Delivery people would not allow me to disconnect the washer (since they said they couldn't due to bad connections) so they could haul away the old one on that day. Old one had to sit in my renters living room for two more days and we had to put aside another whole day to wait for someone to pick the old washer up. Delivery men were rude and did not understand or speak good english. When I called to ask for refund on haul away since it was such poor service I was told I would get a call back and I never did. I called again and this time was told they could give me I could only a $25 certificate and I was not allowed to speak with a supervisor. They said it was not possible for me to speak with a supervisor. Terrible customer service all around and I will not be doing business with lowes in the future for any of my homes. read more

I use TightBond III on all my projects as I am a woodworker. There's a national promotion on this particular size of TB III, it is nation wide at most stores. I made sure to check the location closest to me and see if it is available, it is, but not online. I drove there, checked it out and then cashier told me that the price is not what it says on the website. I spoke to their manager (Mario) who said the same thing. I would not have driven down to the store if I it didn't specify on their website that there's a promotion. I wanted to get a shop light, a small shop vac and a few other things besides the glue, and I am a Lowe's loyalty member, but I didn't and left after no effort was made to verify the promotion or why it actually exists online but not at the store. read more

The other was an older female white with blonde hair and glasses. She was rude Af. When we inquired about where they might be she laughed and said they didn't have any more: they did in fact have two in stock but they were two small. Her and her fellow associate decided to talk shit and make small talk amongst themselves after we walked away. We were only 15-20 feet away and could still hear them. I paid extra to have my order delivered same day. I they had a 10 hour window to deliver. Did not show up.! No call , no text not even a email to let me know my order was delayed. I call the next day I was told it would be delivered between 12:30 and 1:00 . It's 2:00.. I call the store all I was told it was on its way.... I asked to speak with a manager and I was hung up on. I would be more understanding i I was notified my order was not going to be delivered any why. Over 30 hours later still NO Grill. I should at least be reimbursed my $40 for same-day delivery. I purchased a washer/dryer set from Lowe's over a week ago (Friday). On that day, I was promised delivery on Thursday the next week. On Thursday, they called and rescheduled it for Saturday. I was promised delivery between 1:30-5:30. THEN, it was rescheduled AGAIN! When I called and asked how they were going to fix it, the manager said they wouldn't. WOW!! We were very skeptical about using Lowe's for a tile install in our master bathroom, but the project came out more beautiful than we could've imagined. The flooring department was sooooo helpful in choosing our tile and grout color and then getting us set up with a wonderful company for install. Kluge Brothers Flooring performed the measurements, demolition and install. All the while, Lowe's was in contact every step of the way to check in on the project. But this time around is at this location of : 13650 Orchard Parkway Westminster, CO 80234 (303)-453-8040 Thursday JUNE 18 2009 : Since Hubs needs several more items for his never ending home projects, refurbushing, remodelling etc etc, to this Lowe's we came, conquer and went... I bet Hubs was indeed a happy camper to purchase all the items he needed. I cant deny I can get tired easily in this kind of store since one is massive to even walk around in. The staffs are indeed knowledgeable, approachable and very helpful since we need their expertize in getting certain tools or items we needed. They are ever so willing to assist you in any shape or form. The biggest purchase for that day was : * 26 Gallon Compressor Kit * Angel Finish Nailer and other items such as : * 48" Wallboard Square * Suede Apron * 14 piece Spade Bit * 24" I BOX Level * 12" Combo Square and many more items that I cant recall. Luckily, we managed to get all our stuffs in our "Black Diamond" safely to our house, since I heard, Lowe's charged $80 for delivery for bulky items. One of the nicest Lowe's we have been to. After exploring Home Depot and feeling somewhat disappointed, my husband and I ventured over to Lowe's to check out what other options we had. We instantly liked how organized the store felt and had no problems finding what we needed. We were super happy to see the variety of wood floors we could choose from. They had so many options within our budget, that is was hard for us to decide! We actually ended up getting some sample pieces to take home before making our decision. When we came back the next week, the checkout was super quick and easy. We had placed our order online and they had it pulled out for us on a cart when we arrived. We then parked out front to load it, and off we went! We will definitely be using Lowe's again for more home renovations! read more

Went to the store little later to get some more wood and cut it, and some ponytail guy basically talked to me for 10 to 15 min how he can't spend 30 mins cutting wood. I went to Lowe's to look for paint colors and Ashton who was at the paint counter was extremely helpful that I had to leave a review for Lowe's. She went out of her way to ask if I needed any help. I did and showed her a few pictures I was looking for. She was extremely knowledgeable and really showed her expertise when she was able to locate the colors I was looking for, was familiar with the names, or knew similar popular colors that would be a good match. She also was incredible informative, showed me pamphlets I could draw inspiration from, she was patient since I didn't really have a plan going in. She also explained what paint was best to use. I bought all the paint colors I needed and am extremely happy with Ashton's customer service. I would definitely come here again! read more

