Another really bad experience at Lowes Ozark, MO. Received a call yesterday that my order was being loaded and that I would get a call the next morning to verify delivery time. The next day I did not receive a call and my delivery did not arrive. I made a special effort to be ready for my purchase to arrive and I kept my phone with me all day...not a word! After waiting all day I called Lowes, I was told that their delivery is a third party and said 3rd party tried to call me to informe me that the delivery would be delayed 3 days because their truck was full. THIS IS AN OUT AND OUT LIE, I never left my phone. I have waited a week for this order already and the local staff seemed to care less. If there was an option for 0 stars this is what Lowes installation would receive. We paid to have our deck installed by Lowes installation in Ozark MO. The builder did not get a permit and was 3/4 finished with it when we saw that the job didn't look good and called to check with the county to see if there was a permit. When the inspector came out to look at what they had done so far, they had not built it correctly. So because they did not get the permit and didn't know what Christian County expected for the build, the job was completely hacked from there on. The rails do not match up and look like somebody took a chain saw to cut them. Several phone calls have been made to the installation team to no avail. I could go on, but will restrain. Suffice it to say do not use Lowes for any projects you are better off using your 10 year old. read more

I need to be clear that this is not for all of the Lowe's stores, this is specifically for the Ozarka Lowe's store! These people seem to have developed a proficiency for not doing their job and getting away with it. They delivered an oven to my daughters house in Abesville, but did not hook it up correctly! The goal was to get answers or to get someone to go out there and hook it up properly. I called at least four times yesterday and every single time I was not able to get answers. The last time I called they gave me some random email and said that I would get a response within half an hour. I emailed them twice and got no answer whatsoever! These people have honed the craft of poor customer service! I think they take advantage of the fact that there aren't a whole lot of options out there. We ordered curbside pickup. We parked in the area where you pick it up and called the number. No answer. We patiently waited. Called again. No answer. So we called the main store number and transferred to pick up. Still nothing. We waited on the phone for 10 minutes for an associate to answer. She told us she would get somebody to bring it out and we had to wait another 10 minutes for that to happen. Very disappointed. read more

I live in Ozark Missouri I was set to have a new microwave, fridge, stove, and dishwasher delivered on Friday March 20th. I called the day before to make sure everything was still good to go due to the trying times were all going through with the virus, I thought this may slow down or push back some of the deliveries. The person at my local Ozark Lowes I was speaking to informed me they were showing my delivery for April 6th and that my products that were ordered had not arrived to their location yet. I was confused by this but thought it was due to the virus so I did not think much about it. The next day I received a call in the morning from my driver asking if I was ready to receive my items. I was very confused and told them what the local store had said to me the day before, but I was home and was ready for the items to come. They also told me on the phone that they would not be able to bring these items into my house because they had a new policy due to the virus that they could not enter the house but could put them in my garage for me. After receiving my items to the house I began to contact the store's customer service lines. I explained to the local store as well as the main Lowes customer service number throughout my many calls made during that day I was unsure on how I was going to get these items into my house or set them up. I was told by the driver the sales person who sold me these items in the store was new and that was the reason I received no info about installation options. I assumed they were just installed when they were brought out, but it was explained to me how they go about that and I do understand and am able to connect them myself, I just wish I would have been told that earlier. My sales person also told my wife and I they had a special if we purchased 3 or more items of the same brand, there was a special if I remember right to get 3% off but while starting the paperwork for the purchase, suddenly realized it was a rebate and not a discount on the items. I would think it was an honest mistake until my brother in law informed me that same sales person did that exact thing to them a few weeks ago when they purchased their items. After talking with different managers at the Ozark location, one of which said he would call my drivers that day and see what he could do never even called back prompting me to call the store 4 hours later, I was informed that the policy could not state the drivers cannot enter a home, but rather it was driver's discretion. I told the manager I have $3000.00 worth of appliances in my garage with no way to get them inside with food spoiling slowly in a cooler because I thought I would have a fridge in my home. the furthest I got was being allowed to use on of their dollies and bring it back after. I retrieved the dolly from the local store and made the attempt to get the fridge in the house up steps with only my wife to help. The fridge is in our home after much effort, but has sustained scratches and a dent from the two of us being inexperienced trying to move this large appliance. I am going to attempt to move the other items into the home and get them setup soon but have been nervous to do so because of what happened with the fridge. My wife is devastated and fell in love with this fridge and now has to look at dents and scratches and be reminded of this nightmare of an experience for the both of us. I truly understand the times we are in and what we are all going through as well as the dangers that can await drivers inside a home. I have experienced being lied to multiple times, being completely ignored, and led to believe I have to just accept where I am now. Having said that, I do not wish any trouble or discipline on anyone involved with my experience, I merely wish to feel like something can be done to make this right. I am absolutely appalled by how Lowe's is handling the pandemic. They have no directional arrows in the isles and people are crowding each other and disrespecting people's space, they are not keeping carts clean, and their employees are not even adhering to social distancing guidelines. I am so disappointed with the way Lowe's is handling things that I will NEVER shop there again even when this is all over. Nixa hardware has done an excellent job during this whole ordeal and they will get all my business from here on out, even if it means driving further out of my way. read more

