I came in looking for a bedroom door knob with a key. Aisle 4 had only exterior options, so I asked an associate for help. Before I could finish my sentence, he cut me off and gestured vaguely at the wall I was already examining. When I clarified I needed a bedroom knob with a key, he interrupted again, this time to tell me that such a thing "doesn't exist," and to "try Bed and Bath." (Yes, Bed and Bath, for hardware.) Still trying to be optimistic, I walked over to that section and found a young woman in a Lowe's vest speaking with a man in black jeans and a plain black shirt. I asked her for help, and she replied: "I no speak English." I was stunned. The man in black turned and simply said, "Aisle 4." I asked again. She pointed to him. He repeated: "Aisle 4." Only later did I realize he was an out-of-uniform Lowe's employee, and judging by their expressions, I was apparently supposed to have known that from the start. Fed up, I asked to speak with a manager. That's when I met Alvin, the store manager. I calmly explained my concern, that a customer-facing employee couldn't communicate with customers. Alvin's response? "So what?" When I asked how I was supposed to communicate, he said: "Find another associate." When I told him I'd be leaving a review and contacting corporate, he literally laughed and said, "Go ahead." So here it is. I walked in with money to spend and a simple request. Lowe's installed hurricane windows in my home. They didn't finish the door trim, it was on back order and when it arrived it would be installed; but that never happened. Trim fell down exposing stripped fasteners and the window was not secure. It is a large window. Lowe's gave my wife the run around and said that they had no one to fix it....even though they had installers. This is my first posting. I will post many more. I will contact Pembroke Pines code enforcement and have them reinspect the windows. My company does tens of thousands of business with Lowe's....which will stop. Unprofessional and poor quality. I come here 8/10 times for their garden section & the other times, it's for paint or items for small projects. This store is well lit and organized. As a woman safety is my top concern when going to these large warehouse-type stores, and thankfully have never felt uncomfortable or in danger coming here. The parking lot is large and have always found a spot near the front right away. The biggest issue is finding help around the store, however this seems to be a recurring issue at a lot of businesses. Roger, their paint specialist is incredibly helpful & knowledgeable, just be patient as there is usually a line of people waiting to place their order! Their garden section is mostly well kept --last time I visited all their carnivorous plants had died and were still kept out, but their variety of bromelias and shrubs is pretty fantastic. Shoutout for whoever is in charge of the sunlight labels--these have been very helpful! read more

Customer service is nonexistent, delivery was unacceptable and they did a terrible job. They made me install my own plumbing for the delivery on the refrigerator. And scratched my 100 year-old floors. Delivery drivers didn't even speak English. I called to complain to the store, customer service answered my call and hung up on me. Great location and great store. My family and I headed here on a misson to get a new stove and fridge. Appliances we've had for years until they decided to die out on us. The entire store is massive and clean. Luckily it was nice and quiet when we arrived. Not that many people and on a Saturday. We spent most of our time comparing and observing all the appliances on display. Once we made our choices we told an employee that which Appliances we were interested in buying and he quickly went to the back storage of the store to see what was in stock. That took less than five minutes! He came back saying on the fridge was in their inventory at the moment and the oven would be backordered. We were about to leave discouraged as we need the oven more. I didn't catch the employee's name but he did offer to help look into another store's inventory and found a location that had both appliances in stock! He was extremely helpful and made our experience into a great one. We purchased a couple of small things we needed and checkout was fast and easy. The cashier was quick and friendly. I definitely recommend visiting Lowe's especially this location! read more

Lowes. Lowes. Lowes. I hate when a store I like disappoints me. I went to go pick up some tile that my mom had ordered to do some repairs on the patio. I ordered the tile online and they let me know the order was ready. It took a bit of time to receive the order when I arrived at the store. That was understandable because it is a heavy product. I ordered two boxes of tile that is 11 tiles each. Anyway, Ronae brought out the tile for me. I asked her to please bring someone to load the boxes of tile in my vehicle because I am not strong enough to lift them. She said there were no loaders available and she would do it. I was stunned. They should make sure there is a strong man to do this. Female employees should not have to lift boxes like this. She lifted them pretty easily which reminds me I need to work out more. But seriously, these tile boxes are super heavy!! The tile is beautiful and came in great condition. I hope Lowes gets it together and starts making sure loaders are available when needed. read more

