There was an older woman in tools that helped me and was very professional. When I went to check out with a cashier named "Jackie" she was extremely rude, rang up my item without saying a word, not even the total, I had to ask how much it was. After I payed she just rudely threw the receipt on the counter, she even wouldn't even look my way, didn't say thank you and acted like she had better places to be. She might want to start looking for another job if she can't handle basic customer service. read more

This Lowes honestly rarely fails me. Whenever I need something, I can usually find it on their website, and check if it's available. That's key. Setting expectations and meeting the expectations. I usually either order it online for pick up in a little bit (usually takes less than an hour)... or write down the specific aisle where the item is and run in and grab it without having to traverse the labyrinth of aisles and distractions. The only thing that annoys me is when something is in a special aisle (like "BACK WALL 002") -- can be somewhat vague and you might go all around the whole store trying to find which part of the back wall that is. They should really have a map, but if you're less people-averse than me, they tend to have plenty of staff around who can answer your question of where that is -- and people have always been super nice. I have had a situation a couple times where the available stock is up above the normal aisles. Finding someone to help me was kind of a pain in one case (plumbing area -- which is in the far back corner without many people around)... but I did find someone and they were able to grab the item. Another time, I was able to find someone super quick and they grabbed the thing... so, just a mixed bag there. read more

Buyer beware. Don't waste your time/money on expensive cabinet projects/orders. At best they have no control over their suppliers/shipping and at worst they're running a scam and their promised lead times are nothing more than a suggestion and a sales pitch with no real intention of delivering what promised. Expect 2-4 weeks longer than they quote. Absolutely take no accountability and don't provide any support, leaving you to deal directly with their unprofessional suppliers. Just stopped in there tonight to pick up an inflatable the app said they had. We were searching for it on the shelf. An employee (I later found her name at customer service, alona not sure on spelling) sarcastically and demeaning told us if we wanted it we should have been there in August. And next time I should remember that. I went to customer service and Cindy was so very helpful and apologetic for the rude employee. Cindy then helped us find one at other store to save us the 5.99 shipping fee. She also told us thre is always complaints about Alona. When I asked Cindy what the employees name was as she went by. She yelled and asked if there was a problem. I told her I DID NOT appreciate the way she made me feel like a dumb customer for not knowing better about when to buy. Great hardware store - I shop here frequently for just about everything this homeowner needs, lawn care, plumbing, lumber, tools, lighting. I like that there is a separate entrance for lumber that you can pull into to purchase and load your lumber (right hand side of store). Same statement for the garden area on the left hand side of the store. Self-check stands work well. Huge parking lot. Customer service - I've only had to return a couple things, and it couldnt have gone smoother. I've been shopping here since it opened - never had a problem with getting someone to help me find things or with their service. read more

Came to pick up a second load of concrete, but the first load had been a couple bags short. After a conversation with the lumber side check out clerk, we got sent to the back to wait. Dan came back to us after a very short wait, and loaded us up very quickly, missing bags included. The best part is he's really friendly, funny, and cool. He's worked at Lowe's for a long time and good experience and knowledge show. More guys like Dan would make Lowe's a much better place. read more

Workers: were great and communicative in store. Delivery: We paid $4,000 for appliances. The appliances we picked out were in stock and should have been delivered at most a week away. Delivery date on the paperwork states May 12th. Whenever we go in (can't call because they don't pick up the phone) we are told they are being delivered to the store soon and then we'll be called with delivery. It looks like we will be waiting another week or so if we are lucky. I don't mind waiting but we specifically chose to go with Lowe's and not other merchandisers because their delivery date was much sooner. To top that off, their rebate center was down for weeks so that postponed things as well and we ended up opting for appliances not depending on any rebate. Appliances: Microwave was delivered on time and works as expected. Guy who installed was professional and very nice. read more

