Items are often misplaced and if you are lucky they are somewhere in the same area. Still wastes plenty of time I check on-line if item is available and bay and aisle number not to wonder for 20 minutes trying to find it. After spending thousands of dollars on materials and tools last half a year or, perhaps tens of thousands of dollars on parts and pieces over last decade including appliances and installations I'd assume that I may had earned the right (or was it the privilege pardon my French) to be treated like somewhat valued customer or anyone close to it. Guess not yet, perhaps never. Gal answering the phone was extremely condescending. All I asked was to fix their "Clearance" price on-line if she is unable to honor it. She did neither. Just interrupted me while I was still talking, wished me a good night and hung up. Ok. There are few other stores, not many if you prefer to actually grab your items not from Bezos-Mart, but they are still there. Being polite is not expensive. Showing empathy in customer service environment used to be considered a virtue unless you are affiliated with Verizon. Oh well...tis what it is. Appliance quality also went down. Fridge from 2015 served almost 10 years before needing minor repair, the one from 2025 barely lasted 6 months and although it got fixed under warranty it took almost 3 weeks, few days for initial show up and to diagnose, then time to order the part and then come back to install plus 2 fool fridges of wasted/thrown away food in less than a year. I won't do business with Lowes again. A product is only as good as the customer service. This location's is awful. I had to get hard-nosed to get anyone to take me seriously. It hasnt been resolved. I payed for instalation of a gas range with delivery. It was delivered last night, but, excuse, excuse, excuse, not installed. I took yesterday off, now today too. I had to go down to Lowes twice to light a fire under them. Ive bought 3 couplings, no-one has showed. I've contacted a gas plumber and he'll take care of it tomorrow. I went to check out and the clerk asked if I wanted to save 20% on my purchase. my son was with me and noted that I could save over $500, do I said yes. went through the credit approval process, got approved for an amount well in excess of my purchase amount but the savings wasn't over $500. the clerk couldn't understand why and called another clerk who explained that it wasn't 20% savings on the entire order. this was a classic bait and switch, with Lowe's gaining all sorts of personal info and then refused to stand behind their original representation. This review is specifically about the Pocatello, Lowes. I spend roughly 250,000 a year at Lowes servicing all the apartment I own. My experience here in Pocatello has been negligent at best. I paid $13,850 to have some siding replaced, and my roof to be redone. When they came to do my siding, instead of replacing it, as the contract we have says, the filled all the broken parts in with caulk, and left it looking awful. They filled areas as large as both my fist with plain white caulk. My roof was supposed to be FINISHED, by July 05 2018. It is now almost September, and my roof has not even began. Despite the fact that I have paid in full, Lowes has stood my up NINE times, with literally not so much as a call to let me know that I'm being stood up. The leaks in my roof have caused damage to my apartments in the time I have been waiting for Lowes to honor their agreements. I've moved all of my Pocatello business to Home Depot. read more

I have been shopping at Lowes for the last few years did a few Reno's and used some of the basic functions Lowes has to offer. This is going to be a collective review of my experience with Lowes Pocatello branch. First used contractors from Lowes after I ripped out my kitchen to install my cabinets, and kitchen sink, stove the whole nine. My wife and I wanted to use Lowes to streamline some of our projects. (Don't ever do this I'll explain.) But before the project could take off, the cabinet specialist didn't order the correct cabinets or cabinet doors. But before we could reorder or ask for a fix, the contractors used left my house in disrepair and abandoned the project. (All they had to do was install the cabinets, I had other people installing the floors and tiles. I instead had to hire a private contractor to get the work completed from Lowes leaving me high and dry and abandoned. Lowes reimbursed me and apologized plus I got a decent discount on some other elements of our renovation so I took it on the chin. (Big mistake) Recently wanting to get the doors replaced I thought doors are more simple than cabinets and this shouldn't take any work, or problems. (Big mistake.) Had to cancel the contract with Lowes and tell them to cancel the bid because not only were they grossly incompetent at completing a simple task, they again tried to fuck me over. This Lowes is one of the worst Lowes I have been through. The workers ignore their duties, if ignoring customer in need, including the elderly. Workers talking about their weekend or leave their station without notifying management they are taking a lunch break. Employees complaining about personal problems to customers giving an unpleasant and dreaded feeling when leaving the store. So called 'specialists' not caring whether Lowes gets a contract, bid, or money. I suggest going to home Depot across the way. The staff are friendly, they explain in detail what needs to be done, and are timely and efficient with the company time and dime. If I were an executive manager or regional manager I would seriously keep my eye on this Lowes as it's performance is low and there are always signs for help needed/wanted meaning the climate for employees must be in the tank, and clearly their customer care, and professionalism is lacking. read more

