My family and another couple were standing at what appeared to be an entrance, no signs saying it wasn't. We couldn't understand why the door wouldn't open. Inside were four, I repeat 4 employees just standing there talking (purposely it seemed) not acknowledging us or would not make eye contact until we waved our arms and finally knocked kindly asking why door was stuck or whatever.... One girl who was eating something with no Lowes jacket on struts over with body language attitude and says very rudely and sassy " the door is not opening for a reason, this is an exit" my response was "we were just asking" omg what a rude person she was. She then had us enter and she walked back over to the other employees talking very loudly, (still eating) and stating "I'm on my lunch break" I think someone was asking her something or whatever. The "exit" was parallel to the parking lot right in the front store and appeared to be an entrance, not just to us but to others as well. Not sure if they locked it on purpose to prevent customers from coming in or what but was very rude way to greet people, her tone and body language belonged somewhere else. Again, just like the Tukwila Lowes i was trying to buy a washer and when I approached the area the one employee that was there scurried away and disappeared. I had to walk around the store to find someone to help me who could tell me what they had in stock so i could purchase one today. FINALLY, Jasmine arrived to the area and was very helpful and attentive and helped me, completed my purchase and went back to the warehouse and hand trucked the washer out herself. I felt bad because I had noticed many other workers that were doing nothing that could have been more help, especially to her. Out of nowhere a guy named Joe stepped in and assisted, she did not scurry away, however, they both took it out to my vehicle and i very much appreciated them. Thank you Jasmine and Joe for your help today. As for the girl with the extremely rude greeting, (I wish I had her name) I really hope you can find some happiness so you don't treat other people so rudely. To the store manager Marquis, I need you to talk to your employees because I'm not sure you even have any. I didn't see anyone for the 25 minutes I was in the store and I desperately needed help. Not sure if they were all on lunch at the same time but the only person I saw was security and even HE couldn't find anyone to help me out. The only person to help was the cashier. Wow.... So my bf and I ran into Lowe's this morning after picking up Starbucks to get some paint for a project we're working on. As soon as we got into our isle a senior white woman employee followed us and pretended to be looking for something. We are both Hispanic and knew that she was just making sure we weren't stealing anything and just decided to ignore her. But then after about 8 mins of her standing behind us I decided to ask politely if we were in her way. She replied that No she was just looking for something.... okay sure grandma. Well we continued on comparing colors when of course another older white male employee joins her so I ask if we were in his way as well. He said "No I have all day and you seem to have all your teeth so you don't really fit the demographic of a puffer"....... So first of all that is unprofessional to talk to a customer that way and second... I just turned 30 I'm healthy, clean and have pretty damn good looking teeth so the only other reason I could think of why they were doing this to us is because of our race.... I mean I know lots of Hispanic people shop here so maybe we were just the ones they decided to pick on. They didn't offer us help until we called them out on their unnecessary behavior. We got what we needed and checked out. I've NEVER experienced anything like this before. I'm appalled, you would think during these times business like Lowe's would have some stricter guidelines with their customer service. Discrimination is not okay! This is my local lowe's. Although I have had more bad experiences than good, I would say that the staff is nice overall. However, don't order online because most of the time the order will go through, but then get cancelled. Looks like the stock isn't very accurate. There are never full water jugs to exchange or buy, and the wood saw was out of order when I went. read more

This location has the best customer service! I was rearranging my place using Keter storage cabinets system and the storage units I was using has been discontinued and sold out everywhere in Washington (Bellingham to Lacey). After many visits to different stores, I called and asked to buy the displays and a couple stores said yes but when I arrived, they have already sold them. So this location was my last hope to complete my storage area. I went into this store on a Friday evening and was assisted by Christina so I asked if I can buy the display and she said she will speak to her store manager and to call her on Monday. When I called on Monday, Christina said she got the approval to sell me the display and to come in. When I got there Christina was in a meeting and Shawn was able to help remove the display and he approved for the 25% display discount which was a super nice bonus. He told me how to operate multiple tools.i.e. Weedwacker, chainsaw I had an issue starting the chainsaw and brought it back to be looked it. I was immediately offered a refund by customer service. It was a simple fix. The chain was on to tight. It was remedied by the gentleman at customer service and I was merrily on my way. Thank you to all the helpful staff here. read more