I DO NOT recommend this store for outdoor plants!!! In the last 2 springs, I have purchased quite a few plants there, and both times, 80% of them had blight or other diseases. Of course, I didn't realize until it was too late. In turn, the diseases spread to some of my other plants. After last spring, I thought I'd give it another chance.... yet again, I have been very disappointed!!! They need to disinfect the ENTIRE outside nursery!!! Really good service by Evan, the customer service associate. His service was actually outstanding, and it was evident that he was dedicated to actually serving people, and he knew his job very well. The customer service reps at another register we're not able to process my temporary Lowe's credit card for a large purchase and so I used another credit card. My better half suggested I attempt to recoup the 5% discount that the credit card would normally give, and so we found ourselves as the customer service, where we encountered Evan. We ordered two shower doors for our bathroom remodel. One of the doors they sent was wrong door but the right company. When we contacted them they told us they don't do exchanges that we could either return the door and that would take about a week. Or we could purchase another door and be out double the money and it take and get it delivered in 2 weeks. When I explained that our contractors were done in 2 days they didn't care and jus said those are my options. We are in the middle of a remodel and I plan on getting the rest of my materials elsewhere. I was about to buy a $4,000 lawn mower this week but I can't trust their delivery service. I came to Lowe's with the difficult project of trying to match a uniquely colored pillow to a paint color swatch. After a long search for the right color, my eyes started to get blurry after I looked at what seemed like hundreds of colors. Scott in the painting department at the Monroe Lowe's was extremely helpful. He noticed me struggling to find a color that was close to what I was looking for and he offered to help. He spent nearly an hour helping me make a color for my art project--painting an MDF wood wall art piece for behind my bed frame that matched a pillow. Apparently, Lowe's has an awesome computer program that can help make a custom paint color just by scanning a photo or object. After trying in vain to get a new dual oven gas stove at many home improvement, appliance and electronics stores in Issaquah/Redmond/Bellevue we had about given up. We actually paid for one and cancelled it after they told us there was a 2 month delay. We happened by the Lowe's in Monroe, Wa this morning and spoke to a sales person named Robert. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He was able to get us the exact range we wanted, on sale, and it's going to be delivered and installed Monday. That's just two days, and less expensive than the other places. If you need any new appliances it's well worth the drive to Monroe. read more

I've had nothing but the best experience from this specific location. I think this is the first time I am writing my review on home improvement stores. I visited the store to purchase a utility store and everyone that I dealt was very friendly and acted as if I was their family members. Mollie went above and beyond to make sure that I could get the trailer , and Keller (?) was equally friendly and professional to finish the transaction. When I came to pick up the trailer next day, the store manager Dan was a prime example of what a store manager should demonstrate .There was another person that I couldn't remember the name but I know he also works as a marine mechanic in navy , and he also went above and beyond to take care of a fitting issue that I was having with. I think I had direct interactions with a handful employees. Every single one of them was outstanding. This particular location is pretty far from where I live but I surely do not mind driving all the way up here. I am not even sure if the store is locally owned or not but if the actual business owner is reading this review he or she should be very proud of this store and take care of these wonderful employees. Worst Service in the World!! Incompetent, lazy, don't give a s**t about customers type of employees. Writing this after many times in this store and getting no service, they are too busy talking together or look the other way. I have walked up to a Lowes employee to ask a question and he ignored me and walked away, how rude. Speaking of outright rude, this just happened to my lovely wife today......... I called the day before to the store and asked the lady if I should give her an order to pull and I would pay for it last evening so my wife could pick it up this morning, as I had to work.  She told me "no, you don't have to do that, just have her come in and we can take care of things for her in the morning.".   I wanted to get 2 x 12's treated wood, quite heavy, too heavy for my wife to lift. When she got there, she was told by some guy that they don't do that and it should have been called in the day before so they can pull the order at night.  He said he didn't have time to help her but in a sneering type of way he said he would do it this one time.  (That was very big of him to actually do his job for a change). This after she was made to wait in the store for almost a half hour for somebody to come out to help. He got the order together finally but then said he wouldn't load it into the truck for her and she had to get someone else for that because he was too busy.....another 15 min. wait and finally she got help but had to deal with complaining and belly aching with every board loaded into the truck.  For first thing in the morning, or anytime of day,  I feel this is pretty piss poor service and worse attitude. I know it's hard to get any kind of help these days but in the last 20 hours I have had my fill of incompetent, lazy, non-caring store employees at the Monroe Lowes.  Really pisses me off, how my wife was treated at the store above all else, to the point where I wanted to have her point out the lazy idiots that gave her such a hard time so I could give them a piece of my mind.  She told me that may not be such a good idea, so here I am typing this instead, while on hold for the manager. Lowe's just lost my business for life and a 600 sale today. My son went to this Lowe's store in Monroe after going to both the store in Lynwood and Everett in search of artificial green carpeting for a 10/60 space. The store in Everett stated the store in Lynwood had the proper stock, so he drove to Lynwood. The store in Lynwood only had partial stock and offered to sale the upgrade at the same price, but after rolling the material out, they didn't have enough. The store in Lynwood called Monroe to verify the same upgraded stock and to honor the price they had quoted my son. The manager Paul in Monroe confirmed he would honor the price and after driving to Everett then to Lynwood and then to Monroe to find the carpet the manager on duty in Monroe would not honor the pricing Lynwood quoted. Zero integrity! After 6 hours and a tank of gas we are going to buy it somewhere else!! read more