We've been in several times. It's usually difficult to find help. I would have ignored that, but an old biddy really annoyed me. We checked out at the self checkout. Apparently, the terminal we were at wasn't working, even though the light was on and there was no indication of anything wrong. An employee, the grandmother from hell, actually shook her finger at my husband and chastised him. The employee working the area explained that the terminal wasn't working. The terminal should have been locked out. To wag your finger at a customer like he's a misbehaving child... very unprofessional and it sends people straight over to Home Depot, which is where we are right now. No finger wagging, curmudgeonly employees here! Just another grandmotherly type of lady who was very helpful and won't give young children nightmares. read more

I've been trying to find out how to give a specific delivery person a compliment, and I hope that this will do the job. Lowe's was delivering an appliance to my neighbors across the street. I was struggling to get a chair up some stairs and into my house and I wasn't having very much success. One of the delivery guys (Kyle from the Pocatello, ID store) saw me and ran across the street and asked if he could help. I gratefully said 'yes' and he carried it up the stairs and I asked him to put it into the house, which he willingly did. I was so grateful to him for going above and beyond. While my son was doing a home repair, I became the "runner" for supplies. Not knowing what I was looking for, and somewhat overwhelmed with all the choices of electrical supplies, I was stressed as to what to purchase. Mark (Pocatello, ID) came to my rescue. He assured me he would assist me and guided me in the right direction. I thanked him and told him I knew I would be back. Lo and behold, I've been back every single weekend for 5 weekends in a row, sometimes up to 3 x's a day! I always seek out Mark for assistance. He is knowledgeable in all areas of home repairs and is always eager to help!! Mark, you were a Godsend and I am going to miss seeing you as our project is close to being finished. He is definitely a real asset to Lowes. If there were more Marks in the world, the world would be a better place!! read more

It's hard to say anything bad about Lowes in Chubbuck. The staff is friendly, they have a good military discount (10%), and the product line is great. I go to Lowes at least twice a week, and they always have what I'm looking for. I get my propane and my drinking water from them, and just about about every tool I own, from the table saw and mitre saw to hammers, screws, paint, and lumber. I used to be a Home Depot man, but with the convenient location and friendly, helpful staff, I've become a Lowes man. read more

If you are planning on buying appliances make sure that you ask if they can remove and install a dishwasher. They cannot and you have to have a plumber do it. If you buy a stove make damn sure u buy the cord to plug it in because the is sold separately. Delivery guys are amazing the sells people suck all the balls and don't bother to specify certain things that are important. read more

Horrible customer service! I usually do all my shopping here for home projects, DIY, lumber, etc. But after the treatment I received this weekend i will be looking elsewhere first for my needs. I placed an order on Monday for some lumber and was told that I could just pay for it when I picked it up on Friday, well Friday comes around and I am unable to pick my order up, so I call the store and tell them I will pick it up early in the morning on Saturday. All was well, or so I thought. I get to the store early Saturday morning to get my lumber so as to complete my project for the weekend, come to find out that no one apparently knows anything about my order and I keep getting passed along to the next "customer service associate". One lady actually laughed in my face and told me she had no power to help and was extremely rude. I finally got to a manager and still nothing was done to correct the situation. I was finally able to place ANOTHER order which now requires me to wait another week to finish my project. Very unprofessional and extremely rude. This was the worst customer service I have encountered anywhere. Be wary if you have to shop here. read more

