If I could give 0 stars to this store I would. It is the single worst retail experience I have ever had. What should have been a straightforward, professionally managed purchase turned into months of confusion, miscommunication, and repeated failures at every level of the organization. Orders were mishandled. Pricing changed without explanation. Promised callbacks never came. Appointments were scheduled and then missed. I rearranged my work schedule multiple times, only to sit and wait with no communication and no accountability. When I called for updates, I was transferred in circles. I was told the only person who could help was unavailable. I was promised follow-ups that never happened. On one occasion, I waited nearly an hour on hold only to be told the responsible employee had gone home. Every step required unnecessary effort on my part just to get basic information about my own purchase. The issue was not a single mistake. Mistakes happen. The issue was a complete breakdown of ownership. No one took responsibility. No one communicated clearly. No one seemed empowered to fix the problem. Instead, I was left to coordinate between departments that did not appear to communicate with each other. By the time partial corrections were made, the stress, lost time, and repeated inconveniences had far outweighed the value of the purchase itself. I should not have had to chase down updates, correct errors, and advocate this aggressively for something that was paid for in full. I cannot recommend this store. Lowe's has really stepped up their game compared to other previous reviews. The customer service we received was above and beyond. Both Ethan (mgr) and Trent (supervisor) went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. Knowledgeable (what a concept) and super friendly. It really felt like the old days of going to the hardware store. Our delivery driver, Darin was also friendly and went out of his way to answer any other questions we had. It also helps that Lowe's gives military discount and has a much larger selection of products that can be used with it. When buying a riding law mover that 10% helps out a lot. We will definitely be using this store in the future. read more

I have had a horrible experience with Lowe's in Longview, On September 4th, I opened a credit card with Lowe's. I bought a refrigerator and two doors. We waited to have them all delivered until be got back from vacation. Upon delivery, there was no fridge with our doors. I called customer service, after wasting a whole Saturday waiting on the fridge. They informed me that they didn't have it at the store. Supposedly, they ordered it and I waited, yet again, DAYS to receive my fridge, only to hear them say that the delivery wouldn't happen because my card was declined. I called customer service AGAIN, and they informed me that my card had been declined. Lowes in Longview double charged the card, so it was over the credit limit. I am very angry and have cancelled my order, I'm returning my doors and I have cancelled my card. This is my last encounter with Lowe's. What a shame. read more

Lowe's was having their appliance sale. I needed a new washer and dryer. I really needed a stackable due to space constraints and full size due to family needs. When I got to Lowe's, I was so excited to see the full size washer and dryer stackable were $485 and $496. I decided to purchase both and told the sales person I was going to get them. The sale ended that day. After spending two hours in the store getting the run around, I was told they were not available, I was unable to purchase the floor models, but they would be happy to take my order for the new models coming out at double that price. I drove from Marshall after being advised Longview had the item I wanted to exchange and pay difference because they didn't have it stock and there was no stock at vendor to ship to home lets be clear first it was within 90 day window. I get to Longview advised the clerk at return desk I want to exchange and pay difference this was a gift from my boyfriend paid by him and shipped to our house using My Lowe's account. She asked was there any damage or problems advised that it has never been out box hint original yellow straps still on box. Instead of exchangimg or advising to get item I want she scanned my receipt and returned his money to the card. Then afterward she told me she couldn't exchange it. Had I been made aware I could not exchange I would have taken it back home. . Then ask for a manager a young lady came stating she was manager with no vest or identification asks the cashier what happened she went on to lie and say she told me that she couldn't exchange which was a lie according to the EXCHANGE/ REFUND policy listed on website/receipt. The so called manager then just total me I'm out of luck and she couldn't stop the refund so I could take my property home since I couldn't exchange an unopened item that I had a receipt for. I get him on phone she states she can recharge his card but not stop refund so I lose my property then told that I would have to pay full price. It will take 7-10 days to get a refund. After all the lies told I asked for district manager number and cashier name stated she could only give me corporate number and she refused to give cashier name that was standing right there but she purposely gave me the wrong number supposedly for corporate I have the paper she wrote number on. Then he tells me to go ahead and just pay full price shows its 1 in stock then the supposedly