All your basic domestics plus a nice selection of imports and micro brews. Check out the Montucky for an easy drinking session beer. I didn't look at the rest of the store but it seemed like a well stocked place. The cashier was friendly and quick.

Items are often misplaced and if you are lucky they are somewhere in the same area. Still wastes plenty of time I check on-line if item is available and bay and aisle number not to wonder for 20 minutes trying to find it. After spending thousands of dollars on materials and tools last half a year or, perhaps tens of thousands of dollars on parts and pieces over last decade including appliances and installations I'd assume that I may had earned the right (or was it the privilege pardon my French) to be treated like somewhat valued customer or anyone close to it. Guess not yet, perhaps never. Gal answering the phone was extremely condescending. All I asked was to fix their "Clearance" price on-line if she is unable to honor it. She did neither. Just interrupted me while I was still talking, wished me a good night and hung up. Ok. There are few other stores, not many if you prefer to actually grab your items not from Bezos-Mart, but they are still there. Being polite is not expensive. Showing empathy in customer service environment used to be considered a virtue unless you are affiliated with Verizon. Oh well...tis what it is. Appliance quality also went down. Fridge from 2015 served almost 10 years before needing minor repair, the one from 2025 barely lasted 6 months and although it got fixed under warranty it took almost 3 weeks, few days for initial show up and to diagnose, then time to order the part and then come back to install plus 2 fool fridges of wasted/thrown away food in less than a year. Think hundreds of dollars. Maybe it is not me it is them ;).

I took my father-in-law here to try to find some plastic pipe for a vanity. Another customer was…read moreahead of us and I could hear the conversation between him and the Standard Plumbing (SP) guy. The customer was obviously annoyed because the fixture he was buying didn't come with everything needed. The SP guy was nice throughout the exchanges, simply letting the customer know what was needed and letting the customer vent. (The SP guy doesn't control what comes with a product, so why shoot the messenger?) But he *was* helpful to let the customer know what else was needed to complete the job at hand. Very professional, patient, and nice. Another SP guy came out from the back and proceeded to help us. My father-in-law asked a bunch of questions but got stuck describing the problem he was having with the pipes. The second SP guy was just as nice and patient as the first. He answered every question and even took us over to the aisle where the products were and used new drain parts to help my father-in-law visualize and describe what the set up that he was looking to fix. Cut to the end-- the guy helped us get the parts we needed and the repair we did was successful. The parts were not outrageously expensive, either, although plastic is usually pretty cheap. Full Disclosure: these guys are like day versus night compared to the SP guys who worked at the SP store where I used to live. Definitely worth patronizing the Pocatello store.