The employees at this store have zero knowledge when its comes to plumbing ie; toilet and faucets. We had them install the toilets and have had non stop issues for almost 2 years. Finally after having the plumber come look at it again who said there were no issues and that it was the toilet we bought, we had a new plumber come in to take out the toilets to find the wax ring were not installed correctly and covered half the hole where waste needs to go thru! Toilets are suppose to last years not 2! If the 'mexican build' toilet is not a good product why sell it!? Unknowledgeable employees, not helpful when help is needed, crappy install work and just a waste of my $$$ have to buy new toilets etc. read more

Called at 12:30pm to try and get 50 pavers ordered and delivered for the next day. The customer service rep (tyler) told me that the managers were in a meeting and didn't know if we could deliver it tomorrow but could check. He said he would call me back in an hour and took down my name and number. Never called back. I call back at 2:30pm and explain again I would like to know if this could happen tomorrow. I ask for Tyler as he is the one that is supposed to be letting me know if it can come tomorrow. The woman on the phone assures me that they are all full for tomorrow and that it won't be delivered. I tell that would have been good to know an hour ago, and ask her if she can let me know when it could be delivered. Says she needs to put me on hold as she is with someone now. Puts me on hold. I wait about 10 minutes and someone takes up the call. She asks what I need and explain again that I need pavers to be delivered and need help ordering them. She says she is going to transfer me over to the garden dept or something and I said I don't want that, I want to order these pavers and want to know when they will arrive. She starts to tell me again that she is with customers now and blah blah blah. I hang up. Go online. Order the pavers in about ten minutes. Says they can deliver tomorrow. I don't know exactly who to blame here... My mom is redoing her entire kitchen and went to Lowe's for all the appliances. So the horror story goes... Got an entire Kitchen appliance set by Samsung. New fridge, stove, washing machine and over stove microwave. So everything except for the microwave was perfect. When they went to install the microwave, it didn't power up when plugged in. Well what's one bad egg? So they take the microwave back and my mom had to go back to Lowe's and get a new one. Open up the box and what do we see? It's dented. Not only is it dented the rotating tray is missing and there is no documentation. So they take it back and say they'll deliver a new one...it's been a week. We call and they say the manager in charge of this isn't working today and there's no record of what the situation is and they can't help. It's been a week! What the hell? I guess the beef goes in part to Samsung for two bum products in a row, but c'mon Lowe's. How about some customer service? I mean does it really take that long to get another microwave? Since the microwave is also the hood system for the stove, she can't even cook on it without filling the newly renovated kitchen downstairs with smoke. Bad bad bad customer service. I don't want people working at a home improvement store who know less about home improvement than an average person. A month or so ago I was told that they were not staffed to cut a price of plywood I was buying. The person who told me thus was sitting in a chair at the contractors desk. This lowes sucks. The employees walk around acting busy but won't bother to help you out, except for a few good ones that we always look for now when we need any assistance. There are some employees I actually run away from in here because I've yelled at them before for being stupid af and I don't want to have to do it again. Lol Don't order carpet from them! Took months with no updates on what was going on (although we called and called).. It was for our baby's nursery and we honestly wanted to cancel it because it took 3+ months to get our new carpet and time was running out. I think in the end, the carpet guy just showed up at our house to install it. I just answered the door and let him in lol. Definitely don't order a product to be shipped to the store for pickup. Our stuff was damaged. BADLY damaged. And it was special order (bathtub, windows) for our bathroom remodel. Oh yeah, and some nasty bitch came over and tried to touch my baby because she said she "misses her kids while she's at work" but she had been touching DIRTY ASS MONEY and products all day while working. Not the best run Lowe's but closer than Home Depot. Will do in a pinch if you need common items. If you need hard to find items that Lowes Webb Site are ready for pick up call ahead if they will answer the phone. Staffing is courteous even but don't ask a question outside the sales associate area of responsibility. I can never find everything thing needed for a project. Always out of that last item like when I need to make some wire cables. Always have the cable but never the matching ferrule or vise versa. Told its due to stocking issues with Covid. Hmmm...My recent trip to Federal Way Home Depot didn't seem to suffer from that impediment. I do like the Veteran's Parking but I have to ask, can the speed bumps, more like speed moutains be any higher ? Its worse than that Obstacle Course in The Army. No zigging around those nor zagging out The Parking Lot without enncountered Mini-Mt. Rainier. Those speed mountains are going to wreck the front end of my vehicle one day and cost me a parking lot full of money. read more

