I made an online purchase of mulch and decorative trim for my flower beds the other day. I took advantage of a 20% offer. The next morning I received an email letting me know it was ready for pickup. When I arrived all I had to do is show them my email and they loaded my car. I wish they had plastic so I could put it on the carpet of my car. Unfortunately the decorative trim was too wide so I processed a return. All in all I was happy with the process. I do recommend they have plastic to use. read more

If it's not bad enough when you give them a lot of money to purchase a large appliance and they need to make 12 attempts before getting you one that's not damaged, causing interruptions in your workdays, spoiling food, etc. and they don't think they need to give you anything to make up for that. It's also bad enough when they delivery people conceal sharp damage on the back of the refrigerator and then slam that into your wall, causing damage on your wall and their customer relations promises to get it repaired and then hope you forget about it. Then deny your claim to repair it when you refuse to let it go. even worse, though I just learned that Lowes is collecting everyone's license plates when you park in the parking lot and selling that to the government. They installed them under the guys of helping with theft however, now they're selling it to the government to help the government kidnap people. they are essentially supporting ICE and going against our constitution since that's what our government and ICE are doing. Anyone who assist in this is just as wrong. Take your money elsewhere. Just don't go to Home Depot either because they're in bed with them too. shame on you, Lowes. I previously frequented this Lowe's and have used their pro install services for blinds, storm doors, fence and wood flooring. Thus far I have been content with the services provided. Unfortunately, I was served a gargantuan dose of disappointment when I opted to have my upstairs flooring installed via. Lowe's. The first issue was that the flooring which I had selected for my downstairs in 2019 was no longer available. I selected a different flooring, going with the closest color/pattern available. I was advised that I would not actually receive the brand which was on display, but instead would receive "Lowe's brand" (I'm still confused as to how this is not false advertising, but I went with it as long as the color/quality was comparable). There was quite a bit of hold-up/back&forth with finalizing my project. I was later told by a flooring associate that the previous associate assigned to my project had "dropped the ball" [on my order] after transferring to another dept. I initially went into the store to make the selection on January 14 and did not have the install appt until early April. When the installer arrived he advised me that he was not familiar with installing click-lock wood flooring and that this would be his 1st time as he was only familiar with nail/glue down wood floors. Additionally it was determined that the flooring which was sent to me was way off-color from the sample provided. It was also a laminate although I had specifically taken my previous work order (from the 2019 install) into the store and specified that I do not want laminate. Needless to say I was majorly disappointed and pissed as I had taken the day off work as well as cleared all furniture from the room in prep for Installation. I immediately went to the store and demanded to speak to a manager. The flooring staff and manager were very understanding and attempted to rectify the situation. Thankfully the unwanted flooring was picked up within a reasonable time and without incident. Additionally I have placed curbside orders recently only to have no one ever come out despite me checking in/calling store to Inform of my arrival. I understand that the pandemic has affected a lot of aspects of how many businesses operate. However, I consider this to be unacceptable and am unlikely to use Lowe's again for install projects. read more

Great customer service is exemplified at this Lowe's in Kannapolis, NC. While Lowe's often has good service a few things made this experience stand out. When I arrived, a terrific, energetic associate greeted me and asked if I needed anything. As it happened, I was there just to grab a can of WD40. She told me where it was, but to my happy surprise she had it waiting for me after my perusal of the seasonal niceties that caught my attention. I was wearing high heels, and as such I appreciated not needing to shlep to the other end of the rather large store. She saved me the trip, as well as provided complete details on the product such as size options and prices. She made shopping easy. My Lowe's fairy god mother was called Ginny, but the cashiers were also fabulous, fast and cheerful. I simply cannot allow this level of excellence to go un-applauded! I am sharing my experiences with Lowe's on line. I will finish with the fact that if more brick and mortar stores staffed associates of this caliber I would do a lot less shopping online. read more

The best feature of this Lowe's is the paint department. I love to get my paint mixed here. The plumbing department is usually pretty helpful. I like walking through the outside garden section to admire the live plants and garden decor. I like the fact that the store is pet friendly and I can bring my dog. I went to the location on Dale Earnhardt in Kannapolis to get some lawn edging. After picking what I wanted I get to the register to pay. Now the sticker on the where this item is in the picture says one thing and the register said more. So the guy asked another worker . He said the tag wasn't changed talking about how they were under staffed. And apologized I then said keep it I'm not paying more than I anticipated. I will call to see if there tags had been changed through out the garden center. read more

We sat down with Lowe's kitchen designer July 22, 2022. We planned new cabinets, flooring, backsplash and appliances. There have been so many delays it is absurd. You can't reach the store. There are always excuses. Our sink was delivered to the wrong address. Our flooring when it arrived my family had to unload the truck. Their driver couldn't cross the threshold. When cabinets were delivered the corner cabinet was 36 inches, not the 30 inches that was requested. Due to extensive delays with delivery we kept it. This threw off the entire kitchen. We lost a cabinet because of the lost 6 inches. We wanted 2 cabinets, identical, butted up together to be storage and a table to seat 6. They still don't have that right and due to inaccurate measurements we probably will never have what we want. Lowe's has poor customer service. Our project manager left the store in February and we only knew from an automated email. The managers still there never took the time to reach out to us. We have had to reach out to corporate and still over 1 year we still have an unfinished kitchen and they have our money. read more

