting. They did so much more than simply filling nail holes. They spackled and sanded every imperfection in the walls. They laid plastic and drop cloths over every floor, including the stairs. After seeing the great look of the walls, I asked Luis to paint the trim as well. The estimate he provided for this late request was unbeatable. With a ten man motivated and very personable team, they were nearing completion by the middle of the second day when I decided they should also paint the ceilings. Again another unbeatable estimate. These guys are great and fast. They even repaired a damaged base board molding next to the refrigerator at no extra cost. The completed job was great. The painters were friendly and didn't need any oversight, were friendly, worked quickly, and cleaned up after themselves. We had two hiccups along the way, which both dealt with us adding on painting our front door which I offer as cautionary tales for anyone getting their front door painted: First, the powerwashing of the front door also broke our electronic lock. Patrick was quick to respond and removed the cost of the replacement lock from our invoice. (Very kind, thank you!!) Second, I don't think they told us the right kind of paint to buy because it has always looked too matte and stroke-y, and has lately started to bubble. In the future, I would do more research about what type of paint to buy rather than ask the guy who shows up -- I shouldn't have sprung it on them, even though they were more than happy to do it. Who knew that door paint selection could be such a process? Despite these two notes, I would definitely use Patrick's again in the future. It's hard to find a place that offers great customer service these days, and I am very grateful!

A reason for hiring them for this small job was to evaluate their ability to handle a large job - painting the exterior of our house. Based on my experience with the small job I will not consider them. A two-man team was sent. The person who repaired and repainted the bedroom ceiling did a good job. The person who repainted the bathroom did not do a good job. Specifically, the area below the bathroom mirror light fixture had a surface problem that was not addressed. Possibly an attempt to cover the problem was made by applying a very thick paint application. Not only did this not correct the problem but added to it as clearly visible paint brush marks were left behind. I do not understand why a clearly visible problem was not corrected at the time. It is not easy to contact Patrick's Painting but l eventually did and they sent someone to correct the problem. So, a problem that should have not existed was corrected. The outcome for Patrick's Painting is that I will not consider them for painting my house. The included photograph is of the defects as they were left originally. Whether the job was fairly priced or not, I do not know. I was not concerned with the price of this job, but rather the quality of work performed. They do not measure up.

For context, they painted the interior or of our entire home - walls, trim, and ceiling. The team knew how to work with high end paint and transformed a set of drab, beige, poorly textured, and banged up walls. They sanded the walls to manage the texture, worked expertly with tricky corners, managed complex work with dry wall to address dings and structural oddities. They are not just incredible painters - they are also amazing project managers and partners. The team managed our paint job while we traveled, but our furniture and floors were kept pristine (despite our 0% prep for them). When they ran out of paint (because I insisted on getting it and didn't get enough!), they reached out. When I didn't get back to them soon enough, they went to the store and perfectly matched the color, no VOC, and other specifications. They also repaired some outside lighting and took care of a few other minor house problems (interior door wouldn't close) we've struggled with for years. Today we had a flood in our house and about 30 gallons of water ended up in our ceiling. Not only was that horrible but it threatened our hardwood floors. Essam doesn't specialize in emergency repairs but one call from me and he was here within minutes. He drained the water, opened the ceiling so as to prevent mold, cleaned up the mess from the cracked ceiling and protected my hardwood. I've used many contractors in the 20 years I've lived in this area. None come close to the quality and care provided by Essam and his team.

We contracted M3 through Yelp in March for a full kitchen remodel. Initially, everything was…read moreprogressing smoothly until our project manager unexpectedly left the company. Unfortunately, we only discovered this after one of our emails bounced back as undeliverable. At no point did M3 proactively notify us of this change, which was both disappointing and unprofessional. One of the primary reasons we chose M3 over other contractors was their outstanding reviews, along with the professionalism and expertise of the original project manager. After their departure, we were reassigned to the General Manager, Al. Unfortunately, our experience from that point forward was significantly different. Al appeared unfamiliar with many aspects of the process leading up to installation, including countertop and backsplash selections, hardware, faucets, and other design details. In addition, his communication style was highly unprofessional, as he frequently spoke negatively about others involved in the project. Given our concerns, we asked whether there was another employee within the company who could provide the same level of guidance and expertise as our original project manager. We were told there was not, which left us with the impression that the operation heavily relied on a single individual. Ultimately, we decided to cancel the project because we no longer felt comfortable or confident in the General Manager's ability to properly manage and execute the remodel. When we requested a refund of our deposit, we were informed that only 50% would be returned, despite the fact that no work had been performed to date. No explanation or itemized breakdown was provided to justify withholding the remaining portion of the deposit. After we requested full documentation and substantiation for the partial refund, communication from the General Manager ceased entirely. What has been most frustrating throughout this process is the apparent lack of accountability and support within the company. There does not appear to be anyone else available to step in and address or resolve customer concerns when issues arise. We hope this review helps others who may be considering hiring M3, so they can make a fully informed decision and avoid finding themselves in a similar situation.