manager comes back and state we have one in stock assembled that has been sitting outside touched on in the elements for one that was in a box at full price or I can ship to home(declined advised I cam do.that myself) make it make sense why would the other cashier at return desk have to explain supposedly exchange policy to me if I asked for return. I WILL NEVER AGAIN GO TO LOWE'S LONGVIEW the convenience is not worth this horrible experience all sorts of made up lies vs what you can read in black and white according to their policy. NEVER SPECIAL ORDER FROM LOWES This is by far the worst customer service at any Lowe's I've ever shopped out in the country. I'll go one step further in stating this possibly might be the worst customer service I've ever experienced at any retail store in the country. I ordered a refrigerator in store and was told it would be in within a week; they would call me with an update. That was 75 days ago. I called every two days inquiring on the status often never having an employee to pick up the phone. When I finally get someone on the phone they tell me that they can't get the information from their vendor and I'm more than welcome to call them for an update. There must be something wrong with their organization when it comes to special orders - I have shown them where I can order it on Amazon and get it the next day. I live an hour and a half away from the store and asked to cancel the order. I was informed I must come into the store to cancel the order. When I insisted I do it over the phone they hung up on me. The only thing I can think of when it comes to this store is that management must be completely incompetent because I stopped buying from them a year ago and today I decided to buy online and pickup. After my notification that my order was ready I finally made it to the store three hours later to find out my order was not ready and everyone, except the young man who helped me load, did nothing except run me back and forth across the store. The pro desk would not do much even though 4 guys were standing behind the counter just shooting the bull but the brain dead person at costumer service just sent me to another level! On 8/25/2020 sales rep Chris McDonald in your Longview, TX store sold interior windows for my home in the amount of over $7000 dollars. He informed me that a contracted company would be coming out to install my windows. He also informed me that I would receive my contract via email and that never happened. When I contacted Chris in reference to my contract he informed me that I would have to go into the local store to pick that up. During the height of Covid that was not an option for me I contacted the store and they informed me that they would have it on file whenever I needed it. The contracted company sent out Julio who never completed the job. I contacted Tom Saco and Joshua from the company on several occasions within the year. They assured me that Julio would return and he never did. I contacted Julio several times throughout the months and calls were rejected. I went into Lowe's after several months of no response and I was informed that my contract couldn't be located. It has since been over the year for the warranty, and the windows have been paid for in full. I have contacted the ITS department and they also informed me that there was no contract. If the work has not been completed, but paid for, I feel as though Lowe's should honor their work and complete my windows. Lastly, I will bring up how the representative by the name of Shakita falsified a contract with my name on it. My daughter, Krystal Sanders contacted her. She emailed my daughter a copy of a contract and added my daughters name to the contract. Lowes did not know my daughters name until she called to make a formal complaint with Shakita, my daughters name should never be on this contract. That is how I know these records were falsified, plus the contract should've been in my father's name who is a joint owner of the Lowe's card that the windows were purchased through. Employees are not very helpful or offer much assistance. Had to chase down an employee to ask location of item and he just pointed in direction to go. Saw a mouse run across aisle at 10:00am. We told three different employees there was a mouse that ran across the aisle and all 3 said " I know and you should how many rats we have. There's nothing that can be done about it". Went in this evening looking for plants they had "in stock" on their website. Asked one lady in the garden center and was told - "I am just here to water plants, I don't know." Walked around looking. Stopped and asked another employee and was told - "I work in plumbing. This isn't my department." She then pointed me to another employee. I stopped and asked her, and she was so extremely rude -saying she didn't even know of the plant I was looking for. I cannot understand disrespect and condescension. There is absolutely no need for it. We ended up purchasing a different kind of plants. When we got to the front - the "plumbing department" employee was complaining to the checker about her horrible headache and that she was going to hide to take a break. She stood there explaining herself while a line formed to check out. She didn't care we were there as paying customers. This store is trash. I won't ever shop here again. This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life.i purchased washer and dryer on 11/30 set for delivery on 12/4. Received call from 3rd party delivery that couldn't do delivery,lowes