As a repeat customer of Lowe's, I would have expected far better than the horrendous treatment I received this past year. So much so that I've decided to take my business to Home Depot. In May of 2020 I ordered a fence and was told it would be installed within 3-6 weeks. Imagine my frustration as the months passed (7 months to be exact!) with NO FENCE and absolutely no support from Lowe's management. In fact, Lowe's never once called me to tell me my fence would not be installed within the agreed upon timeframe. I had to make repeated calls just to get anyone in to even talk to me on the phone or even return a phone call. And when I did get someone on the phone they were very rude and repeatedly would lie and tell me the fence would be installed within a few weeks. They even lied at one point and told me the fence material was in, when it fact it WASN'T! After repeated attempts to get resolution I finally reached out to Action 9 news. Only then did I get any results. Even then it took weeks to get my fence installed. To make matters worse, they didn't even install the correct color fence that I paid for! I was forced to take whatever color they had just so I could get a fence for my safety. I am disabled vet and that fence was critical to my feeling safe in my home. As much as Lowe's touts valuing vets, I am appalled at the way I was treated. If you value great service and a phenomenal experience, Lowe's is absolutely NOT the place to go. Save yourself the headache and frustration and take your business elsewhere. read more

We ordered a range and refrigerator over 3 weeks ago so while we were on stay and get stuff done vacation it would be delivered! Delivery came today was told that couldn't find the refrigerator but they would go ahead and deliver the range. We have called ever since they were here and still HAVEN'T GOTTEN AN ANSWER. This started at 9:30 am and now it's 8:45 PM. That should tell you something about customer service. THERE IS NONE! And I thought Home Depot was bad! And still no refrigerator!!! read more

Their holiday selection is good, however their posts to go in a house are a 'special order' item, and are overpriced as they are classified as 'columns'. We were going to be spending between $300 and $900 a post or column, and we found a privately owned store that would give us finished posts for $65 for two of them. I would also look elsewhere for windows. I've found better for much cheaper. read more

Not sure if the staff was really that dumb and annoying or if they were just messing with me. But after a few laps around the store, wasting about 2 hours of my life, and talking to 5/5 useless employees, I decided that I was not that desperate for my project at home and went to Home Depot the next day instead ‍. Lowe's , you've let me down and this may be the final straw. I always preferred Lowe's over HD. Normally cleaner store with better products. This time: I custom ordered 2 entry doors along with 2 Secure storm doors. This was ordered first week of March. April finally arrives and the doors arrive at my home. Installer comes the next day. Says "first thing we need to check is that the doors are correct". Seems like he's been through this before.!? First door we check is the main entry door. Box is labeled correctly. However, door in box is wrong swing. No good can't use it. All other doors are fine. Lowe's Tennessee Millwork is the manufacture of the door. And apparently if you work at Lowe's Tennessee millwork you really don't have to know what left and right swing doors are....... I called Lowe's corporate and they filed my complaint with Lowe's at Dale Earnhardt and the store started working on getting things corrected, at least that's what I've been told. 2 weeks go by and no update. My order should be top priority since the manufacturer "Lowe's" screwed it up. Lowe's at Dale Earnhardt says they agree with me and will get It moved up so I get the correct door sooner. But it took two weeks and me calling corporate again to even get this response.....another week passes and no update. Corporate says local manager will call you in 15 mins. Well guess what, no call. Corporate also said manager says door is arriving the next day at store. We'll surely that's not true because that was last week. Bottom line, if you wonder why Lowe's is laying 800 workers off or relocating them this must be part of the reason. YOU CANNOT depend on them to correct anything. Or rectify their own internal corporate mistakes. Local manager surely doesn't care or it would obviously appear that way since I have had no contact from them since I was told he/she would call in 15 mins over a week ago. To say the least I will not be ordering a damn thing from them and will most likely take my business to HD in the future even though I don't want to. I've had several co-workers have similar issues with other Lowe's stores with ordered/delivered incorrect or damaged items. Still awaiting my door arrival............wonder how long it will be since it is now almost May and still no door. LOWES you suck. 5-17-19.....they say it will be installed 5-24-19. We shall see. I can't wait to get it and find that yet again they have screwed up. But hopefully I will get lucky and the door will be correct. Lowe's customer care (corporate 800 number) makes it extremely difficult to file a complaint. The first complaint was easy. But after that you must wade through the department manager, the store manager and only then are you allowed to complain to the regional manager. The store manager never called me back , so basically they denied me the right to reach the regional manager. I arrived at Lowe's before 7am to quickly pick up a few bags of paver base. I begrudgingly went to the Kannapolis store after having prior bad experiences because how can they get mess up paver base, right? WRONG! I walked out of Lowe's at 8am, here's why. I asked Britney at customer service for assistance getting the shrink wrapped bags that had not been affected by condensation. She instructed me to meet another associate at the paver to retrieve them. I went back to the area and waited except no one showed up. I returned to customer service and asked for a manager. Britney called Corey and explained what happened. Corey, the manager, came and literally stood next to my cart and stared at me until I gave her a puzzled look and she finally asked how she could help. I told her I was the customer Britney was referring to and she took me to the paver aisle. There I waited forever for four employees, Corey, Debbie, Karen, and Walter to put gas in a forklift. The problem I have with this is that after they were unsuccessful in doing so they retrieved another forklift! I'd been in the store for an hour on what should have been a ten minute trip and they had the ability to just get a working forklift! I'm with Victoria L. on this one: knowledgeable, friendly customer service. I came in for a couple items, and Christina helped me. We couldn't find a direct match to the microwave bulb I needed to replace, but she even walked me back to the microwaves to show me what we did have would work. I've dealt with a gal in the paint department before, and she had these same qualities of wanting to help and knowing what she was talking about. In a day and age when asking an associate for assistance elsewhere usually gets a grumble and blank stare, these Lowe's employees are a breath of fresh air! read more