I decide at 5:30 pm that I'd make the trip knowing that they would close at 7:00 pm. I arrive and the associated says yes, they have the microwave but their system is down and they are only taking cash. I didn't want to wait so I went and got cash. I get back and tell the associate that I have the cash. He explains that his register only takes card. I tell him that I will pay cash at the front. Only to return the following day to make returns and purchase more things. Ugh! In all honestly, my lackadaisical attitude aside, this location has ample parking and some self check-out lanes. It is a bit of an issue finding an employee to figure out where things are though. Will return if need be but admittedly I rather not. I haven't been to Lowe's for years as I usually go to Home Depot. But I needed some items and Lowe's was there for me to shop. These type of stores are cavernous so it's hard to find items for a novice like myself. Looking for a salesperson was extremely difficult. They were few and far between and I took a long time to spot one. I wound up having someone help me who was not a specialist to that part of the store. It was actually very spooky seeing so little salespeople in such a big store. This has to be one of the worst Lowe's I've ever been too. First of all, do not even bother with their curbside pickup. They will never answer the phone and you'll just have to walk your butt in there to get it yourself anyway. This is what happened to me twice on two different days. When you go to the Curbside section of the store, the employees will look at you and help everyone in the return section first until the line is up. Then they'll acknowledge you. The first time I went to pick up an order, one of the employees there named Vanessa looked me dead in the eye and then continued to help someone else who had gotten into the return line two minutes after she had helped her last customer. Once she was done, she went to the back and then walked past me saying, "Sorry, I'm off duty now." This was so frustrating. It basically took me about 20 minutes to get a curbside pickup. The second time I went to pick up the other half of my order, it took about 15 minutes after calling Curbside and getting no response. The employees here truly do not give a shittake. Seemed to good to be true. I purchased a refrigerator with an ice maker installation on Sunday 2/11/24. My husband needs his medication refrigerated and we needed the new refrigerator as soon as possible, so I was happy that Lowes could deliver the refrigerator on Monday 2/12. Upon purchase, I requested a morning delivery, but was given a phone number to call and was told that it was noted in the delivery details. Sunday night I was given delivery window of 11:30 - 3:30pm. I called the number and was told my placement in the queue for delivery. I informed that I had to go to the hospital at 3 and was given a call update 2 more times to indicate when it was my turn . By the time 2pm rolled around, they still had not gotten to me. I had to reschedule. Tuesday night they gave me the perfect delivery time of 3:30pm - 7:30pm for Wednesday 2/14. I was so happy. Then Wednesday rolled around and at 10am I got a call that they were delivering to me next. I could not understand how this was happening. I was at work and could not leave. I had to reschedule yet again because of an error they made. I even texted the driver the delivery window that was sent to me and he said it was not his problem. He said he follows what they gave him. Even though i had to reschedule yet again, I was determined to get my refrigerator. I was already traumatized and somehow felt that they would continue to screw this delivery up. I made sure to follow their directions to reschedule for the afternoon and was given a 1 - 5pm window today (2/15) even though I asked for after 3pm. I went work thinking that I would not be 1st, but in true form that is exactly where I was placed for delivery. I had to leave work to go home to receive the delivery, but wait, it gets worse. When I get there the drivers tell me that they cannot install my ice maker because I to have a copper connection for the water. I was livid!!!! Why wasn't I told all of this when I made my purchase and asked for the installation? He told me that the sales person at Lowes was supposed to inform me of this necessity. He told me that he could not even disconnect the water line. I had to figure out how to turn off the water and do it myself. It was a nightmare because I had no idea how to do it, but I was not letting my refrigerator go back on that damn truck. This was a horrible purchasing experience and all I can say i buyer beware. They wouldn't give me any other information until someone realized that they had made a transposition error. I like keeping my place clean and my ride as well, but when it comes to yard work, it's not exactly my favorite chore to do; especially when the weather is humid. There are bushes growing wild all over the fence in the backyard. So wild, some unwanted critters could make a home in it. The last time I cleared those bushes, I used a machete which caused my arms to be in pain for three days. Since I was in the area, I went inside Lowe's to purchase a pruning tool. Store is similar to Home Depot, but in my opinion, a bit better. Personally, it makes no differences between Home Depot and Lowe's. We arrived in this particular store after a very disappointed visits in a store a few doors down. We are in the market of replacing our existing range hood. After over a decade of beating of American and Chinese style cooking, my wife and I both thought its time for it to be retired. We were shocked when we found out how much the store would charge us on a simple range good, we were hoping to find something just as good but cheaper.. This Lowe's apparently does not have much to show for it. We walked around the appliance area but we couldn't find a single store staff to help us (maybe it's because its on a Easter Sunday..?) Finally I was able to track down a store employee. I asked him where will I be able to find the range hood they carry. He took me down the isle and said, there you go, that's it and walked away. Well, geeze, I'd imagine home improvement store as big as Lowe's would carry at last more than 4 different models. But apparently I was wrong. In the end, we walked out the store feeling let down. We will try the Home Depot by our house and see how that goes. But I feel bad for Lowe's....if this is how you carry your business, I'll not a bit pressurized if Home Depot is able to beat in sales (or customer retention...) read more