would call to reschedule,the 3rd party couldn't reschedule. Waited 2 days never heard from Lowes. I called lowes in Longview phone rang for thirty min. With no answer. Hung up called again,another 30 min. With no answer. Called the 3rd time asked automated machine for supervisor, another 30 min. With no human contact. Called 3rd party delivery,responded I had to call lowes direct. I asked for a secret number not known to consumers to get a person to answer,they gave me a number that turned out to be pro desk, they answer. Told my story, they connected me to Carson, who attempted to help me. This was on sunday my original delivery date. I explained I was leaving for out of town on wednesday. She spoke with someone named roy. They agreed that the longview store would deliver the items on either tuesday or Wednesday morning before I left. But because it was a stacking unit they were not trained to set it up. This was to go in a closet in my kitchen. I moved all my furniture to allow room for it to be brought in. I never heard back to confirm the Wednesday date so on monday afternoon I called the store direct, again after multiple calls with no answer finally got a live person,Brittney. I explained I had spoken with a supervisor on sunday who was going to get it to me either tuesday or Wednesday and the Longview store would bring it. Brittney implied I was lying that they did not have a female supervisor that worked on Sunday and the store would never agree to bring it out. I had failed to get Carson's name on sunday. I asked Brittney to connect me to a supervisor, she hung up on me. Called the pro desk again and asked for a supervisor. Jackson connected me right away. The woman that answered sounded familiar, when I started telling my story she said oh yes she was who I talked to on sunday. At this point I asked her name,which was Carson, I asked her position and she said supervisor for deliveries. Maybe she needs to tell Brittney she is a female supervisor who works on sunday. They did bring the washer and dryer on Wednesday but forgot the stacking kit and the 3 prong electrical cord for the dryer. When delivery comes out to install they would bring it with them. I never got a call back with delivery date so when I called the pro desk again to get a live person Brittney said no delivery available for 2 weeks. I did call back to check on the delivery,but was told no delivery arranged. Well yesterday the 3rd party delivery made it out. After 30 minutes working on the stacking kit that didnt fit,they noticed it was for a whirlpool set,mine is LG. He said that I could still use the dryer untill then. So as he is putting the electrical cord on,he says all the screws on the back are stripped. And they would need to reorder a new dryer. Seriously?!! So after a month I am still going to a laundromat. I have yet heard from lowes as to when the new dryer and stacking kit will be delivered. read more

On delivery day, we were told the dryer was not available, and the refrigerator couldn't be installed because of an existing copper water line. Two guys (one without a mask) say they aren't allowed to touch copper and we hsve to have it removed, then reschedule installation. Three weeks, and no one thought to mention that? Or call to say the dryer wasn't available? Phoning this store is a nightmare. Lines are often busy, and I have been hung up on more than once by "accident". Caveat emptor! Pex rings, they put two bags of 25ct. rv pex rings. One of the bags was busted open, with lost rings. I emailed customer service a couple of weeks ago, but no response. My wife recently called Lowes In Longview Texas 75605 and asked for a quote on installing app 400'of 5' chain link fence on our property. Lowes sent a sales representative by the name of Chris McDonald out to give us an estimate for the work to be performed we marked the area with red paint which is still on the ground unless the rain washed it away. Two guys showed on Friday 8-28 and returned on Monday 8-31-20 in 2 days Mutt and Jeff were able to install 18 fence post (in the wrong place and 2 gate post in the wrong place). The installation crew (Mutt and Jeff) decided to move the fence app 3 feet further from the highway than what we agreed on. Basically I wanted my fence built on my property line across the front yard and by moving the fence I would basically be paying to install a fence 3 feet off of my property line causing us to lose 3 feet of our front yard. I told Mutt and Jeff to hit the road and take their TOOLS with them. My wife paid 1,500.00 dollars in cash and put the remaining 3,750.00 dollars on a Lowes credit card because of a low introductory interest rate. We called Lowes and told them to stop all work and they would be responsible for pulling the fence post up and we expected a full refund. The sales representative CHRIS MCDONALD claims that we had agreed to pay them 5,250 dollars for 165 feet of fence and a gate and that is not the case at all. The manager of the store called me today and told me they were going to refund a total of 1,600.00 dollars out of the 5,250.00 that we prepaid them. they are trying to charge us for material that isn't here and if it ever was here Mutt and Jeff or their goofy leader CHRIS MCDONALD took it with them when they left. I went to the store this afternoon and met with a manager by the name of Ryan that bears all resemblance of a fat cartoon character like CHRIS MCDONALD. I accepted the 1,600.00 that RYAN the fat cartoon character gave me and then called the Lowes