I really like this Lowe's. I come in randomly for plants (and almost always check out the plant clearance section), soil, tools, and sometimes a Christmas tree. It's just a well-run store with plenty of helpful people. Speaking of helpful people, today Anthony in the lumber department made my day. I was DREADING getting wooden bed slats cut for my bedframe, but I had put it off for too long. So, in 100-degree weather, I trekked with a sample board in hand into what I thought was going to be a whole complicated ordeal. Anthony made sure the wood we chose was comprobable to my sample while also being budget-friendly (yes, I was being cheap). He took his time selecting good pieces, cut them, rang up my order, and helped me to my car. Such amazing customer service! Nothing I dreaded about the trip (confusion, a long wait, lugging heavy pieces of wood to my car in the heat) actually happened thanks to Anthony. We have established a couple things about this Lowe's. They hire one employee for every 100 customers and they don't train them or educate them at all about tools or HomeGoods of any kind. I asked to employees or a very specific item would be located. Neither of them had a clue. I ended up walking around the place trying to find it and couldn't even though I know they carry it. I finally just gave up and went to Home Depot down the street. If you know exactly what you need and exactly where it's at then your trip to Lowe's may or may not be so bad but if you need any kind of assistance or anyone to help you with knowledge or education about what you're trying to buy, I would spare yourself the absolute misery and headache of going to Lowe's. At Home Depot it's almost always a challenge to find what you want and it's even more of a challenge to find someone to help you! This Lowe's is my go-to stop for all things home improvement. Be it for paint, wall patching, gardening, swapping out my empty Blue Rhino propane tank for a full one, tools, etc. I even bought our new pre-lit fake Christmas tree here since ours was on its last legs. I also enjoy their live Christmas Tree area and we've bought our live tree here the past several years. Prices are reasonable, the Lowe's app is helpful and the My Lowe's Rewards program is beneficial. I've always had good service here as well. Was able to use their Minute Key kiosk for duplicating some keys for my daughter. Only downside was they aren't able to duplicate car keys. The crazy thing? When we asked, they told us to try Home Depot. LOL! read more

This store has the worst customer service. I waited at the paint counter for 40 minutes and an associate did not show up to help. I ranged the customer service button multiple times and that did not work at all. After waiting there that long, I decide to go to Home Depot down the street and I was able to get paint instantly with pleasant customer service and recommendations. Came here to get some grass seed, mulch and weed barrier for my yard. The gardening location was pretty messy. I could see it wasn't stocked very well, and some areas had broken packages of dirt. It's a shame, since the inside of the store was pretty upkept and aisles were clean. I prefer Lowe's over the other Home Improvement store. Hope they can improve on the gardening section. Bought a new washer and dryer online and the dryer was defective, went into the store to return it and get it replaced. To our surprise the store does not take online returns, basically all Lowe's are disconnected from what the customer service told us. Home Depot doesn't have this issue, if you order online you can return it for replacement or refund at any location. Anyhow, 3 customer service representatives at this store: Yvette, Andy and Ariana, were very helpful and called their management to get this defective return approved. So what they were able to do is get us a refund and we had to buy a replacement. The new dryer is from this location and it runs well. Now the washer is acting up but since it's been more than 48 hours that we purchased it, we have to wait for a warranty repair person to come and look at this and it's more than a week out until they can come and fix the washer! It's so sad how this whole thing works with Lowe's! I will never purchase any appliances from their online store or company again! read more

Lowe's Gardening Section On March 9, 2026, bought 3 perennials advertised for 3 for $12. Was given sales price for two, except for the lavender plant. It rung up at regular price of $6.98. Showed advertisement at the return counter, and received my sales price. March 13, 2026, bought 3 more perennials, and same thing happened. For the lavender plant it rang up at regular price. He called the lady in charge of gardens and she said lavender was not on sale. I told him about the ad and the sales sign were posted on 4 perennials. He said he would remove the sign. So, buyers beware, that you are not cheated when your items are rung up. Check your receipt before you leave and bring the ad with you. read more

I want to let people that have a Lowe's credit card know something they may not be aware of. I just canceled my Lowe's account because I just noticed this morning there is $1.98 fee to receive your statement. If I have to pay a fee to get my bill, I will not lo ger give you my business. I do not pay a fee to get my electric bill, my water bill, my credit card bill, Mt cable bill. It is a SCAMZ for profit. Just like my Insurance company, FARM BUREAU charges a fee to use a credit card. Any fee they receive from the bank is a right off on their taxes for their cost to do business. Again, I don't pay these fees for my credit card usage for my food purchases at a fast food restaurant or grocery store, Walmart, or any other major business. I use my credit card buying gas and don't pay a surcharge. If people would stand up to this abuse, it would stop when people start standing up against it and they start losing business. read more

