    Employee being rude..

Employee being rude. Not what you would expect from a business. What happened to asking customers how can I help you and provide good service. Certainly not what I've experienced in other stores

    A man's playground

Tools to the left, tools to the right. Every where I look - tools, tools, tools. This is definitely a man's playground. So what the heck am I doing here? Simple, I need a couple of tools at a reasonable price. A drill and a reciprocating saw to be exact, but I was only here to look and check out the price. Based on their sales ad, it seems to be a sale every two weeks on the merchandise, which are neatly organized and stocked. The store was not crowded with customers, but they were steadily coming in. The employees seemed friendly and helpful (when they weren't busy talking to each other). When I found what I was looking for, I calculated the items would cost me a little over $50, which was not bad. I'll be back in a few days to get them.

    Neat display

Harbor Freight has a lot of tools and obscure home items that you cannot find at the big box stores. Finding assistance is a little bit challenging here. I do like that they offer many opportunities to get a free item such as a flashlight or batteries. This is with a purchase of any amount. They offer these coupons to the newspaper or through their email promotions. In general, pricing is fair at this store. Cashiers are always friendly and there is ample parking.

What can you get with a $1.00?

I asked a few questions and one of the guys was really straightforward and clear about the answers. He was really good about giving me the information I needed....that is one thing about Ace. They do have knowledgeable and friendly people that can assist with any questions. Ace Hardware Corporation is an American hardware retailers' cooperative based in Oak Brook, Illinois, United States. It is the world's largest hardware retail cooperative, and the largest non-grocery American retail cooperative. Founded in 1924 as "Ace Stores", the company changed its name to "Ace Hardware Corporation" in 1931. It grew dramatically following World War II, more than tripling its sales between the late 1940s and 1959. After the retirement of longtime president and founder Richard Hesse in 1973, Ace was sold to its retailers, becoming a retailer-owned cooperative. It first reached $1 billion in wholesale sales in 1985 and $5 billion in 2015. As of 2019, it has over 5,200 locations in 60 countries. Ace operates 17 distribution centers in the United States, and additional distribution facilities in China, Panama, and the United Arab Emirates. This particular store on Seabreeze is located in the large strip mall that houses the LA Fitness, TJ Maxx and the Total Wines and more...so it's easy to find and to park.