I do a lot of projects on my own house and for friends. The staff is helpful and takes the time to explain things. I've never had trouble returning defective items. There is an elderly guy who has taught me a lot and saved me from making mistakes on using the wrong products and fasteners. Can't remember his name at the moment but I always look for him first if I have a question. Lately they seem to have increased number of staff so you don't have to wander for an hour as in Home Depot. It's on my way home so I can swing by and check the sale items--- I've purchased bit by bit until I had enough to rebuild a damaged barn-- 50% off for materials is excellent. read more

The lady at the customer service desk helped me out by lending me a box cutter so I can cut it down to size. Kary at the Pro desk was tremendously helpful not only with explaining the different products, but in helping with design ideas and materials required. Brad, the manager was right there to offer input and assistance. Alex was very helpful on a couple of issues as well. The overall service was about as good as one could ask for. We left feeling much more confident about our plans and very well taken care of. Also, follow up questions and modifications were handle professionally. The delivery driver, Junior got our materials squeezed into a pretty tight staging area; he is the master of the Moffett! Unfortunately have to modify this review. We needed a bit more material and process seemed cumbersome and disjointed. We felt as if we were being an annoyance and communications totally broke down. I came here to buy a few items & one being a power tool. Website says they have at least 10, but several employees "looked" and they couldn't find them. My husband went & looked & found them up above an isle and he found 10 of them. The cashier wasn't helpful and actually sent me out of his line because the other employees were taking too long. Not friendly and very frustrating having to wait for so long. I asked to speak to a manager but the cashier wouldn't comply, a head cashier came to speak to me, but was like "oh, you wanted to speak to a manger, not me". We recently purchased a new toilet and a faucet for our bathroom. Both excellent products and installed with precision by Lowe's contracted plumber "Rodney", a personable man with an air of confidence that the job at hand would be nothing less than perfection. All this being told, Rodney worked at this installation for around three hours and when he left, we were and still are happy with the workmanship, but we don't agree with Lowe's charging over $200.00 dollars per hour for this job. We will never ask Lowe's for another home improvement product that includes an extremely unfair wage to any installer. As long time customers, we have used Lowe's as far back as when it was called "Eagle", and have always been pleased with products and workers and installation charges; not at all this one, which should have charged not to exceed $60.00 hourly. Our next choice at Lowe's (Because they do have a great array of valuable items will be "pick up", and find our own installer at a realistic hourly wage. As for Lowe's products/prices. we would assign five stars. read more

Brett, an associate at Lowe's, provided excellent customer service by going above and beyond for a customer. I asked a cashier to throw away an broken sliding door handle, without realizing I needed a mount from it to install the new one I was purchasing. Yet by the time I realized Lowe's closed at 9pm and it was 920. I was worried the part I needed was going to be thrown away for good if I didn't race to the store in hopes of someone helping. I had numerous workers walk by, and mouth "we are closed" and just shook their head at me, even the cashier who assisted me about 30 minutes earlier. I was so frustrated, yet in a stroke of luck I called and was able to get someone to answer. That someone was Brett, not only did he hear me out (so appreciates), he gladly said "ok, let me check". Sure enough I saw him come into sight while I was standing outside the exit doors in the cold. He pulled the old sliding door handle out of the trash and brought it out to me. I can't tell all enough how much Brett came to my rescue and truly understands what customer service is and clearly goes above and beyond for the average customer. read more