Recently, I went through this to purchase a new electric mower, which had a deal for an additional battery. When I went to purchase the mower, the store maintained that the extra battery was while supplies last. The battery was not in stock and Lowe's said there's nothing that they could do for me. Because I needed the mower I moved forward and just assumed that the battery issue was something I had to deal with. When I looked online at another retailer I identified there wasn't a shortage There just wasn't any stock at the Lowes that I was at. I continually find this. Lowes does not care about its customers and pretty much has a take what we have and deal with it stance customer service model. The unfortunate part for this retailer is that I needed additional equipment which I went online for and was able to get at the same deals that Lowe's was offering in their stores. After 20 years as a carpenter and 10 as a soldier this was the worst reoccurring experience I have ever had. Everything from the Manager Gaylen walking off and not talking with me to the fork lift driver Ed who was openly unwilling to help, verbally abusive towards me with his coworkers as I waiting, and disrespectful. Even Lisa the cashier was confrontational as I held the receipt in hand. I have had more negative experience from this store then positive. Worst experience! I bought a 300 dollar sink. Got it home it was dented. Tried to exchange it. And they made me return it and re buy it. Manger was useless said they could not help. So I spent 600 on a 300 sink while I wait for the standard 5-10 business days for the return of MY money. So instead of just exchanging the dented sink they sold me I'm out 600 bucks because I needed a sink! I'm really displeased with them and won't be shopping their ever again! I have had a great experience at this store, granted they are often short on supplies but who isn't with COVID related closures. We recently purchased and had them install Levolor blinds in our home. Damien was a key part of this process - he took the time to walk us through the different options (advantages/disadvantages), suggested we checkout a sample book and was in contact with us throughout the entire ordering process. He's not only friendly but he knows what he's talking about. They subcontract out the team that measures and then installs the blinds. I wish I could remember the name of the company and the gentlemen that did this as he was just as amazing as Damien. The cost is minimal for this service, I would recommend. The only knock I have, and it's minimal so consider this more of a FYI -- any post installation questions or issues go to Levolor directly, Lowe's does not get involved once installation is complete. Which is OK because Levolor customer service is just as good as Lowe's! read more