Came to buy 5 gallon water bottles. Returned my used ones and they rang me up for 6 new ones. only to find out they were all empty in the rack. Made me wait over 30 minutes while the went to find more. Why would you sell them If you don't have them unpacked and ready to sell. Or at least tell me I'm going to have to stand here for over 30 minutes and wait. Very poor service read more

This has been our "go to" store for several years and I cannot recall a time but I was disappointed. I love the way that Lowes accept returns since we live so far from town and have to buy extra Products to be sure we don't run out in any given project. They have never given me grief. The latest highly satisfactory visit was yesterday. I was feeling under the weather and so called ahead and asked that a piece of plywood be cut two different ways and that my wife could pick it up for me. I placed an online order for pick up, that had to be shipped to the store. Got the notification it was ready, and went to get it. The wrong item was delivered. I went into the store to let them know and the lady at the pick up desk acted like I was wasting her time. She called me the next day to tell me she had to fight with the vendor to return the item I didn't order and I would have my order soon. Fast forward 8 days and no word. I checked the status of my order and it says waiting payment update. Called the Ozark store and got bounced to 3 different people, none of which could help me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he would call me back sometime tomorrow. WTF kind of customer service are you running Lowes? read more

Bought our home appliances here. They were helpful and held our appliances until our house was finished enough to be able to deliver them.

I go there all the time only because they're the only place in my town but customer service is not their Forte just be prepared if you buy anything in the lumber yard they have every excuse why they can't load it. Today they supposedly were loading another vehicle at least five grown men standing there doing nothing as we had to load 20 sheets of drywall ourselves read more

I bought a dryer at this location, for my 86 year old Mother who is very ill with bile duct carsomia. I have never been so disappointed with a business in my 63 years of life. Along with a 2 week wait to have my $899.00 dryer delivered, the delivery driver and installer dropped it not once but twice bringing it into the house. They did a extremely poor job of installing used duct tape to install the exhaust hose did not cut it to size and left. I of course wrote on the invoice that the dryer was damaged. Made a call 2 times hung up on the first time passed to 6 people total told them that I needed the manager wanted to wait untill the driver got back to make a decision, and would call me when it happened. Obviously no call back,so I went to the store personally customer service representative said that they could not give me a time to pick it up or replace it. After waiting 2 weeks for delivery on the 1st on I was not willing to wait another. So they told me I would have to bring it back myself. Contacted the shore about buying Pella windows and new shutters for our house as well as having them installed. Initial contact went very well and all questions we had were answered completely and in a timely manner. After we paid, however, things went downhill quickly. The shutters weren't ordered at the same time as the windows (even though they were paid for at the same time), no one realized the mistake until the day of the scheduled installation. No special effort was made to rush the shutters in or have them put up quickly. The entire process from start to finish took 60 days. The install work is very good and they look great, but the lack of interest in helping expedite the process was very disappointing. read more