Although I paid for haul away service for my old refrigerator, they have not picked it up and have missed two scheduled appointments without even attempting to contact me. Lied to me that the pick up would happen that day. Lied to me that a "dedicated team" would reach out to me shortly (no one ever did). Our son-in-law bought us a $500 weber gas grill on June 15, 2025. It was supposed to be delivered on the 19th. On the 18th we got a notice that it had been delivered - and it hadn't. Called Lowe's Customer Support, talked to several employees and 3 different managers - went to the store and spoke to another manager. Everyone said they would look into it and get back to us next day - NOBODY, NOT ONE, ever got in touch. Tried to call the delivery service (outsourced by Lowes) on two different days and got hung up on twice. Finally got a manager to promise it would be sent the next week (2 weeks after purchase) and it wasn't. It appeared on our front walk (wrong place) on a day 3 weeks later when we were not home and not expecting delivery - that required some specific instructions to the delivery people in advance. Nothing but frustration. If Lowes hires a company to do the assembly and delivery you would expect the delivery company would have to have some sort of communication with the company that hired them. No one we talked to at Lowe's knew anything or followed through or was even able to even get in touch with their own contracted delivery service. We were polite and patient with the Lowes people, not pushy or obnoxious, but could not get anyone to follow through to resolve the situation - though we think some of them may have tried. Seemingly well meaning employees for the most part and a ridiculous, dysfunctional system of customer support or satisfaction. We won't be buying any expensive items from Lowe's again or be recommending Lowes' to anyone any time soon. read more

I wish I could have given a zero. I ordered a washer and drier for the Columbus Day sale, the charges were incorrect. I was over charged. Delivery and install was to be the next day, but they showed and parts were missing. So no install was done. Day 2 was an alleged scheduled install, only for the delivery truck to show with the missing part from the day prior, and no install. Day 3, they show up early, then left (even though dispatch said they would wait 15 min). I arrived in 7 minutes, and the drivers left, and no install. I saw them driving down the road by my home. Lowes allegedly called the drivers but no one answered. Day 4 still no install and no credit on the overcharges. I asked for a pick up and refund. Now I am dealing with having to be there for a pick up. Again missing more time from work. Such a joke. I would never reccommend purchasing anything from there. read more