When we first started coming to this Lowe's I would say it was a 5 star plus store. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and had positive energy. Now on any given day you can never find a sales associate. When you do finally stumble upon one there is a line or they appear bothered to help you. Today was the straw that brought the camels back when I heard a sales associate bashing me for accidentally dropping a product. Incredibly unprofessional that he was slamming my character and integrity as I was coming up to re purchase the item. For that reason alone I chose to not repurchase and exit the store. Over the last two years, Lowe's and this store have significantly declined. Their best employees are now gone and replaced by new inexperienced employees lacking knowledge of their products or their systems. To cut money they've been laying of their more experienced employees as they have to pay them more and they've cut their pro desk hours. In addition, they've instituted policies that make returns more difficult. Their inventory accuracy, even prior to covid, has been getting continually worse making online shopping difficult. Their app isn't that useful for ordering items and it takes longer to pull orders then their competitors. There competitors are also faster at finding and bringing your order to you. All these changes have made it difficult to shop there and I will go to Home Depot or ace before shopping there. read more

I came in looking for something specific... and encountered the 2 extremes of their customer service. One person told me they didn't sell what I was looking for and upon walking around, another associate showed me exactly where it was and made helpful suggestions and recommendations. I'm happy I was able to find what I was looking for... it just took a bit longer. I think for a better experience, find the people who are super engaged and don't be shy about inquiring about their expertise. Be patient, it might take 3-4 people to find them but when you do, it's easy sailing. Also strange, self check out is a lot faster than a cashier... bizarre. read more

UPDATE: My previous review left this Lowe's with less than a raving review. However, the customer service I was provided with yesterday was nothing short of elite. Barry in electronics (?) helped me get all of the screws, bolts & brackets I needed to assemble a bed frame. He was patient, kind, professional and double checked that all 32 screws I needed were the right length. Barry also explained how to do my project in great detail. GIVE BARRY A RAISE! I recently moved to the area and this Lowe's is very close by. The last 3 visits here left me feeling beyond frustrated. The first visit i came to purchase touch up paint. I grabbed a small can of the Valspar paint in the white can, the same brand, color & finish I purchased when painting. I handed it to the man behind the counter and he mixed up my color. When he handed it back to me it was a different can of paint - but assured me that it had the same eggshell finish - and he promised me i wouldn't be able to tell where i had touched up. He was wrong, and now I have blotchy shiny spots all over my wall where I touched up my paint. This is an easy fix, but a complete waste of my time and money. The second visit was right after Christmas. I came in to purchase two sets of blinds. I only needed on set cut. It took over 50 minutes to locate a person who could help. There were people walking by who I had to stop to ask for help. they would page someone and nobody would show up. This happened 3-4 times. The store was not busy this day as there were many employees standing around in groups of 3-4 who we had to interrupt their lallygagging to ask for help. When the man finally showed up, he was incredibly rude. The 3rd and final visit was this past Wednesday. I came in to order drapes. The ones I liked had to be special ordered in the length I wanted. Because there are many similar styles & fabric in the same color, which is hard to determine online, I asked the woman working in this department if she could help scan them& order them in the length I needed. While I understand I can do this myself online, I wanted to make sure I was ordering the correct style I wanted, which is why I took the time to come into the store. Upon asking the woman working in this the department, the woman abruptly slammed her hands on the counter and told me I could do this online and didn't need her to do this. Although she is correct, I explained I would feel more comfortable knowing I ordered the exact ones I saw in store by having her scan the barcode and pull up the one I wanted. She then became aggravated and told me she could do this for me, since I seemed to not understand that I was capable of doing this on my own, but she wouldn't be able to enter my credit card information because "she did not have MY credit card." I thought she was making a joke. Nope, she was being dead serious. I left the store without ordering any Lowe's, I am truly disappointment with the consistently poor service I have been receiving in your store. I would love to support your business as it is conveniently located to my home, however, I will be taking my business elsewhere until this situation improves. read more

Nothing agains the store, comparable prices and nice store, but 90% of the employees have no idea what they are doing. Where the crap do you find these people? This is one of my favorite stores. I had a good experience buying a grill here last year, the sales staff exceeded my expectations, the grill I wanted to buy was not in stock, but they reserved one for me on the next shipment, and even called me when it arrived. The staff are also very friendly and service oriented, while not being overly aggressive with greetings and questions like their competitor. I prefer not to be interrupted while reading a product label, or when I am on the phone and the staff here seem to respect that. But when I do have a question or need help there always seems to be staff available to assist me. The story is usually very clean, well stocked and organized, an indication they spend considerable time maintaining a good stock and presentation, and less time harassing customers. I have too many projects and home to list, but I can say I plan to return to this store for many years to come for the supplies I need to finish all of them. read more