LOWE'S: THE NEW TARGET -------- Alright I'm not a contractor, handyman, gardener, or homeowner so my review might be a little biased. For a 20something's girl that doesn't build many things, this Lowe's is pretty cool. I came here for a bathtub scrubber pole device to make cleaning my bathroom easier. Work smarter, not harder, amirite? Anyway, I quickly found out that like Target, you don't go to Lowe's to buy something, you come here to let Lowe's tell you what to buy. My lack of self-control in a home improvement store had me questioning my identity. Why do I feel the need to buy new LED lightbulbs? Is it really necessary to buy this metallic spraypaint to make my vanity look shiny? And why did I not buy a blade sooner to take off those old bumper stickers off of my car? Who am I? As for the experience, can't say anything out of the ordinary. There was an associate that seemed to be following me into every aisle with a huge stair stepper ladder on wheels. There was only one checkout lane but there were only 2 people waiting in line. The cashier was friendly. Parking was easy. Prices were aight. Just a word of caution: get what you need, and run the hell out. Because before you know it, you're lost in a sea of "ways to make your house look better" and have maxed out your credit card. I like this Lowe's. They have everything in stock and seem to be more customer-focused than Home Depot. I also enjoy the fact that they have a 10% veteran discount. Parking: great. huge lot. Convenience: great. On a busy intersection with multiple access points Staff: great. everyone is friendly and ready to help. Sure, sometimes the return line is long and moves slow. Sure, they don't have self-checkout, but that may be on purpose. They don't always have a lot of registers open, but I try to circumvent shopping at peak hours to avoid that. The garden section has lots of plants and mulch, and the prices are slightly better than home depot. The store seems to have more lighting options than Home Depot. Plus, Jimmie Johnson is a cool dude, and the 48 is their sponsored car! They do not have a kids' program like HD does, but the shopping experience and veteran discount makes up for it. I stopped shopping at the Home Depot because of politics. I really wanted to be a loyal Lowe's customer. This is my second time going to that particular location, and each time I've been there I've had nothing but aggravation. After standing at the customer service counter for more than 15 minutes, I placed an order in-store to be delivered today. I got a confirmation text that they'd be here between 8:00 am and noon. Around 11:00 am, I got another confirmation text that they'll be here between 11:00 and 3:00. So 3:00 comes and I call the number to find out where my stuff is only to be told, " Oh you've been taken off the schedule." No one had the courtesy to call to let me know. Additionally, I sat home the whole day, afraid to even take the dog for a walk that I would miss a delivery. Moreover, they can't even tell me if I'll be getting my delivery tonight or tomorrow. They can't give me a any particular time either. This is definitely the last time I will shop at that Lowe's, and probably at Lowe's all together. I can't remember the last time I've been this angry. Horrible scammers. Over the past two years, we've purchased multiple appliances and utilized their delivery/installation/haul away service. I have no problem paying for that service. However, this time we were told there was and extra $95 fee to deliver/install at a condo or apartment building. I asked for clarification on the fee and when it started (as we weren't charged this previously). I was told the $95 for condos/apartments is because the installers may have to use an elevator. Using an elevator is that difficult that you need to charge me $95? No thanks! I know Lowe's doesn't care, but you've lost another customer to Home Depot. read more

Not only was this the only Lowe's out of the 3 I stopped at on this day which had all the items I was shopping for in stock, but their customer service was great as well. I was looking for a specific bathroom vanity top that only Lowe's carries. I checked their website and it showed that the store in Hialeah had them in stock. Great! I drove to Hialeah, only to find that both the ones they had in stock were damaged in shipping and were shattered. I checked their website and found that next closest Lowe's was in N.W Miami. Great, I headed off to that store. None in stock. Finally I came to this store and they had 2 remaining in stock, I opened the box and saw that it wasn't damaged, they had the other items I wanted in stock as well so I had success at last. Beyond that, I found the employees here to be helpful and kind. The woman who rang up my purchases noticed I had a cut on one of my fingers from the work I'd done earlier that day removing my old vanity and countertop and asked if I wanted a Bandaid. When I got to the parking lot, an employee happened to see that I was loading the vanity top into the back of my vehicle and without my asking, he ran over to me to offer assitance (I'd already loaded it by then, but his gesture was appreciated). Great customer service! Just too bad this Lowe's is such a haul for me to get to. I wish this city had as many Lowe's and that they were as convenient to get to as Home Depot stores are! read more

This lowes is like any typical lowes. It's sort of difficult to get to unless you know the back roads around the complex and Pines pretty well. The selection here is always good and can't beat their plant life for a year guarantee. It's quick and painless to pay at this lowes too.
