I just moved to the area so I wanted to find a new local dentistry to take care of my teeth cleanings, x-rays, or if I ever had any dental concerns. Little did I know, I found my forever-dentistry! The staff here are so friendly, everyone from the receptionist Anna Marie, to my RDA Melanie, and Doctor Kuo. I had a new patient visit and had great instruction to arrive 15 minutes earlier to fill out forms, and was taken in for my appointment immediately afterwards. Yes, they are just that efficient! No waiting at all. I was overdue for my annual dental visit so I asked for a full examination and a routine dental cleaning to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. My RDA, Melanie, did all my x-rays and even did this cool 3d teeth model of all of my teeth! I was WOWed! Dr. Kuo did my full teeth cleaning and talked to me about my concerns, and she was very thorough in her recommendations and explanations, which I appreciated a lot! If I could give 5 stars + I would. Monday a crown fell off and in yelp'ing for a a new Dentist, I found Loyal, which is close to my home and work. Unfortunately I was late to my appointment and had a hard stop time due to a work meeting. Once I arrived the staff knew of my timeline need and showed a since of urgency throughout the entire visit. I'm so glad I found my new dentist office! I went to the same dentist for over 25 years but I had to find a new one since my dentist was retiring. Of course I put that task aside and stopped going to the dentist for a couple years, I know gross but life happens. I found this dentist office when I had a dental emergency, I felt a hole in one of my molars. I used yelp and called around asking who had the next available appointment. Luckily, the people here were extremely nice and helpful, getting me in the next day since it was an emergency! They fixed the issue and were so great that I decided to book my regular cleaning with them a couple weeks later. I have been coming regularly ever since 6 months since then. I have referred everyone to them. My two sisters, brother in law, and partner all come here now because of my recommendation of how great everyone is here. Let me start off by saying that this is an amazing practice with an excellent staff, from the Doctor to the assistant to the front desk. Dr. Kang has a special way with people, especially with kids. From the get go, she was kind, gentle, and informative and spoke in a way that eased my 9 year old daughter prior to her treatment. My daughter had to get 2 teeth extracted and Dr. Kang walked her through every step of the way. She exemplifies what every healthcare provider should be like and is what everyone would wish for in a provider. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Kang, she is truly and angel. I also had a wonderful experience with Ana from the front desk. I have spent countless of hours reaching out to multiple dental offices trying to find a place that would take my daughter, only to be passed around to different staff members or being told they would get back to me to no avail. Ana has made setting up an appointment a breeze and was very prompt with checking my insurance, consulting with Dr. Kang and getting back to me. The dental assistant working with Dr. Kang was also such a blessing and was very patient and kind to my daughter. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. I had a great experience with my first visit today at the Duarte office . Office is nice and clean. No long waiting like some other dental offices even with an appointment. Right after my x-rays taken , Dr. Katie came in and explained what problems I might have by examining my x-rays. She then checked my teeth thoroughly and confirmed the problems were what she expected. She explained in details why I might have those problems and what treatments she would be giving me. The dental hygienist was also very careful and professional when cleaning my teeth and measuring my gums or teeth to see where I need an intensive cleaning. Took my 2 year old son to Loyal Dentistry for his first dentist visit and it was an excellent experience.