I felt lost buying light bulbs. I stood in the aisle wondering where I had gone so wrong. How could I be so stupid about light bulbs? The Lowes gentleman who helped me did so quickly, efficiently, and without judgement of my clear and present stupidity. This always happens at my local Lowes; I come in with stupid, mind boggling questions, and their staff graciously answers them. They will drop whatever they are doing to walk you to the correct location for whatever you need to find. Their staff are uuber knowledgable. It's always impressive. My only bad point is that their inventory is a little light. About 20-30% of te time, they are having to direct me to another store to pick up what I need--- and to be honest, at that point, I just shoot up to the giant Home Depot. On 2 occasions now, what I needed was not carried by Lowe's and they went online and found local businesses (including Home Depot) that carried what I needed. Horrible experience. I hate to generalize this review for the whole store, considering there were several employees who were kind and helpful. However, one employee in particular ruined the entire experience for us; John, in plumbing. Never have I experienced such terrible customer service than this evening while my husband and I were stopping in to grab some items in order to finish a project. We waited patiently for over 25min while a kind young man had gone out of his way to page some guy named John in plumbing so that we could get two pipes cut. When he finally came, it was obviously he was frazzled. We greeted him with kindness and told him what we were wanting. He quickly dismissed our request and asked if there was any way to modify the project in order to avoid him having to cut pipe. When we said no, he quickly became agitated and asked that we come back another time. He began to complain that we weren't giving him enough time to do what we were asking considering the store was closing in 10 minutes. He was also stating that on top of the small amount of time available, he was also being paged to another location in the store. He tried very hard to dismiss our needs in order to tend to something else entirely. We told him we had been waiting for well over 20 minutes and that we were willing to pay more in order to make his task easier by making less cuts. He then started to educate us on how many hours Lowe's is open during the week and what those hours consisted of, essentially telling us that we had no business asking for this task at this moment. This John guy was a real ass. No respect, no consideration, and no care. We already had it in our minds that Lowe's is not a place that would receive our business based on previous experiences. This evening only confirmed our opinion. This persons behavior should not go unrecognized for how disrespectful and rude he was. Ridiculous. read more

I had to return alot of things as they did or did not look good in the new basement, and they always took the returns with no questions. I probably was in there over 20 times a week. The Garden Center was closed. We talked to Assistant Manager Nate who cheerfully opened the Garden Center Gate so we could enter without exposure to the indoor air. I picked out 2 doors paid 45.00 to get started on the process and the appointment center to have someone come out to measure can't seem to call me for some reason and when I speak to a manger there's "notes" that claim this Amanda person has called us 3 times.. no she hasn't. So being that I'm reasonable and there could be an issue with the phone (highly unlikely) I give them my cell number as back up if we don't answer the first number.. still nothing. Very unimpressed with the service here. Wanted to purchase a gazebo and entire patio furniture set. Got passed off to 3 different people trying to locate the item, eventually found out that they were out of stock, backordered, and the store has a negative inventory. After more than 30 minutes, I ended up calling other stores and found one to order on my own. The staff wasn't helpful at all in finding anything I needed and I got left by staff members twice in the middle of a conversation. Had better luck on the phone with customer service. read more

With any home project I head to this specific Lowes! They have very friendly people who will help you to find the exact item/tool you need for any given project. I have received feedback from their experiences and advice on how to handle certain situations. Wide variety of tools for a reasonable price! The parking lot is great too! wide open and large. I've been to many other Lowes and HomeDepots where the lot is just mixed in with many other businesses and it just doesnt make sense when youre hauling large planks of wood through a crowded and busy lot. This Lowe's is not a good choice. I went here in search for a pipe for a kitchen vent. I was directed to the "dryer vent" Section. We went there and the guy who directed us to the section came by to check to make sure we found it. No biggie. We found what we needed for the kitchen vent needed. We then needed a dryer vent and a associate was near by but doesn't work in the section. No biggie. She grabbed another guy who works in the section and had a slight attitude. He found the vent covers and said we would need a adapter. I said that won't work and than asked why. We explained that we are building a hose for a kitchen vent. Than they talked behind our backs and said something along the lines of "we wont want to be liable" and "Let they do what they want to do" WTF? Why not tell us this won't work out instead of talking behind our backs?? We said we would go to Home Depot and they said "whatever". I won't be back buying anything "venting" related as they do not seem to know what they are talking about. read more