credit card company and they are working on a resolution. I got an estimate on removing the post and repairing the damage to my yard for 2,000.00 dollars and I'm pretty sure Lowes of Longview will be paying for that. I will be needing someone to install the fence correctly. I will not use anyone that purchases material from Lowes in Longview in fact I will get the material myself and pay cash money for the labor. I will not use any one associated with the two fat cartoon characters CHRIS MCDONALD OR THE GOOFY NIGHT MANAGER THATS WORKING TONIGHT BY THE NAME OF BRYAN. Since March we paid for a vanity and marble top for our bathrm they sent 2 of their 3rd party contractors to measure the top. Well guess what? those butt heads got the measurements wrong and we still dont hve a vanity top...they want us to wait another frigging month (REALLY) so we got our money back trust me it wasn't that easy. Okay.. For years I had loved lowes..I could walk hours just getting ideas and purchasing items..however,the past 2 years this store has really gone down hill!! 1. The emploees seem rude,rushed,and act as if you are a bother. If you ask them ny questions they just point in a direction and say down there. 2. The paint department is a mess!! Rude ladies and I even had paint all in my buggy for a lide not closed completely. A friend of mine even got paint poured all over her when she lifted a can of paint out of the buggy to purchase it. 3. The workers in the appliance department lie!! I was in there the other day to purchase a stove and microwave.. One sales lady told me they had 2 stoves but no microwaves and I would have to order it..she tried finding the stove but came back and said she couldn't find any...so I walked away and went across the street to Home Depot.. They didn't carry the type I wanted so I went back to lowes just to Order the stove and microwave and have it delivered at another time... However,this time there was a different associate..and he informed me they had 7 microwaves and 3 stoves in the back...needless to say he never found the stove either but I didn manage to get my microwave,,, it's like pulling teeth in that store to spend money!! If the staff were friendlier, more helpful etc I know I would spend a lot more time and money!!! read more

I will say this, there's about 2-3 people who work at the Lowes in Marshall that are rock stars but if you don't deal with them, forget it!! If you don't know where an item is, don't ask because no one working there knows either. In the last 4 years I've made 388 purchases (according to my quickbooks) and 68 purchases in 2014 at this Lowes, so needless to say I'm in this store a lot. The only reason I go to the Lowes in Marshall, TX is because of the convenience. They have tools, paint, hardware, etc. all the things you'd expect from any warehouse type lumber yard. Here is my complaint in all of my visits, ANYTIME I've had to rely on an employee 9 times out of 10, they don't have the foggiest idea what they're doing or your an inconvenience to them. Example- you need a key made and they don't know how to run the machine, you need lumber cut no one knows how to run the saw, you need paint mixed they don't know how, or the person that knows is on break, out to lunch, has the day off, didn't show up, you go to pick u an appliance and it take 45 minutes+ to bring it out to the front. There's 20? employees working at one time and no one knows anything. Lowes of Marshall, TX....YOUR SERVICE SUCKS!!........Everything rises and falls at leadership, so this tells me that your leadership is totally incompetent.!! read more

I have always received good to excellent service at this location, and Longview. Whether it be plumbing, flooring, paint, electrical, Appliances, or online ordering everyone was helpful, friendly, and gave excellent service. Sometimes the employee May not be from that department, however they do what they can to help me or find someone who can assist my needs. There were a few times I have had to wait for an extended amount of time, those times The store was extremely busy. I will continue to shop here. This location seems to have what I need at a fair price with people more than happy to help my needs. By far much better than its competitor next-door. read more

So I , stopped by Lowe's today to get a quote on a pallet of mulch. Couldn't find a single customer service person in the outside area near home and gardens . I later observed three customer service personnel reps loading a vehicle with mulch. I asked to get some help inside the store. A young white female rep stated we are loading this vehicle. There are other in the store that can help you. I guess she figured she better at least see what myself and the other people who were awaiting help needed. So she came over to assist (myself and the other lady that waited) but not free of a rude, nasty attitude. She was very cold and direct to every question and even answered some questions before I could finish asking. You could see her veins pulsating in her forehead. I tried to be nice and polite and finally gave into her despicable demeanor and walked away. I later return with the store manger who advised he would look into the matter. I can only hope he did. I am withholding her name because I believe maybe she was having a bad day. I would not recommend asking for assistance from any Lowe's customer service reps unless you are a medic or have a direct access to paramedics because they just might have a freaking stroke or aneurysm!!! read more