We contacted Lowe's and arranged a meeting with one of their representatives. On July 29th,2020 he came to our home to give us an estimate to install 22 Ft. of Galvanized fence and put in a gate and install a 4Ft. Gate making the fence about 18 Ft. He gave us an estimate of $800.00 and said that $600.00 of that would be labor. We agreed to have Lowe's do the job and the fencing and supplies would come from Lowe's. He said it would be 2 1/2 weeks before he could get to it. After a couple of weeks, I decided to Contact Richard Jensen at Lowe's by phone, I wanted him to give me a firm date to get my fencing. I ended up leaving a message for Jensen with the woman who answered. Got no response so I called again the next day left a message with the woman who answered and got his cell phone number. Again no response. Then I called Jensen's Cell and left a voice message, no response. I then sent him a text message, no response. Finally, I sent him an email that was included with the emailed confirmation from Lowe's. Again No RESPONSE! Finally, my wife called Lowe's and s[poke with a manager at Lowe's who said her name was Stacey. Stacey told my wife that she apologized and stated "that was not the way Lowe's did business" and she would get back to us after Talking to Jensen's supervisor. It's been about a week and no-one has made any effort to contact us and we are calling our Master Card Bank to make sure they do not use the credit card number we gave to Jensen. We would caution anyone who thinks this Store in Pocatello can or will be honest and truthful in their dealings with the public. I don't know how they stay in business! Today we called to talk with the Manager Stacy but my wife ended up speaking to Jody we told them to cancel any thought of doing any business with us ever. Great staff and the military discount is far and above what Home Depot offers. I would love to give them 5 stars but the quality of the lumber (or should I say lack of quality) they now offer prevents me from doing that. The lumber is twisted and split board after board. The last couple times I had to go through 25 plus pieces to find one peace acceptable for use. I have been forced to go to Home Depot for my lumber which is of a far better quality, which I hate because I despise Home Depot. read more

I don't like writing negative reviews but Lowes sure earned this one. I purchased a sink faucet in a sealed package. When I got it to the jobsite (my mother-in-laws house) I found the sealed package was only sealed on the outside--all the bags inside had been torn open and parts were missing. I contacted customer service (wherever they are located) and they forwarded the complaint to a store in Montana!! I was contacted by a confused management in Montana but we straightened it out and the complaint went back to customer service (wherever that is). Customer service contacted me and said they forwarded the complaint to Pocatello. Pocatello never called. Contacted customer service again and they promised Pocatello would call me within 24 hours. Pocatello never called. I didn't ask for a refund, I didn't ask for an adjustment, I just wanted to know how what appeared to be a factory sealed box was full of obviously returned product. Returned product sold as new, empty promises from customer service, I tried to help Lowes correct a problem privately and they just blew me off. Why would I ever shop at Lowes again? I would not recommend buying fencing from Lowe's to anyone! My mom bought vinyl fencing that was ordered June 13, 2019 and was supposed to be installed no later than July 2, 2019. The fencing is still not installed and it is nearing August! I called multiple times and they gave varying excuses. The last time I called, I was told that Rick still needed to order the fence but needed to know what kind and that it would take a week and a half from when he ordered it. I told the supervisor that it was clearly laid out in the contract when Rick claimed he was ordering it initially and Rick had even showed us pictures. Rick collected my mother's check on June 13th and we continue to wait to have the fencing even started. My mom has been waiting to move into her new town house for the fence so her dogs do not run into the road. It has been incredibly inconvenient for her! We will be doing business with another fencing company and I do not recommend anyone use Lowe's for fencing! read more

This store is a joke he bought a washer and dryer three months ago brought it home the door was scratched I called them they were supposed to order a new door would be in 3 to 4 weeks five weeks later made the phone call they had no record of the door being ordered they said they would order the door again it would be in in 4/5 days two weeks later made the phone call again they had no record of the door being ordered so I went into the store talk to the manager he said they would just give me a new dryer I told him I didn't want to new dryer because I can change the door out in two minutes he insisted on the new dryer because he said when they order parts from Samsung they never received them so I said OK I'll take the new dryer. They said they would deliver the dryer Monday so my wife took the day off Monday comes 9 o'clock 10 o'clock 11 o'clock 12 o'clock 1 o'clock 2 o'clock 3 o'clock no dryer call the store and the guy that was supposed to get everything delivered had went home for the day The other guy that I talk to said he doesn't know why it didn't get delivered because all the paperwork was sitting on the guys desk. I told him I would call the gentleman the next morning that dropped the ball, called him the next morning he told me that they denied The warrantee on the dryer. I told him a phone call would've been nice because my wife had taken the day off of work to get the new one he apologized mind you this is the same guy I've talk to from day one to get the new door three apologies later my wife takes a day off of work and still no door now we are back to square one with ordering the door from Samsung that never delivers the parts anyways. I will never shop at your store again this is beyond a joke read more