Janet, your head cashier on February 18, 2025 at 8:38pm has absolutely horrible customer service skills. I am absolutely appalled that Lowe's as an employer would have somebody who has such poor Customer Service skills as their head cashier. The fact that I just went to do a return and exchange because I had a sales tax exemption and when I explained why I was coming in I said I have a return and exchange. I'm revising the exact same thing I have an exemption Lowe's only has one type of exemption in the system that would apply to this. It being sales tax exemption, you would think your head cashier would know when you're trying to make their life easier by telling them you have a exemption then the reply you get is what kind of exemption and I explained it sales tax. Then being, oddly looked at like why would you bring this back...I got the return receipt signed for it re-purchased it. I gave my phone number for my sales tax exemption and then I was told do you have an ID that matches this. No it won't have any ID because the sales tax exemption applies to the business there is no business information for a small business that an employer is going to have. Am I supposed to bring in my EIN number to prove to you, that I can use this... not only with that not even prove or satisfy what this is. It is absolutely irrelevant to ask if I know that a phone number has an exemption. I am signing for that exemption with the receipt that clearly states by signing for that you agree in these terms and conditions in our Lowe's sales tax exemption program.Then giving them my rewards phone number to Janet then being told, do you have an ID for that. I looked at her dumbfounded and said no that is my father's that I have because it's linked to him then being told "you really should have an ID for that." I told her I'm giving you the phone number it's linked to that account so that phone number is what it is if I'm giving you my sales tax exemption that's linked to that account. That's what that is as well and I even expressly said it's not coming out of your check, so what are you concerned with? On top of that I told her that even if you go to self check out and you assist your own self in the checkout process, the employee is going to come over scan their badge and print out the sales tax slip and you sign for it there. Janet should not be somebody who is working in your Customer Service department if I am writing this long of a reasoning behind it it's because she upset me with her rude attitude and disrespectful demeanor, and tone.I left that store pissed off. I then went over to Home Depot and purchased the product over there with absolutely no problem and great customer service and being greeted with a smile to which Lowe's did not offer nor did Janet. I then came back to Lowe's and returned the product because I told them I do not need it from this store and I do not need it based on her attitude her in this instance being Janet.I really do hope that a member of management reaches out to me not only the general manager of the store, but the operations manager and the sales manager reach out to me because I want them to know that they lost me as a customer from even bothering to go into the store to shop. I not only will give you a zero star review or one star review were applicable with all of the information in here as well. But it goes to show you why the store only has a 2.5 star review on Google. I also would like to point out an OSHA violation and a building code violation that I witnessed from JanetAnd leaving the store at 8:53 PM, Janet decided to close the front vestibule door and lock it while business hours were still operational, which is a fire code and a building code and an OSHA violation code. Went to Lowe's in Rancho Cucamonga to get a new washing machine. I figured I could get the military 10% discount off the washer and save a little money. My wife and I bought a washer but were later told they don't honor the military discount on big ticket items. The salesperson checked and the washer we picked was in stock. We added delivery, haul away and installation. I bought new hoses for the new washer and graciously received the 10% discount on the $20 hoses. Thank you so much Lowe's. The following day I received an email telling me the entire order had been cancelled. I called Lowe's and was told they don't have the washer we picked in stock so they just cancelled everything. I was disappointed and wished someone would have called to arrange for a different washer. It was just very low class and lacked good customer service. I went in to buy some potting soil then I found a beautiful huge pot that was calling my name. In the meantime in the background I could hear a ladies voice telling every customer checking out about a huge sale on everything " right over there" (as she points to a table) several people went over to the area and made additional purchases. The best part about Suzies sales pitch is she wasn't doing it in an annoying way and was super cheerful and friendly!! The other employee I want to highlight is Brenden ( remember the huge pot) he was so courteous about loading that huge pot along with many bags of potting soil and didn't once give me the stink eye... and when he closed the trunk he said "Have a great day" Great experience today ...sure beats the times you have to go on a 20 minute hike to find a employee willing to help .. I purchase a washer and dryer 2 years ago, I purchased the extra protection plan as well, I have had to use it as my washer has a tub issue, they come out say it needs a part but because nothing else is wrong the extended warranty rejects it and say its because I do not maintain the washer. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from Lowe's online, believing it was a quality brand and from a quality retailer. Boy was I wrong! And Customer Service for both companies has been beyond useless. The unit freezes everything in the refrigerator section. It is at 24 degrees in the fresh food section. I called slightly outside of their return policy of 48 hours of delivery to report the problem. I should have just returned the unit but I didn't know the process. Service tech has been out twice and now needs to order a part that could be over a week for delivery. It was defective when delivered. It appears I have a brand new machine that will not be usable for weeks and Frigidaire and Lowes don't care at all. I called Frigidaire Customer Service trying to get them to just replace the unit and was disconnected 3 times and when I requested to speak to a supervisor was put on hold indefinitely. I gave up after being on hold for 30 minutes. Defective unit from a company that doesn't care! And to make matters worse now the water dispenser just stopped working. I wish there was a minus score, BUYER BEWARE of buying kitchen cabinets from this place, it's been a total nightmare dealing with them. We paid for the cabinets in November and have had nothing but problems. Starting with the quality which lots of the 30k cabinets being a cheap cardboard type material. Some doors came damaged and the replacements were also damaged, took 3 times to get it right. We're still waiting for several other pieces to finish the kitchen 3 1/2 months later. Promises made and broken over and over again. It's been a nightmare that seems never ending. Do yourselves a favor and don't commit the same mistake we made. I purchased some appliances and blinds recently at this Lowe's. On both occasions the service was great and very attentive. Although I had to wait about 15 mins for blind cutting on a Saturday (understandable), Jack was really helpful in fixing a blind that ended up being too big for my window. The manager (didn't get his name) also tried to assist and was apologetic for the wait. What I liked was that due to short staff the manager didn't hesitate to jump in, these days most managers just expect their employees to sort it out. On this last weekend I stopped by twice and on both occasions Yolanda in the appliance area helped me by showing me options and stock availability. I did end up purchasing my appliances here, largely because they made it easy and sales rep was accessible. Yolanda was great, also very patient, friendly and helpful. THEY SOLD ME A DOOR THAT DOES NOT FIT MY OPENING! NOW THEY WILL NOT MAKE IT RIGHT! Very dissatisfied with the service received. Purchased a security screen door for the door from my backyard to my garage. The door frame is TOO short and the threshold is TOO short. Lowe's claims this is a perfect fit - no way to correct the gap at the bottow of the door approximately 2 inches by 1 inch. Purpose of the door was to let air circulate in the garage. Now I have a rodent problem which has caused additional expenses (exterminator and damage in my garage). Door was also defective - It was a Gateway door (mfg by a Lowe's company) The paint started chipping off when 3 week old. They are willing to replace the door but not willing to make the door fit my opening. If I return the door, they are not willing to provide a full refund. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and disabled. Shame on Lowe's for taking advantage of a senior citizen! The sales person helped be pick out locks that could be re-keyed and told me the installer could re-key the locks. Installer refused!!!! They make promises and do not live up to their word.
