The customer was obviously annoyed because the fixture he was buying didn't come with everything needed. The SP guy was nice throughout the exchanges, simply letting the customer know what was needed and letting the customer vent. (The SP guy doesn't control what comes with a product, so why shoot the messenger?) But he *was* helpful to let the customer know what else was needed to complete the job at hand. Very professional, patient, and nice. Another SP guy came out from the back and proceeded to help us. My father-in-law asked a bunch of questions but got stuck describing the problem he was having with the pipes. The second SP guy was just as nice and patient as the first. He answered every question and even took us over to the aisle where the products were and used new drain parts to help my father-in-law visualize and describe what the set up that he was looking to fix. Cut to the end-- the guy helped us get the parts we needed and the repair we did was successful. The parts were not outrageously expensive, either, although plastic is usually pretty cheap. Full Disclosure: these guys are like day versus night compared to the SP guys who worked at the SP store where I used to live. Definitely worth patronizing the Pocatello store.

Temu your paying there tricky prices and outragous shipping cost . Trust me it better to see what your getting! No hassile returns for full price & tax. Were as with Temu you have to pay shipping that when shipped back, shipping is almost more than item if returned. I guess you can say I got item from Temu that were not the same as pictured. Bonus: all located in a small store, not a big box store -- no time wasted walking from aisle 5 to aisle 37. Favorite stuff: felt sliders (chair legs on tile), nylon rope, stretch wrap (temp binding of tools or hardware, spare blankets, pillows) painting supplies (cheap brushes, paint cups, drop cloths) for small projects, small tarps, craft paints, zip ties, packs of various grits of sand paper, plastic storage containers, hanging hardware, sponges/Scotch pads, nylon brushes to use and toss. OF COURSE the quality is not top level. But it's perfectly adequate for how much use I intend to get out of it. So, all you DIY people, just take a little wander through the hardware and craft aisles and you'll see a bunch of things that you NEED for this or that, and each item will cost you significantly less than you'll pay at WalHomeAceLows. What you won't find is someone to tell you what items will work on your project. Oh, well. DIY people know how to Google it. Probably you WILL find someone pleasant working at the check stand. (Note: this particular locale has a problem with not enough of these pleasant checkers working when it gets busy. 10 people in line and only 1 checker working? Needs improvement.) And since you're probably thirsty, getting your DIY stuff, so grab a can of pop for $1.25 and head straight home and GET BUSY. Sheesh. Burnin' daylight here. Summary: Recommend Dollar Tree.

The guy has zero customer service skills, and never has anything in stock. The only thing we have been able to buy there is a floor mat for under an office chair. But unable to purchase: a desk, chair, webcam or printer ink to name a few. The last time we went in was for a webcam, he was too busy chatting with his employee to help us, when we asked what aisle...he told us and I said I didn't see any over there, and asked if there were another spot, he didn't even look up and just said, "I guess I'm out." Pretty much done wasting my time going here. Save yourself the trip and the time. He probably doesn't have what you need/want and more than that...he doesn't care. It's just easier to order online.

They greet you every time you enter the store and thank you every departure. Ask you first thing if they can help you with. The store manager helped my wife and me with shoes and was very attentive and patient with us as we tried on quite a few different pairs of shoes. Big 5 sales prices are usually good values, especially compared to other places selling sporting goods. Thumbs up all around. If you can handle overkill with emails announcing sales, their email list provides coupons that help boost your buying power, too.