We purchased carpet and had it installed last week. The installers left trash in the house and outside. They took off pain on the wall so now we have to repaint the area. They did not attached some of the closet tracking. They did not put carpet in one of the closets despite my letting the installer know then when he did the measuring. They are did not leave any remnants as we did not tell them we wanted them to do so. We were told this needed to be documented in the contract. Wow never have we had to do this. Nor did the sales person every mention this. So if you want to carpet your house I suggest you go elsewhere. We will now shop at Home Depot. read more

This Lowe's is the worst. Horrible customer service. No one here even cares to help you. Had to track someone down to buy a $100 tool and after checking out with a paid propane exchange no one showed up to swap my tank. Flagged down two different employees, neither of which had the key, said they'd get the guy with the key. After 25 minutes of waiting and still no one I returned my $150 of merchandise and got propane in 10 minutes at the Uhaul. I will just go to Home Depot from now on. Hopefully they will appreciate my business more. read more

If giving zero stars were an option, that would still be much too generous. Seriously the worst experience ever at this location through and through. The first time, I was looking for blinds for my door and asked SEVEN different associates for help just to be told that they would send someone to help me grab the item I needed off of the shelves. I ended up waiting over 1 HOUR just for help. The aisles also have these buttons that you can press to notify someone that you need help, I also made use of those and still received no help. Eventually, I got the curtains, but they were wrong ones and when I told the associate that had helped me, they told me they'd send someone to help me and proceeded to walk away. The second time, I went in just to get a copy of a key. The machines they had were down, I'm not sure that they worked anyways, but it took almost 30 minutes for someone to come and help, but even then, they went and helped other customers that got there AFTER I did, and after they helped those customers, they left right after having asked me if I had been helped and what it was that I needed. This third time, I went in looking for some pots for plants with roughly four hours left on the clock before closing, after having walked around the outdoor garden area and looked multiple times for a specific pot, I then decided to ask for help since I was in a bit of a rush and could not find it myself. Once again, I got no help and was left waiting for about 20 minutes. I went back out to the garden area and found the pots after looking around again. They were labeled as being on sale and could qualify for a discount if purchased in bulks of 5 or more, which was cool since I was needing to buy them in bulk. Anyways, I grabbed what I needed and brought them to check out. The associate that checked me out had a horrible attitude and was extremely rude. Long story short, got charged full price and when I asked why they were not the discounted price so that I could understand if the sale/ discount value was no longer in effect, the associate completely ignored me after throwing my receipt at me. Since I had already been in the store long enough, I could not be bothered to try and ask someone to help me refund the items that I had just purchased as I knew all too well that I would not be receiving any help of any sort even if I stood there all night asking various people for help. read more

One of my favorite locations when I need something for my home. Nice big parking lot which never seems to be to full. The staff is always friendly and asks you if you need help locating anything. For the most part the employees actually understand about the departments they are in and if not they know where to get an answer. I woke up to a flat tire this morning and live close to this lowes so walked over to get a electric tire pump as I saw they had a few different kinds online needed some air in it so I could get to the tire store to get it fixed. I looked around couldnt find them so asked someone first guy walked me to the compressor attachment aisle and says I'm sorry we dont carry those. I found another guy and he says we dont sell those and tried to give me fix a flat and says we dont sell those while standing in front of a kit that has one in it. I point it out and he says well I knew you didnt want to spend 71 bucks. Um how do you know what I want to spend? So I decided to look some more and low and br hold a aisle will that big compressors 4 or 5 different brands and kinds of tire pumps. Hmmmmmm.
