I ordered a washer to be delivered to Wetzel County. Date of delivery was a Thursday with a window of 230p-630p. A phone number from California called at 4p to notify me that delivery was delayed and the new window was now 4p-8p. That same CA number called at 7p to notify me that I was next on the list for delivery that I will be contacted soon by the delivery driver. At 815p, I called that CA number to ask about my delivery because I had not heard anything. The delivery driver NEVER called me personally. The driver made it to a weight restricted road (one of three ways to get to my location). The driver documented that the truck could not pass that weight restricted road and turned back around to go back to the distribution warehouse without notifying me of their dilemma. They were 10 minutes from me at that point and just abandoned the delivery with documentation of how it was not possible (even though they could have re-routed if they would have called). I called that CA number to be put on hold by 4 different representatives - only for my call to be picked up as an original call each time. On Friday morning the distribution center called to arrange the delivery. After 20 minutes of looking at Google maps to document the proper route, the representative claimed that delivery could only happen on Tuesdays or Thursdays in my area. I already wasted an entire day of being present waiting for their delivery. I told them I was not available on Tuesdays or Thursdays and they were unable to send a special delivery to meet my needs after inconveniencing me. So, I called the Morgantown Mall store at 930am and asked to speak with the appliance department. No one was working appliances until 3p, so I asked to speak with the manager. I explained how I arranged my entire Thursday to be at the delivery location and he simply did not care that every step of the delivery process was an inconvenience to their customers. I also explained that I am a valued, repeat customer who has purchased numerous appliances over the years including washer and dryer sets, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and ovens. I further explained that because I am a loyal customer, all aspects of my new home build for 2026 would be purchased from Lowes. Not one "I am sorry ma'am, let me see what I can do for you" or any legitimate offers to rectify the scenario. He noted that he could have the washer delivered to the store and I would have to pick it up (not an option or I would have done that to begin with!) Zero percent of that manager cared that he was losing a loyal, repeat customer that was going to make several large purchases in the future. How about have your delivery truck have a CB radio back to the distribution center or upgrade the communication to have Starlink so that drivers would have phone service in rural areas? How about when the delivery truck did have service, they call the customer to notify them of the issue with the route and ask for a possible solution? They made it 10 minutes from their destination and said "nope" and ended the route with proper documentation. This is unacceptable from the distribution center, their call center in CA, and the Morgantown Mall Lowe's. TERRIBLE customer service - they did not care to make that delivery, to cancel that order, or to lose a valued customer. I will now shop at 84 Lumber, Menards, Home Depot, and Best Buy. Lowe's corporate greed is killing us for over 20 years. I have spent $20-$25,000 a year every year at my local Lowe's store for my business and my home the corporate greed of the company recently has instituted a policy that you are charged interest on your card from the day you make the purchase not when your bill is due the gates the 5% discount that they give you for using your card. you owe more and interest before you get your bill than the discount that you got for using your Lowe's card I have moved everything for my business to Menards and I suggest that all customers do the same if Lowe's is so greedy that they must have that extra couple of sense they don't deserve our business and there's a wave of rebellion that wakes up corporate. I hope this is Red as we do not deserve to be abused corporately they make enough now. read more

Was there today looking to buy a fridge, washing machine, & dryer. No one would help me. I spent 20-25 minutes standing near the fridge I wanted to get and several employees walked by, sure to not make eye contact as they breezed past me. When I tried flagging down the gentleman at the desk, he picked up the phone, turned his back to me, and went back to typing on a smartphone I assume he thought I couldn't see in his opposite hand. When I tried flagging someone down by the washers/dryers, two employees each saw me, looked back at the tablets they were carrying, and changed directions. I waited maybe 8-10 more minutes, hoping someone else would come around. No luck. Left the store and made my purchases elsewhere (Menards). Been to this Lowes a few times in the last 4 months, and this has been the type of Customer Service they seem to have. I don't know if they just don't want to ring up/assist a woman, or if Lowes doesn't give a good enough commission for staff to consider it worth their time. On my way out, I had a staff person make a very rude remark to my friend that had come with me to shop today, about my friend's weight as we were walking past. Also, the one display kitchen was COVERED with empty food containers, half consumed bottles of soda, and dirty napkins from I guess 9-12 staff having their meal on the service floor (I've done customer service/sales jobs before, you eat in the backroom & clean up after yourself). I will NOT be returning to this store. read more

I have multiple home improvement projects going on so I have been routinely going to Lowe's on an almost weekly basis. Being relatively new to the area (originally from CA) I was relieved to find out that are some excellent employees at this Lowe's location. David in flooring has been very helpful in assisting me with product recommendations and scheduling related services. Likewise, Adam has been an excellent source for information and helping me find what I need as well as making recommendations for lighting and electrical, he has helped me a ton with selecting ceiling fans, different outlets, covers, etc. Lastly, Chris has been a very valuable resource, he knows his section and products VERY well and every paint he has recommended has been a stellar choice. So many great employees at this Lowe's, these are just a few! read more

I prefer driving the extra 2 miles to go to Lowe's rather then go to Home Depot. I recently bought 'cheap' carpet, pad, and install services from Lowe's and still am impressed by the job they did. Price was exactly where we needed to be. This location is usually moderately busy, clean, organized, and the people there are usually helpful as long as you can find an employee that's not already helping someone. read more

Well my neighbor bought a whole kitchen appliances from them. Not only did they scratch up her wood flooring beyond belief, her appliances showed up dented, scratched and now they are telling them that is her deal!!! I just bought my home here and will not be buying squat from them!!! I am sorry this is a older lady they are taking advantage of and if that is the way they are then they do NOT need my money. I will go back home and go to Menards or a Home Depot! My gift card to this crap box that I got from my realtor for $50 will go on eBay for 5 cents because they are not even with that!!! read more

This is the closest Lowe's to my house. I really like the Pickup order in the store to save time and temptation in buying too much. The store guys are very helpful in whatever project I was on. Great help and service. Can't rate the price range. Only can rate the service. read more

If you need items for home improvement or similar items, I would avoid the store on Venture Dr., Glenmark Center. I have shopped there for some time and my last experience was so bad that I will never return. After my contractor guys made at least 3 trips to pick up items, (not custom ordered) lowes still didn't have them. I was sold items that were not in stock/or available and wasn't informed at the time of purchase. I asked to speak with the manager, of course he wasn't in. I then asked to have the store manage call me, over 2 weeks now nothing. Home depot is a bit farther to travel but I have never had bad customer service from Home Depot. I will also be canceling my CC account with Lowe's as well. read more

This lowes is awful!! It seems like no one ever wants to help!! Every time I go to the contractors desk there is employees in the offices socializing!! And I have to wait forever for some to come out and ask if I need something!! And when I saw the manager and asked for help it seemed like I was a burden to him!!