Worst customer service imaginable. 1. Their web site AND the phone line send customers in endless loops of question and response, leaving me with no answers or real support of any kind. 2. I placed an order on Feb 10. It is now March 25. 3. After 10 minutes of automated questions, which could not interpret my response, I then waited 10 minutes to get a response from a real person on the phone. 4. The person spoke very broken english. 5. I had to repeat the order number 4 times. 6. I waited on hold an additional 5 minutes, while the rep looked up my order. 7. He told me to hold again, while he reached the vendor (I thought he was the vendor's representative) 8. I waited again. 9. He returned and told me that the order had been damaged and that he would attempt to process a refund. 10. I've now been on hold again for 10 minutes and counting. 11. NO ONE ever contacted me to tell me there would be a delay. HORRIBLE customer service. I don't even want to give them 1 star for this. Update 07/24/2017. We ordered flooring from Lowes at the beginning of June. Just got called and was told the floors will now not be until the end of August. We tried to order a measure for countertops and nobody ever called us back. We had carpet installed a few weeks ago. And the carpet they installed had carpet beetles. They are coming tomorrow to inspect the carpet and hopefully take their nasty carpet back and give us a refund. We are also cancelling our flooring and getting a refund. This particular Lowes is by far the worst Lowes in the country. Lowe's corporate should be ashamed of themselves for even bringing this store on line. Big box stores have a reputation for poor customer service, but this store represents the poster child for awful service. The people working there not only have little to no product knowledge, but they'd rather stand around in groups talking among themselves than help a potential customer. Last week a group of three actually displayed emotions of irritation when I asked a question and not only tried to ignore me but ended up yelling across the store asking if I needed help. I've tried to order two separate items from their on-line store only to have BOTH items delayed (the first one for 4 weeks) and apparently now the second one for two weeks. When you can even get a manager it's obvious from the expression on their face that you represent work and that you are totally bothering them. Yesterday I went in for the dark Mylar window tint and two clerks told me they didn't have it I told them Home Depot carries it so they should have it. Both Answered again ... no! Not let me check for you just a no we don't carry it ! I happened to see Anthony from Mill Works that I remembered once before had helped me. I asked him and he took me right to it. Today I went back for silicone spray and it took me asking 4 clerks to find it which turned out to be on an end cap. They obviously aren't trained well enough or long enough as # 1 they should know where items are OR #2 have been trained to at the very least find another clerk or manager that does. I would have left and gone to Home Depot if I hadn't felt they had the products and went to 4 different clerks until a young man took a guess that turned out to be right. SO ANGRY & DISSAPOINTED!! I would leave zero stars if I was allowed. My mom had ordered a dishwasher and washing machine from Lowes. They rescheduled her twice and they finally showed up today and wont take the old washer or dishwasher away even though she paid an extra $30 each for haul away! They will not hook up anything they are just leaving the washer and dishwasher in the boxes and walking away. So now my 72yr old mother has 2 large boxes in her house with no working dishwasher or washing machine. Not thier problem I guess. We are wanting to get flooring done, we payed $50 dollars for someone to come to our house to give an estimate. All was fine they gave a time from 1-3 when the guy would be there, didn't arrive till almost 4 and didn't call that he was going to be late. He got here did the measurements and said we would hear back in 2-3 days, got a call 4 days later, they guy said we didn't have a product picked out and I told him I had what we wanted and he said and I quote "well you guys can come back down here but I'm leaving and no one else knows about this so I don't know how else to help you or we can set up another day for someone to come out but it will cost $50 dollars and we'd call you back within a few days after with a quote" and I said no. Just bought a paint sprayer, ladder and a bunch of paint for my house. About half way through my project, the hose started leaking. I brought it back to store and they swapped it out no questions asked. Then I got back to work and before I knew it I needed more paint. Got to Lowe's and I could not remember the color. Austin, the manager worked with me to find out what I got the day before and personally mixed it for me right away. Great customer service. I am glad that I kept doing business with Lowe's after a bad experience once before. They did fix that problem also. A+ read more

Four months after buying a high-end dishwasher from this Lowe's, we are still waiting to have a functioning dishwasher. We should have known from the moment we tried to make the purchase. It literally took two hours for the staff to figure out how to purchase a dishwasher they had in the Lowe's flyer but is not a regularly stocked item. At one point, I was thinking it would have been faster to drive home and for me to go on-line and do the purchase. The nightmare started with the installation. As we came to discover, the installers are only contracted by Lowe's to do the work. The first guy came, said he needed a part and never returned. We had to reschedule the install. The second time the installer did a no-show. We finally called to find out what was up to be told that he was probably running late. Later, we found out he had called in sick. The third installer finally got the dishwasher in, but instead of installing a new drain line (which we had paid for), he used the existing line that was built into the wall. After using the dishwasher for a week, we ended up getting an alarm code that the machine wouldn't drain. Out came the installer again, put in the proper drain line, and the dishwasher no longer worked properly. We were told that it was in warranty, but that we had missed the 30-day return policy. After a nice conversation with the store manager, a new dishwasher was ordered. Oh, but it doesn't end there. The dishwasher was supposed to be in on Dec. 22. When we called, we were told it was just being loaded on the truck and should be at the store on the 29th. It did arrive on the 29th, but now we have to wait until January 6 before the installer returns. I've bought many appliances in my life. Most times I've used small independent retailers because they've had a great price. I've always had great service from the smaller guys. One even upgraded my dishwasher to a better one at no cost because the one I ordered was back-ordered. I've significantly curtailed my spending at Lowe's in Monroe in favor of Home Depot in Snohomish. But honestly, I think I'll buy my next set of appliances from the smaller guys. read more
